The brush is formed of an absorbent material, preferably foam. In one aspect, the brush is seated within a groove in the mandrel.

Abstract: A broom and dustpan combination, the broom and dustpan being connected by a flexible cord. A grip associated with a locking member slides up the hollow shaft of the broom and is capable of being secured in a locked position. The cord is at least partially disposed inside the hollow shaft of the broom and is connected at one end to the locking member and at the other end to the dustpan. The dustpan is configured to mate with the handle of the broom when the locking member is secured in the locked position. When the locking member is disengaged from the locked position, the dustpan is capable of being lowered to the ground where it is ready to collect dust or debris swept inside by the broom.

Abstract: A collapsible power-driven table stand includes a supporting body of an elongated shape, a first stand having a first driving member and a plurality of first extendable rods driven by the first driving member to move axially relative to each other and a second stand having a second driving member and a plurality of second extendable rods driven by the second driving member to move axially relative to each other. The first diving member is pivotally attached to one end of the supporting body and the second diving member is also pivotally attached to another end of the supporting body in order to allow both the first and second stands to extend/collapse relative to the supporting body. Accordingly, the assembly of the collapsible power-driven table is simplified and the overall size thereof is reduced.

Abstract: A folding utility table includes a table top having a pair of support pedestals pivotally attached. A first pivotal support brace includes a distal end and a proximal end attached to the first support pedestal. A second pivotal support brace includes a distal end and a proximal end attached to the second support pedestal. In addition, the support pedestals may comprise at least one support leg, and each support leg of the first and second support pedestals may be laterally offset from each other so as to permit an offset displacement of the support legs when the support pedestals are disposed in a collapsed position.

The height adjust setting control has user actuatable controls for enabling a user to set and store at least one elevational position for the work surface. The processor monitors movement of the work surface when the user is moving the work surface to a previously stored elevational position and generates a signal when the work surface reaches the stored elevational position.

The system comprises a slotted bracket adjustably attached to the face plate, a standoff assembly attached to the pantry pullout apparatus and slidably engaged with the slotted bracket, a fastener fixedly attached to the pantry pullout apparatus, and a set crew movable within the fastener and abutting the slotted bracket. A first embodiment of the standoff assembly includes a pair of standoffs and coordinating removable fasteners. Another embodiment of the standoff assembly includes a single standoff and fastener paired with a pin. The face plate is adjustable in three dimensions with respect to the pantry pullout apparatus and surrounding cabinets.

Abstract: Disclosed is a pantry pullout apparatus having side access and designed for simple, adjustable, and accurate installation within a pre-existing cabinet space. The apparatus, slidably mounted within the cabinet space, comprises a top slide assembly mounted to a cabinet carcass and a drawer box. The drawer box is automatically centered on a base slide box. The base slide box is comprised of a slotted template shdingly engaged with a frame, where the frame is mounted to the cabinet carcass. Slide rail assemblies connect the slotted template to the frame. A pin block on the underside of a fixed shelf of the drawer box automatically centers the drawer box on the slotted template. A face plate adjustment mechanism provides for three dimensional alignment of the face plate with surrounding cabinets.

Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus for protecting an infant or small child from injury in the event of unintentional impact with a hard edge or corner. The invention is a pliable guard which can bend around an edge, and adhere to a smooth hard surface via suction cups which are included and positioned periodically along the underside of the guard. The protective guard is comprised of a top surface, bottom surface, and a cushioned middle section which acts as the protective barrier against the edge or corner being covered. The invention is intended for use along the edges of a kitchen sink to protect a child from injury during bath time, or along any edge or corner that may pose a potential risk of injury upon impact to children or adults.

Abstract: A single direction gas permeable protective covering material for protecting solid stone surface countertop materials is provided. The protective covering material includes a core layer which is formed as an elongate thin sheet of material having uniform thickness. The protective covering material also includes an outer protective layer attached to a first side of the core layer and a dual layer adhesive system attached to a second side of the core layer. The protective covering material includes cone shaped pores therethrough that are gas permeable to allow for out-gassing of stone countertop materials. The protective covering material is designed to be permanently attached to a porous stone countertop material with the dual layer adhesive system to protect the countertop material from damage during daily use.

Abstract: A portable easel for allowing a user to conveniently transport art supplies and a drawing surface to various locations. The portable easel includes an easel board removably and pivotally secured to a tripod base, wherein one or more legs of the tripod base are independently adjustable in length so as to allow for the easel to be positioned on an uneven support surface, such as a hill. Further, the tripod base may be folded into a compact configuration to conveniently transport the easel. The easel board is secured to the tripod base by a ball and socket connection, wherein the easel board can rotate thereon to allow a user to draw, paint, and the like at various angles. In some embodiments, the easel board includes one or more lights thereon so as to illuminate the drawing surface and a storage band removably securable to the easel board that can hold art supplies therein.

Abstract: A booster seat apparatus mounted to a chair is provided. The booster seat apparatus may include a lift assembly with a seat pad. The chair may be a salon or barber chair and may include a chair base frame, a chair back substantially perpendicular to the chair base frame, and a foot rest extending downward from the chair base frame. The lift assembly includes an expanded position and a retracted position. The expanded position includes an increased distance between the seat pad and the chair base frame, and the retracted position includes a decreased distance between the seat pad and the chair base frame. Therefore, a child may be boosted upward on the chair without the need of an extra booster seat.

Abstract: A flexible suspension laminate is provided that includes a woven base of thermoplastic polyester elastomer filaments interwoven with spun polyester yarn filaments. A skin is bonded to the woven base and has an outer surface textured for contact with a user when the laminate is integrated into a seating system. The skin is formed of a polyisocyanate modified polyurethane, polyester, or poly-vinyl chloride to achieve a warp break strength of greater than 200 Newtons/centimeter and a fill break strength of greater than 200 Newtons/centimeter.

Abstract: A compact, portable prayer aid is provided for assisting worshippers with performing the mandatory Islamic prayers. The aid relieves pressure from the knees, legs, and ankles, by shifting weight away from the lower body and onto the lower back and buttocks. The aid includes a seat, a base, and at least one support structure. Said support structures are designed to form a built-in storage area for storing items during prayer. An alternate embodiment includes collapsible legs for easy transport. A second alternate embodiment includes shock absorbers, a compass for geographic directional support, and a sensor and a screen for counting and displaying the number of units performed. A third alternate embodiment includes foldable legs. A fourth alternate embodiment provides adjustable legs to accommodate for different heights and reduced knee flexion capabilities. A fifth alternate embodiment includes detachable, adjustable legs comprised of smaller sectional pieces.

Abstract: The mattress use of the two piece design and square configuration of mattress allows the mattress to be manually rotate and flipped between at least eight distinct mattress orientations, which reduce wear on the mattress and extends the life of the mattress. The mattress includes a square main section and a separate smaller rectangular foot section that are positioned together and orientated so that the main section supports the bulk of the user's weight while foot section typically only supports the user's feet. The main section can be rotated in 90 degree and flipped in 180 degree increments relative to foot section to provide eight distinct mattress orientations.

Abstract: An automatic inflatable cushion includes a cushion body, at least two airbags installed in the cushion body and capable of adjusting height and saturation independently, and an elastic member having fine pores filled in each airbag, and a manual switch valve installed on an outer surface of each airbag, so that when the manual switch valve is pressed towards the inside from both sides, the elastic member in the airbag is expanded and inflated naturally to improve the convenience of adjusting the height and saturation of the cushion.

Abstract: A refrigerated display unit having an open-fronted cabinet providing a product display space accessible through an access opening provided by the open front. Cooling means produces cold air to refrigerate items in the product display space. A cold air curtain is provided across the access opening using a forwardly-positioned discharge outlet communicating with a supply duct and a forwardly-positioned return inlet in communication with a return duct receiving air from the air curtain. The air curtain is substantially unsupported by the any supplementary cooling airflow supplied into the product display space separately from the air curtain.

Abstract: A display hanger is disclosed including a first and a second panel, at least one stress-relief member formed in one of the first or second panel, the stress-relief member having an inner surface that is secured to an inner surface of an opposing panel of the hanger, for example by an adhesive. The at least one stress-relief member moves stress away from the leading edge of the adhesive and more evenly distributes the stress across a wider area of the base of the display hanger. This results in the adhesive being under lower stress, which reduces adhesive failure in less than desirable situations since the display hanger material becomes the point on failure instead of the adhesive bond.

Abstract: An eyewear display assembly, according to various embodiments, comprises a base portion (e.g., a rectangular base portion), a marketing materials sheet, and an eyewear support portion (e.g., a rectangular eyewear support portion. In various embodiments, the eyewear support portion defines one or more eyewear support cutouts for providing lateral support to eyewear placed within the one or more eyewear support cutouts. The eyewear display assembly further comprises a suitable affixing mechanism, such as one or more magnets, for mounting the base portion adjacent the eyewear support portion while holding marketing material sheet between them. The base portion may be configured to support one or more pairs of eyewear as the one or more pairs of eyewear are disposed at least partially within the one or more eyewear support cutouts.

Abstract: A counter module system is provided, which may allow for partial or full self check-in by a passenger at a transportation facility, such as an airport. The system may comprise a counter module having multiple bays each for receiving an equipment module. An equipment module may be compatible for installation in some or all of the bays. Easy customization of equipment may be achieved by installing the desired equipment in an equipment module and then rolling the module into an open bay in the counter module. The modularity may also allow for easy access to equipment for maintenance or resupply. When a piece of equipment stops working, the module containing the equipment may be removed from the bay and either quickly repaired or replaced with another module. The system may also have features for providing proper alignment of an equipment module within a bay of the counter module.

The arm has a marking pin that projects generally perpendicular from a forward surface of the arm. The arm is coupled to the crossbar via the knuckle such that the arm is slidable along the pair of parallel sides of the projection in a second direction. The end cap is coupled to one of the two opposing ends of the crossbar. The end cap includes an “L” bracket that provides an engagement surface for engaging a corner of a second object previously hung on the wall.

Abstract: A fitted blanket for enclosing a human body comprises a generally curvilinear triangle shaped bag with a front side and a back side defining an interior enclosure, a top portion comprising two shoulder areas and a bottom portion comprising a foot area. A generally oval opening is defined in the back side and two openings are defined in the front side, The fitted blanket may include elastic edges along the perimeter of the oval opening to secure the blanket around the user. The blanket would be useful in a variety of contexts, including home, outdoor activities, school and in healthcare facilities.

Abstract: A mattress protector includes an upper layer, a lower layer, a side layer linking edges of the upper and lower layers, and a plurality of joint members. The side layer has a top periphery and a bottom periphery, which abut the upper and lower layers, respectively. Each joint member deployed around the side layer is spaced from the top periphery of the side layer by a distinct distance. A section of the side layer can be double folded in a height direction for development of a first folding portion and a second folding portion. The mattress protector is able to tightly wrap a mattress featuring a distinct thickness when the joint members join the side layer to fix the first and second folding portions of the side layer. The present invention further provides a method to wrap a mattress with the mattress protector.

The tab from the disc rotates in a first direction into the slot to affixes the disc to the transparent plate. Conversely, rotating the tab in a second direction out of the slot detaches the disc from the transparent plate. The L-shape of the slot helps retain the tab in the slot. The tab protrudes from the slot to provide a gripping surface for manipulating the tab.

Abstract: A compacting auger for ground coffee has an automatic cut off that responds to either timing signals or to the torque resistance to the augur offered by the coffee that has been compacted. The automation of the cut off increases the consistency of compaction and reduces the amount of skill required to compact ground coffee for making espresso.

The upper and lower rims are connected by at least two wires substantially identically shaped and bent with each wire being unitary and having a segment thereof attached to the upper rim and extending outwardly therefrom to form a handle element for the chafer wire stand. Each wire is attached to the lower rim and extends therefrom to form two supporting legs for the chafer wire stand.
