Abstract: A waste container cover and work surface device, for attachment to a receptacle, comprising: a table defining an upper side and an underside and a frame, said upper side of said table defining a working surface; and a plurality of support members each having a first end and a second end and being attached in endwise manner at said first end to said frame of said table and projecting away from said underside of said table. The present invention provides a work surface on which to place devices such as a cutting board, sheet pan or container; and a support surface, for holding tools, supplies, and the like, while providing convenient access to the waste container below.

Abstract: A food preparation table of the present invention includes a pan holder for accommodating pans; an insulated wall surrounding the pan holder; even number n of brackets fixed on the insulated wall; n/2 covers, each having a pair of first hinge axles and a pair of second hinge axles on opposite sides thereof, wherein the pair of first hinge axles and the pair of second hinge axles are slidably engaged with the brackets. The pair of first hinge axles and the pair of second hinge axles are inserted to a pair of plates attached to the opposite sides of the cover. Each of the brackets includes a slanted guide surface for guiding corresponding first hinge axle, wherein the pair of the first hinge axles are closer to a front portion of the cover than the second hinge axles.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a transfer type circuit board fabricating system including a conveyor device for transferring circuit boards in a predetermined transfer direction through a component placing device for placing electronic components on the circuit boards. The conveyor device includes a pair of conveying surfaces for conveying the circuit boards and a pair of board supports for supporting one of the circuit boards. Each board support extends between and is supported by the pair of conveying surfaces. A table having a surface is situated below both the pair of conveying surfaces and the pair of board supports. A pair of deflection shields extend from and at an acute angle with respect to the surface of the table to terminate at an edge. Each edge is flush with and adjacent to one of the conveying surfaces and is also beneath the pair of board supports.

Abstract: To enhance a lower-band sound with ease, but with almost no increase in volume and weight, a mounting table provided with a speaker is provided. This speaker-provided mounting table comprises a pedestal, a hollow-shaped support member for supporting the pedestal, and a speaker unit being equipped with the speaker and being attached on the support member. The support member is configured to function as an acoustic pipe or an acoustic capacity as well as supporting the pedestal.

Abstract: A display unit is adapted to be mounted to a holiday tree. The display unit comprises a plurality of table tops, each of the table tops having an outer diameter which generally conforms to the cross sectional outer diameter of the holiday tree at differing heights. In addition, each of the table tops has a cutout where the trunk of a holiday tree extends through. Further, each of the table tops is divided into two portions along a join line extending through the cutout. The table tops are supported by legs extending between adjoining table tops and between the bottommost of the plurality of table tops and the ground.

Abstract: A magnetic decorative cover for metal office furniture. The cover is a lamination of a decorative layer to a magnetic sheet. The decorative layer is selected from a wide variety of materials to provide a desired appearance, to coordinate an office decor, or to blend office furniture together. Suitable decorative materials include fabric, vinyl, leather, wood veneer, marker-board surface, and high-pressure laminate. In the preferred manufacturing method, the laminated materials are laser cut and/or die cut to provide crisp, sharp, non-raveling edges.

Abstract: In the case of a receiving table for container processing machines having a table top (3) which stands on feet (2) and has transport elements (T) for the containers arranged on it, the table top consists of an inclined top plate (3a) and a bottom plate (3b) which is rigidly connected to the former and together with it forms a cavity (4). The top side of the table top (3) is provided with a water-repellant coating. This greatly facilitates runoff of liquids and cleaning of the tablet plate, and yields a stable, lightweight and inexpensive construction.

Abstract: A combined portable, collapsible, picnic table. The picnic table includes two similar table top portions hinged together for movement from a co-planar relationship in which they provide the normal table top, to a folded relationship in which the undersides of the portions lie parallel and spaced apart to provide a storage space. The portions each have one rectangular support, which may be hingedly attached so as to be foldable against the undersides of the table top portions and fit within the space between these portions when folded. These rectangular supports allow the table top to be supported horizontally at a relatively low height. An additional support having four legs which can be releasably attached to the underside of the table is provided, the additional support supporting the top portion at a height substantially higher than the rectangular support.

Abstract: A freestanding companion system with an organizational base, table, connecting, holding and adjusting mechanisms for use beside any seating or reclining furniture is disclosed. The base provides ballast for attachments, including a table, and provides areas for storing desired supplies. The connecting devices and mechanisms allow positioning of a table and other attachments in relation to the base and to the seating/reclining furniture. The table has the following adjustment features: it slides from left to right; it is adjustable closer or further away from the user; it is tiltable, past perpendicular; it swivels/rotates about its vertical support; and it is adjustable in height. Accessories can be added to the freestanding companion system at the base, table, and to the upright supports.

Abstract: The current invention provides a user-interface support device comprising a support member having a first side adapted to contact a user-interface device and a pad connected to a second side of the support member opposite the first side, wherein the pad is configured to conform to an external object. The external object can be the user's lap. The user may interface with the user-interface support device or the user-interface device which is supported by the user-interface support device. The pad, by conforming to an external object, produces increased connected surface area between the pad and the external object. This increased connection area results in increased friction which further increases the stability of the user-interface support device. This process is further enhanced when the external object comprises protuberances.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a shelf adapter for attachment to a conventional towel rack for use in a bathroom, shower stall, or the like. The present invention comprises a pair of parallel generally horizontal members having a female and male telescoping attachment means mounted onto a pair of leg-like mounts which are fastened around the towel rack so as to be removably, fixedly attached to the towel rack. The purpose of the telescoping members is to allow the shelf to be removably, fixedly attached to towels racks of various sizes wherein the telescoping members can be adjusted to fit towel racks of varying lengths. Furthermore, the parallel members have indentions or cutouts disposed therein which form semi-circular cutouts for receiving bottles or bottle necks of various bottled bath condiments which the user might use. The bottles are mounted upside down into the semi-circular cutouts in order to always have the liquid contained in the bottle disposed near the outlet end of the bottle.

Abstract: A laboratory station has a sink area and a work area separated by a shield. A computer monitor station is present in the work area having a first and second position. In the first position, the computer monitor is located below the top surface of the laboratory table top. In the second position at least a portion of the computer monitor is located above the table top. The shield is preferably transparent to allow vision there through while preventing water from leaving the sink area and potentially entering the work area.

Abstract: A desk arrangement is provided which includes freestanding furniture units, namely, a stationary cabinet and a movable table. While the movable table is movable relative to the cabinet, the cabinet and table are connected together by an intermediate link top which permits relative movement therebetween but interconnects the cabinet and table to define a single interconnected furniture unit. The link top is both slidable and pivotable relative to the cabinet and table to permit sliding and pivoting of the table between a closed position directly adjacent to the cabinet and an open position spaced outwardly therefrom. The link top can define an auxiliary worksurface and also defines a bridge between the cabinet and table to which cabling can be connected. This arrangement thereby permits flexible repositioning of the table while also permitting power and/or communications cabling to be routed therebetween.

Abstract: A convenience shelf assembly for a wall having a holder mounted in a framework recessed in the wall. The holder is of a kind having a peripheral rim flush with the wall and attached to the framework with at least one threaded fastener. The convenience shelf assembly includes a shelf, a pair of spaced apart brackets attached to the shelf and a back wall having top, bottom and side edges. The side edges are connected to the brackets and the top edge is connected to the shelf. The back wall is wider along the top edge than the peripheral rim and has a thickness not substantially greater and preferably equal to or less than the thickness of the rim. The back wall has at least one slot dividing the back wall into sections, each of the slots opening from the bottom edge. The sections are adapted to straddle a portion of the holder recessed into the wall to prevent sideways tilting of the shelf assembly.

Abstract: An airline service tray assembly includes a service tray having a top surface and a bottom surface and brackets adapted to allow the service tray to move between an upright position wherein the top and bottom surfaces generally vertical and a down position wherein the top and bottom surfaces are generally horizontal. The service tray has a cavity sized and shaped for receiving an advertisement sheet therein and is adapted such that the advertisement sheet located within the cavity is at least partially viewable from the exterior of the service of the service tray. The cavity is preferably provided with a window through which the advertising sheet within the cavity can be at least partially viewed. The window is preferably located at the bottom surface so that the advertising sheet can be at least partially viewed when the service tray is in the upright position.

Abstract: A portable table including a vertically adjustable upright support, a worksurface connected to the upright support and a one-way locking apparatus engagable with the upright support for locking the upright support in a vertically adjustable position. While the one-way locking apparatus is engaged, the upright support is only upwardly vertically adjustable. The one-way locking apparatus disengages from the upright support when the upright support is fully extended and reengages with the upright support when the upright support is lowered to a lowest vertical position.

Abstract: A table construction and method is provided having an internal opening that selectively accommodates a floor lamp or torchier and allows the insertion and removal of the lamp from the opening in a horizontal plane without disassembling the lamp and without requiring the component pieces of the table to be completely separated.

Abstract: An article wrapping table assembly for facilitating the article wrapping process. The article wrapping table assembly includes a table that has a substantially planar upper surface, a plurality of table legs, a pair of extension portions and a cutting assembly. The extension portions are positioned adjacent to the upper surface of the table. Each extension portion has a cutout portion. The cutout portions are aligned with each other and designed to rotatably hold a roll of wrapping material. The cutting assembly is slidably engaged in a slot that runs across the upper surface of the table. The cutting assembly is used for cutting a selected amount of wrapping material that has been unrolled onto the upper surface of the table.

Abstract: A postal workstation for high volume computerized printing of labels, cards, an the like comprises a main support surface including a front portion and a rear portion, wherein the front portion includes an open cut-out region for a person to stand within to comfortably reach the rear portion, which is intended to support primary and secondary printers and a monitor mount. A worksurface pivotally connected to the support surface adjacent a lateral side of the cut-out region is movable between a working position wherein the worksurface covers the cut-out region and provides area for a keyboard and mouse, and a servicing position wherein said cut-out region is exposed for facilitating worcer access to the rear portion of the main support surface for printer maintenance. A storage compartment adjacent an opposite lateral side of the cut-out region has an upwardly facing compartment opening covered by the worksurface when the worksurface is in a working position.

Abstract: A screen for use in a work environment providing a generally planar surface is disclosed. The screen includes a frame providing an outer perimeter tending to a first shape. The screen further includes a web at least partially circumscribed by the frame and having a shape at least partially defined by the shape of the outer perimeter of the frame. The screen also includes a mounting assembly configured to attach the frame to the surface.

Abstract: A table is disclosed for use in connection with a machine unit such as a multi-head embroidery machine. The table surface is slidably mounted to a slide unit mounted on a sub frame that is vertically movable between an upper position where the table can support a flat work piece to be sewn at the head of the machine, and a lower position where tubular pieces can be freely hand sewn freely from the machine head. The table is moved between the upper and lower positions by hydraulic cylinders that raise and lower the sub frame unit. The table can also be retracted into the main frame of the machine unit by means of a slide unit attached between the table and the sub frame.
