Abstract: A protective glove apparatus includes a left-handed shoulder-length glove, and a right-handed shoulder-length glove. A collar extends from a proximal end of the left-handed shoulder-length glove and extends from a proximal end of the right-handed shoulder-length glove. The collar is configured to substantially surround a user's neck and help prevent the left-handed shoulder-length glove and the right-handed shoulder-length glove from sliding down the user's arms.

Abstract: A protective glove includes a glove body defining an interior space for, in use, receiving a hand of a user. The glove body can include a liner that is constructed from or includes a material that is compatible with a polymer or nitrile outer coating. A padding layer includes a closed cell foam material. A guard layer includes guard elements that cover at least a portion of a back-of-hand portion of the glove body and one or more finger portions of the glove body. The glove also includes a polymer or nitrile outer coating applied to the liner. Methods of making the disclosed protective gloves are also disclosed.

The business suit includes front facing panels and upper sleeve panels formed of a first facing fabric; and an inner lining formed of a second moisture wicking fabric. The suit may further include a sleeve liner interior to a respective upper sleeve panel and the lower sleeve panel, the sleeve liner formed of a third fabric. In various embodiments, the business suit further includes pants. The pants include exterior facing panels formed of the first facing fabric; a waistband formed of the first facing fabric; and a pants liner formed of the second moisture wicking fabric and joined to the waistband. The Gi with tangle-proof drawstring of the present invention minimizes the tangling of the drawstring by having a circumferential drawstring passing through a waistband hem formed with a plurality of channel stitches that isolate the waistband passing through the hem and out through the waistband guides. As the drawstring passes through the waistband hem of the Gi pants, the upper portions of drawstring and the lower loop of drawstring are separated and pass through a channel stitch gap thus separating adjacent portions of the drawstring thereby eliminating the tangling which often occurs through use.

The present disclosure provides a helmet cap that covers an underlying hard shell helmet. The helmet cap has a durable, energy absorbing outer shell, which lessens the initial impact to the helmet. The outer shell is formed into segments of padded material that may deform on impact. The outer shell has an inner surface that allows the outer shell to slide over the surface of a helmet thereby reducing forces applied to a wearer. The helmet cap may be securely attached to helmets without modification of the helmets. The helmet cap may include an adjustable fastener that allows the helmet cap to be securely attached to helmets of varying dimensions.

Abstract: A contact surface, such as a seating surface on a mandible guard is adjustable such that variations in helmet geometry and/or mandible geometry can be accommodated. The mandible guard may be fixedly attached to a helmet with an attachment arm, yet be configured to permit adjustment of the height of the contact surface to reduce or eliminate a gap between the helmet and a guard portion of the mandible guard. A tilt arrangement may be provided between the attachment arm and the guard portion of the mandible guard to allow a wearer to adjust a pitch angle of the guard portion relative to the attachment arm.

Abstract: A protective headwear assembly is provided having a built-in camera, including a camera lens disposed in a front portion thereof. The camera lens is configured to provide a downward orientation relative to a horizontal plane of the headwear so that the camera captures imaging near the feet of the wearer. The constraining layers are interlaced on one side of the base layer, and the two ends of the base layer, away from said one side of the constraining layer, are surrounded by at least one elastic securing portion exhibiting a resisting force. As the user wearing the protective gear of the present invention performs activities, the constraining layers can generate a four-way elastic constraining force to provide suitable supports to the joins and cartilages extended or contracted due to the movements of the body while the elastic securing portion is able to secure the present invention on the body part without slippage such that the present invention provides a durable gear capable of providing protections to users to prevent injuries caused by join twisting or muscle spasm.

Abstract: An appendage wrap having a sequential set of graphic instruction steps printed across the length of the wrap on one or both sides for explaining and illustrating how a user is to apply the wrap to a specific appendage. Each individual instruction step is readily visible to the user and is easily discernable as the wrap is unrolled and wound around the appendage. Text instructions provide concise directions to the user. Simply illustrations of the appendage (hand graphics) provide a visual reference to the user for the direction and location where the wrap will be wound. Arrows are used to visually guide the user as wrap is unrolled and wound around the wrist.

A textile material, such as a fabric, comprises a plurality of these yarns. A garment, such as a shirt or a pant, comprises such a textile material. A method for protecting an individual from infrared radiation that can be generated during an arc flash utilizes such a textile material.

Abstract: A ballistic resistant groin protector is provided. The groin protector includes a groin panel and a deployable groin wrap. The groin panel can be suspended from clothing or equipment to protect a wearer's anterior pelvic region from ballistic impact. The groin wrap is moveable from a stowed position adjacent the anterior pelvic region to a deployed position between the wearer's legs and adjacent a posterior pelvic region. One or more fasteners secure the groin wrap to the wearer's clothing or equipment to maintain the groin wrap in the deployed position. Optional left and right femoral protective portions extend downwardly from the groin wrap to protect the wearer's medial thigh regions against ballistic injury in the deployed position.

Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention relates to a plunger device for clearing a clog from drain. The plunger device includes a handle, a plunger cup, and an auger attachment. The handle has a shaft removably connected to the plunger cup at the top of the cup, and the auger attachment is also releasably connected to the plunger cup at the bottom of the cup. The auger attachment extends beyond the rim and cup body of the plunger cup so that the auger attachment is mechanically inserted into the drain. The auger attachment is formed of a stronger material than the plunger cup. The push and pull of the handle creates the air pressure and vacuum action of the plunger cup to clear the clog. Also, the action creates the boring and retraction action of the auger attachment against the clog in the drain.

A manual release operatively coupled to the drum is actuatable to selectively disengage the drum from the motor to allow the lifting strap to be manually extended. Also disclosed is an overhead patient lift system including the movement system and a method for manually extending a lifting strap of an overhead patient lift system.

These straps can be affixed to the sheet/liner/pad during the manufacturing process to be an integral part of the sheet. Another subject-matter of the invention is a composition comprising the ingredients i) to v), the use of the combination of i), ii), iii), iv) and v) for dyeing and/or lightening keratinous fibres and a multicompartment kit comprising the ingredients i) to v). The dyeing method and the composition according to the invention make it possible in particular to obtain a lasting colouration on keratinous fibres which is intense, chromatic and/or homogeneous, with or without the use of an oxidizing agent.
