The inner tube and the outer tube slide with respect to one another to adjust an overall length when the cam-lock assembly is in a released position, and rotation of one of the inner tube and the outer tube engages the cam-lock assembly such that the inner tube and the outer tube are fixed at a particular length.

Abstract: A shelving system can include can include an elongated support member and a plurality of shelves, each of which can be supported by a clamping mechanism. The support member can have a telescoping configuration so that upper and lower ends of the support member can be pressed against upper and lower stationary objects.

Abstract: A display module for sheet goods is provided that uses a spline having a spline base and a sample attachment section defined by a recess along one side of the spline base. The depth of the recess is approximately equal to a thickness of the sample material. The sample attachment section has a reduced thickness in comparison to the spline base, and two slots are defined in the spline base on a side opposite to the sample attachment area. The slots have a first slot portion that extends inwardly from the side of the spline base and a second slot portion that extends generally perpendicular to an end of the first portion, and an enlarged slot end portion is located at an end of the second slot portion. A rack is provided having two generally parallel rods which are spaced apart by a same distance as a spacing between the slots in the spline. The rods are adapted to be received in the slots.

Abstract: An object substantially extending in one plane, but possibly being cup or dish-shaped, which object can be placed in a dishwasher. The object includes a circumferential edge including one or more openings and a holding mechanism arranged for holding textile material. Once the textile material is fixed therein, it is spread over the surface of the object. The wash water circulates in the dishwasher and subsequently the relatively cleaner rinse water can wash one flat side of the material to be cleaned via the openings in the object, while the water directly reaches the other flat side. Via the openings, moisture can evaporate from the damp material, so that the material can dry more easily.

Abstract: A drying rack having a wrap-around cover includes a support frame having at least one support member, an upper shelf, an intermediate shelf and a lower shelf. The shelves are spaced apart from each other and provide a stacked surface area for drying clothes, linens, garments and other textiles. The drying rack further includes a wrap-around cover that attaches to the upper shelf and extends towards the lower shelf. The cover may be fabricated from a heat absorptive material and may further include graphical designs for visual appeal.

Abstract: A modular rack system for displaying flat articles. In one aspect, the invention comprises: a plurality of racks, each rack comprising: a floor for supporting a flat article, the floor having a front, a rear and lateral sides; a front retaining portion extending upward from the floor at the front of the floor; first and second lateral retaining portions extending upward from the floor along the lateral sides of the floor; at least two support members extending from the rear of the floor that engage a vertical wall and support the rack in a cantilevered manner and oriented so that the floor slopes downward and away from the vertical wall; and the racks mounted to the vertical wall in a stacked assembly so that an upper rack in the stacked assembly rests atop the first and second lateral retaining portions of a lower adjacent rack in the stacked assembly.

Abstract: A holder for sheetlike objects is attachable to vertical surfaces such as walls, shower doors and frames, and cabinet faces. Formed into a spiral holder and planar base using a length of spring steel, the holder receives the sheetlike object within a receiving passageway formed between inner and outer spiral bands. A biasing of the inner spiral band against the outer spiral band selectively secures the sheetlike object within the receiving passageway, such biasing enhanced by a biasing surface formed at a terminus of the inner spiral band. Release is initiated by application of a tugging force to the sheetlike object, the tug directed downwardly and along the central vertical axis of the holder. The combined downward and lateral movement thus initiated permits the withdrawal of the inserted sheetlike object from within the receiving passageway.

Abstract: A bath curtain rack includes a wall seat, a protective lid, and at least one support rack. The wall seat includes a base and at least one socket. The base is formed with locking holes for insertion of screws to secure the wall seat on a wall. The protective lid is formed with a through hole for insertion of the socket. The protective lid is adapted to cover the base with engaging blocks to engage with engaging notches formed at two side flanges of the base. The support rack is bent into an arch bridge shape or an arch shape. Both ends of the support rack are inserted in relative sockets with bolts to tighten the support rack. The present invention provides a larger space when in use.

Abstract: A tray construction for supporting papers, folders, files, or smaller articles such as vouchers and ticket books comprises modules of a plurality of identical trays adjoined or formed integrally with one another with each tray being supported in height at a slightly different elevation than the adjoining tray so that when the module is self-supported on a horizontal flat surface, the trays are inclined at an angle with respect to the supporting surface rather than standing upright. This prevents paper supported in the tray from bending or collapsing upon itself as it might if the trays were supported vertically and allows easy access to the trays or compartments of the trays which may be created by spacing elements. A number of the modules may be joined together either front to back or vertically. The modules may also be hung on a wall in an inclined attitude.

Abstract: A paper holder has a holding piece made of an elastic material such as synthetic rubber provided with a fixed portion in a flat-plate-like shape and a holding portion integrally formed with the fixed portion at a connection top portion having a joint portion with a long and thin cross section in a direction orthogonal to the insertion direction of papers. The papers are clipped between a holding end portion located on the other side of the connection top portion and a case by return force of the holding portion that rotates with the connection top portion as a fulcrum. An attached elastic auxiliary member adds the return force by regulating the movement of the holding portion.

Abstract: A door-supported storage device provides stable and readily reconfigurable storage units along a door or other substantially vertical surface to which rails may be mounted. The rails may be of an aesthetically pleasing design, in which coupling or mounting features are substantially hidden from view. Optionally, the rails are multi-piece rails. By positioning brackets at both upper and lower end portions of the rails, the rails are stably supported at the door, even during opening and closing of the door. Storage units adapted for mounting to the rails may include, for example, a paper-storage shelf, a hanger support, a basket shelf, a storage shelf for loose articles, a rolled paper retainer, a slanted storage shelf, a closable storage bin, a shoe rack, and a storage bin having at least one wall made up of a plurality of elastic cords.

In some aspects, the at least one hanger element is flexible. In some aspects, the at least one hanger element is wire. Abstract: Particular embodiments of a display fixture for displaying sheet products to consumers can include first and second frame members that are toollessly and removably mounted to a rear support frame, wherein the first frame member includes horizontal trays and the second frame member includes vertical bays. The display fixture may also include a first set of vertical bays that are arranged lateral of the horizontal trays and angled away from the horizontal trays at a first angle. The display fixture may further include a second set of vertical bays that are arranged lateral of the horizontal trays and angled away from the horizontal trays at a second angle that is different from the first angle.

Abstract: A hanger for suspending multiple articles, such as automotive floor mats, is injection-molded in one piece from a suitable polymer. The hanger has at least four stationary article gripping members and four mobile article gripping members which are fastenable to respective ones of the stationary gripping members. Article-supporting fingers of the stationary gripping members extend horizontally away from the hanger body, two in one direction and two in another. The stationary gripping members are arranged in pairs, with one member in a pair extending in one direction, and the other member of the pair extending in an opposite direction. In one embodiment, a shared structural plate makes up a portion of the “C” channel for each gripping member in the pair.

Abstract: A display apparatus can include a substantially self-supporting panel adapted to be erected and used without the use of a support frame. In one embodiment, a frameless display fixture includes first and second panels fastened to one another proximal their upper edges, recesses adapted to receive retail merchandise integrally formed along a front side of the panel, and mating portions proximal their lower edge which interlock with a substantially rigid base unit such that the lower edges of the panels are held a fixed distance from one another. The first and second panels may be substantially mutually self-supporting so as to form a frameless display fixture.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a cloth rail and in particular to a cloth rail that can be attached to a wall without use of tools. It includes a carrier part adapted to carry a cloth, such as a dishcloth. It further comprises at least one pair of magnets of which a first magnet is connected to the carrier part and a second magnet is separate and adapted to attract the first magnet. The cloth rail typically further comprises at least one connecting part forming a connection between the first magnet(s) and the carrier part.

Abstract: A method of displaying merchandise which creates a more user friendly display that facilitates quicker and easier shopping for a consumer includes an arrangement of gift wrapping items in a section of a display fixture initially by size. The section includes a first display section for displaying items of a first average size, a second display section for displaying items of a second average size and a third display section for displaying items of a third average size. The display sections are adjacent one another and do not contain items that do not fall within the general size of the average display size. This arrangement by size quickly directs the consumer to a small subset of merchandise being displayed in a section that would meet the consumer's needs. A total number of price points may be reduced to at least partially correspond with the display sections. Sections may also be configured so that only items of a particular color and theme are displayed therein such that each section has an overall hue.

A notch is disposed on an edge of each mat board corner sample. The notch is located along the edge of the mat board corner sample at a predetermined location according to the properties of the mat board corner sample. Thus, the location of the notch correlates to the properties of the mat board corner samples. The mat board corner samples can be arranged in groups, and the mat board corner samples in each group have a common property. The notches on the mat board corner samples in each group are located at the same location. Thus, the mat board corner samples can be maintained in organized groups by grouping together mat board corner samples that have notches at the same location.

Segments of the wire divider members rest on a top surface of the side rail members when the wire divider member is in a rearwardly-inclined or forwardly-inclined position. The side rail members are provided with lateral extensions having ridges that secure the wire divider members in a vertical position by impeding the wire divider member from pivoting to inclined positions. The impedence of the ridges may be overcome with a deliberate application of force to the wire divider member.

In the central of the two plates a vertical shaft is mounted. The supporting plate and the vertical shaft are rotatable in relation to the bottom plate. The filing in the holder is done by placing the object to be filed into for example pockets of clear plastic, which is kept by the binder mechanism from the ring binders, which is assembled on the vertical and rotatable placed shaft.

Abstract: A hanger is injection-molded in one piece from a suitable polymer. At each of a plurality of gripping locations, a stationary gripping member and a mobile gripping member are provided, each of which preferably terminate in inwardly directed article supporting fingers. For each pair of gripping members, a fastening arm is provided on one of the members while a channel is provided in the other of the gripping members. A pawl engages with an array of teeth to fasten the gripping members together and to secure e.g. a pair of vehicle floor mats therebetween.

The cross bar serves as a rug suspension bar. Another embodiment has arched brackets extending outward from each end of the cross bar with a rug suspension bar attached between the arched brackets so as to space the rug suspension bar from the cross bar. In an augmented version, a book holder for the QURAN is provided on the upper end portion of the vertical post on the side opposite the arched brackets and rug suspension bar. The book holder is supported at an angle to retain the book in the holder when the book is not in use. The book may be opened to a desired page while remaining stable supported by the book holder or support.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for the display of a tagging item, such as an advertising leaflet, or the like, on a shelf of a selling surface. The tagging item is presented vertically and notably protrudes externally and at a right angle from the front of the shelf. The device includes at least one supporting wing fitted with a mount cooperative with orifices of the shelf. The supporting wing has a holder for the tagging item. The mount includes a foot slaved to the lower end of the supporting wing and fitted with a rear rod. The rod runs through one orifice in order to protrude downwards, below the shelf, when the foot rests on the upper surface of the shelf. A removable counter-rest sleeve includes a planar extension cooperative with the lower surface of the shelf the sleeve has a mechanism for engaging into/disengaging from the rear rod.

Abstract: A display stand has a pair of vertical standards connected by two tie members having ends vertically spaced from each other. Horizontal feet coupled to a lower end of the vertical standards project forward from the vertical standards. Two buttress rods having a lower end coupled to a projecting portion of the feet and an upper end coupled to one of the vertical standards. At least one generally horizontal display rod includes depending hooks adapted to receive goods to be displayed. Signage panels can be fixed between each of the buttress rods and the adjacent vertical standard as well as above and below the upper tie member to attract customers to the displayed goods.

Abstract: A display apparatus can include a substantially self-supporting panel adapted to be erected and used without the use of a support frame. Abstract: A wearable book. A wearable book, comprising a plurality of pages and a loop adapted for encircling a body portion for attaching said pages to the body, is provided. The pages are preferably bound together at one edge and preferably are of substantially the same size. The loop preferably has at least about 50% elasticity for stretching the loop over a second body portion such as a hand having a substantially larger circumference than a first body portion such as a wrist, and thereafter snugly circumferentially contacting the first body portion to secure the book in place.

Abstract: A carrier for supporting graphic media materials includes a support member having a plurality of parallel transverse slots disposed on a facing surface thereof and a plurality of thin walled transverse strip members. Each of the transverse strip members are made from a flexible material and include an angled tab portion sized to be fitted into a corresponding slot of the support member and a cover portion that is defined by a width dimension that is larger than the spacing between adjacently spaced slots such that the cover portions are arranged on the support member in overlaying fashion and define transparent storage pockets therebetween for retaining graphic media materials.

The pre-cut samples are sized to be substantially smaller than the display samples, and each of the containers is secured to the at least one panel in front of a pre-selected portion of one of the display samples so that a significant portion of the display sample is exposed for visual and tactile examination. The display stand may include four upstanding members which are arranged at approximately ninety-degree intervals about a notional central axis and which project outwardly from that axis, and which each have at least two substantially oppositely faced mounting surfaces on which wallpaper samples may be displayed.

Abstract: An apparatus for displaying samples of window coverings including a base having a front and a rear and at least one suction cup mounted on the rear of the base and adapted to releasably engage a flat surface. The base includes at least one support. The support is adapted to releasably receive and hold a first fabric sample and a second fabric sample, such that the samples are suspended substantially parallel to the flat surface. The second fabric sample is positioned at a greater distance from the flat surface than the first fabric sample, to define a space between the first and second fabric samples.

Abstract: A card mounting and display device for mounting and displaying a plurality of cards in any desired configuration. The device includes a fabric base having an array grid netting loosely attached to a first side thereof. The array grid netting is arranged to receive fasteners for attaching the plurality of cards to the array grid netting in any desired configuration. A pocket is arranged on the base for storing the fasteners. The device can be rolled-up or folded for ease of storage.

Abstract: A rug display system includes a base having a plurality of upwardly extending posts and a frame comprising a front, top and rear section. At least a portion of the frame is configured to be rotatably mounted on a post of the base. The rug display system can further include a front support member attached to the frame adjacent to the front section and configured to movably support the frame on a display surface in use. A rug clip for use in a rug display system includes a channel-shaped bracket including a top leg, a bottom leg, and a connecting member. The connecting member biases the top leg toward the bottom leg. Packaging systems are disclosed for shipping the rug display system of the invention either partially assembled or disassembled.

Abstract: A desk top or vertical surface storage rack for small items. The rack includes a rectangular, U-shaped base having a pair of outwardly extending legs separated by an upwardly opening transversely extending slot. An outwardly opening strip receiving slit is formed in each of the outwardly extending legs and a wider strip receiving slit is formed in the bottom of the slot. Each base includes a pair of retainer loops formed of a strip of a tough, resilient, abrasive-resistant resin. Each retainer loop has a bight portion positioned outwardly of the outwardly extending legs of the U-shaped base and has two legs extending from the bight portion. One of the legs of the strip has its distal end positioned in the strip receiving slit of one of the base upstanding legs and the other of the legs of each loop is positioned in the wider receiving slit in the bottom of the slot.
