Therefore, the resilient washer provides not only the torsion but also the positioning function so that the simplified hinge has a simplified structure and its volume is effectively reduced.

Abstract: A hinge assembly having a hollow clutch is arranged to pivotally couple a portable computer base portion to a portable computer lid portion. The hinge assembly includes at least a hollow cylindrical portion that includes an annular outer region and a central bore region, the central bore region suitably arranged to provide support for electrical conductors between the base and lid portions. Abstract: A level assembly hood hinge unit includes a side outer panel having a space between an upper panel and a lower panel in which a hood hinge may be disposed, and a stud bolt provided on the lower panel, a hinge bracket which may be configured for assembly engagement while it laterally moves along the lower panel towards the space of the side outer panel, and which may be provided with an assembly portion, positioned in the space of the side outer panel, at an upper portion of the hinge bracket and an insertion groove at a rear portion of the hinge bracket, in which the stud bolt may be inserted for stopping movement of the hinge bracket, and/or a hinge arm which may be to be assembled with the hinge bracket in the assembly portion by a hinge pin, and which may be provided with a hood combining portion to which a hood panel may be mounted at an end portion thereof.
Abstract: A hinge includes a rack, a shaft, a bracket, a number of elements, and a fastener. The shaft includes a rectangular-shaped post and a rectangular-shaped engaging portion secured to the rack. The bracket defines a pivot hole for rotatably receiving the post of the shaft. The number of elements is unrotatably arranged around the rectangular-shaped post of the shaft. The fastener is screwed on a distal end of the post to limit the bracket and the number of elements on the shaft.
Abstract: A hinge includes a first shaft, a second shaft, a first bracket, and a second bracket. The first shaft is perpendicularly mounted to the second shaft. The second shaft includes an end face, which defines a recess and two positioning holes. The recess defines two barrier sides. The first bracket is pivotally mounted to the first shaft. The second bracket is pivotally mounted to the second shaft. The second bracket includes a guiding piece which slides in the recess when the second bracket rotates about the second shaft. The second bracket is rotatable about the second shaft between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the guiding piece abuts one barrier side, and the protrusion is located in one positioning hole. In the second position, the guiding piece abuts the other barrier side, and the protrusion is located in the other positioning hole.

Abstract: A hinge structure with locking feature is connected to a first body of an electronic device through a support frame. A pivot portion of the hinge structure is connected to a second body of the electronic device and includes a rotating shaft connected to the support frame, such that the first body is capable of rotating relative to the second body.
