The elongated band is configured to pull through the ring, to be stretched and wound around itself and attach to the elongated band at any point to create a loop, without the use of a looped receptor and to function as both a hair tie and a wrist bracelet.

Abstract: A dry peel cosmetic sampler including a series of plies or layers of material such as polymer, polyethylene, foil, a polymer sheet lined with foil, paper, all of which plies have equivalent dimensions, so that when the sampler is assembled, with all of its plies have no separate edges, when assembled for processing and application to a carrier such as a newspaper, magazine page, and the like. The sampler includes a top ply, a bottom ply, an intermediate ply, having a well formed therein, a sample of cosmetic is applied, and all of said plies are heat sealed through a mild application that allows for the top ply to peel free from the middle and bottom plies during usage. A dry peel base label is secured by a dry peel adhesive to the underside of the bottom ply, so that when the sampler is received by the consumer, the entire sampler can be released from the dry peel base, and conveyed or used separately.

Abstract: A beverage transportation satchel designed to assist a user in carrying a case of beverages on their person is disclosed. The satchel comprises a plurality of elongated straps which are arranged to form a cradle which is responsible for interfacing with the beverage case. More specifically, the cradle is designed to support beverage cases wherein the straps are adjustable in order to resize the cradle to accommodate many different sizes of beverage cases. The cradle is also collapsible in order to facilitate easy transport of the beverage satchel when it is not being used to carry a beverage case. Due to the efficient design of the cradle, the present invention may be compressed down to a very small size when not in use.

Abstract: Ear-mounted apparatus are provided for secure and comfortable load bearing in support of optical, biosensor, and mobile communication functionalities. In particular, a load-bearing ear unit is provided which includes an anchor for stable attachment in an ear and a member extending from the anchor. The member has therein a rotational stabiliser adapted to provide stability in relevant planes for secure ear mounting. Also provided is an ear-mounted optical device, comprising the load-bearing ear unit and one of a camera, a light source, a virtual reality device, a IrDA-device, and a photo diode. Further provided is an ear-mounted wearable device, comprising the load-bearing ear unit and one or more biosensors. A particular such wearable device is an ear-mounted EAG device.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a new brush drying support and method for drying brushes, on the support. The invention comprises a support, comprised of a structure with a generally planar top portion, disposed at an optimal angle for retaining and draining brushes. This top portion is covered with a gripping material that holds brushes placed directly on the support, without requiring further retaining means. The proper method for retaining and draining a wet brush occurs when a brush is placed on an angled top portion of said support, with the brush stem located above the brush head. Further, the brush head overhangs the bottom edge of the top (angled) portion of the support. This novel brush support, and method of drying brushes, provide several advantages over the prior art; namely, improved cleanliness of the brush head, preservation and longevity of the brush head, support of multiple brushes in a small space, and improved user accessibility to brushes.

The baseline system generally consists of an optional bottom mattress support (BMS) connected to a bottom mattress cover (BMC) that partially envelops a static mattress core (SMC) from the bottom. A top mattress cover (TMC) completes the encapsulation of the foam mattress core and is attached to the BMC using top/bottom mattress cover zippers (MCZ). Field adjustment of the mattress system is accomplished by inserting one or more mattress adjustment layers (MAL) between the top of the SMC and the TMC and inserting an adjustment border panel (ABP) via the MCZ between the TMC and the BMC. The MAL may comprise one or more layers and may be inserted using horizontally and/or split configurations to permit a variety of ergonomic combinations to be supported in a single mattress system.

The lower rim of the top portion and the upper rim of the bottom portion join together to form a leak-proof drinking vessel or cup of the wine glass. When separated, the top portion and bottom portion can be nested together. Additionally, a plurality of such wine glasses can be nested together, so that a large number of wine glasses can be packaged together for economical storage and shipping. The wine glass can be disposable and biodegradable or compostable, as examples.

Abstract: A universal cap and straw drinking system is provided having a cap portion that is designed to thread onto an existing and readily-available drinking vessel. The cap portion has a first hole that interference fits to a flexible tube and prevents the tube from being slid relative to the cap portion. The cap portion has a second hole that is adjacent to the first hole and allows make-up air to enter the drinking vessel to make up for liquid being removed from the vessel through the flexible tube. Abstract: A device for removing the liquid stored or contained within a food item. The device comprises a first half and second half that are coupled together via hinge. Disposed on the inner surfaces of the first and second halves are a plurality of protrusions, each of which comprise a sharpened tip and a scalloped indentation for aiding in the draining of the liquid from the food item. Once a food item is placed in the device, the two halves are brought together and squeezed which drives the protrusions into the food item. Liquid within the food item then seeps out of the food item, down the scalloped indentation of the protrusions, and then finally out of the nozzle tip of the device. Once the desired amount of liquid has been removed, the device is opened and the food item is lifted out of the device.

The upper and lower grinding plates are provided with blades having a modified diamond shape which provides extremely sharp leading edges regardless of which direction the grip assembly of the grinder housing is rotated. The lower plates are also provided with variations in the size, shape and arrangement of hole sizes through which the ground material is allowed to pass through. This construction provides the user with the ability to control his/her grind size mixture, which may be consistent sized grinds or a mixture of different sized grinds.
