Abstract: Many garments made of denim material have factory created one or more discontinuities exposing a group of parallel threads and referred to as “distressed denim”. Sometimes, some or all of these threads become torn or rips or tears occur in the denim garment to create a discontinuity. A patch to cover the discontinuity is made of a plurality of side by side threads attached to one side of an adhesive panel and fabric material is attached to the other side of the adhesive panel. A plurality of adhesive strips essentially circumscribing the discontinuity adhere the patch to the rear side of the denim material and expose the threads through the discontinuity.

The light-emitting system further includes at least one lens and a plurality of lighting elements coupled to the annular housing which are configured to selectively generate a halo or at least a partial halo of light that radiates outwardly away from the annular housing through the at least one lens to provide enhanced personal illumination.

Abstract: A boltless retention system for a protective headgear includes a ballistic helmet portion having an inner surface. A first substrate is boltlessly secured to the inner surface of the ballistic helmet portion and the retention system is boltlessly secured to the first substrate. The retention system includes attachment members, straps, and a nape pad. The attachment members each include a second substrate and a loop. A portion of each strap of the retention system extends through a loop of an attachment member to an adjustable locking member disposed on the strap. The nape pad is secured to a portion of at least two of the straps between the adjustable locking member and the loop. The second substrate of the attachment members are boltlessly secured to the first substrate of the helmet.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a physiological and neurological monitoring apparatus that monitors and satisfies the need for an improved buffer between the skull of a user and the impacting object so as to minimize the likelihood of neck and cranial injury. Further the helmet comprises a facemask for prevent concussions by absorbing the energy from an impact and redirecting the energy across the structure of the helmet shell. The embodiment comprises a helmet shell with elongated cheek guards and an elongated rear neck guard which follows the contour of the user's shoulder line and continues sufficiently below the head of said user to cover the rear neck of the user. These additions help prevent concussions by providing a larger surface of protection to especially weak areas that are prone to injury such as the rear of the neck and the lower jaw line.

Abstract: A hat retention device and ornamental jewelry apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a necklace and a leash formed of a material and design similar or complimentary to the ornamental design of the necklace. First and second connectors are carried on opposite ends of the leash and are selectively attachable to a hat worn on the head of a wearer and to the necklace. The leash functions to maintain the hat in close proximity to the wearer in the event that the hat is separated from the head of the wearer; providing an ornamental appearance complementary to the design of the necklace.

A corrugated upper paper layer may contact the skin directly and absorb and disperse perspiration. The footwear insert includes a planar member composed of a robust, flexible, antimicrobial material. The planar member includes a front toe portion having an appendage and an adhesive material for protecting a user's foot from slipping, sliding and other movements and preventing the development of calluses, corns and other such skin conditions on the user's foot. In one embodiment, the appendage includes opposing first and second flaps adapted to adhere to the sides of the front inside cavity of footwear, such as sandal straps and toe-boxes, for added protection from slippage and the like. In an alternate embodiment, the appendage includes a pocket-like structure adapted to unnoticeably adhere to the front inside cavity for added protection from slippage and the like.

A series of polyurethane film layers are adhered on top of the lowermost adhesive film layer. The shoe toe cap is abrasion and creep resistant and increases the life of the shoe.

Because of the curved orientation of the arcuate assembly base, the bristles are collectively oriented in an arcuate shape that creates an inner trapping area. In addition, the squared ends provide a flat end surface that allows the arcuate head broom apparatus to be used in corners and against straight walls.
