  • Patent number: 5107994
Abstract: A holder for positioning and displaying charts. The holder comprises a hand-holdable board member, the board member defining at least one and preferably a plurality of generally parallel slot pairs extending therethrough. The slot pairs may be defined by separate slots, or alternatively one or more rollers carried in an aperture formed in the board member to define the respective slots of a pair between opposed roller sides and the wall of the aperture. Accordingly, an individual paper chart can be placed to extend through individual slots of a pair, being wrapped about the roller if present, to place a portion of the chart on one side of the board member with the remainder of the chart positioned in the slots and on the other side of the board member. By this means, several charts may be carried in one hand in a regular array, and portions of the charts may be presented for view, while the remainder of the charts is out of the way, but available for such viewing.

  • Patent number: 5083663
Abstract: A foldable display box is made from a blank so that it may be shipped flat and assembled at its point of use. The blank includes a back panel, a bottom panel and a front panel hinged together along two fold lines. A pair of side panels extends from opposite edges of the front panel. The side panels each carry a flange which extends normal to the major plane of the sides and a pair of hook-shaped detent projections face the flange. Openings are formed in the back panel which receive the detent projection. The back panel is thus captured between the flange and the detent projection, holding the display box firmly assembled. An easel panel is formed to fold out of the back and bottom panels to support the display stand on a flat surface. The easel panel is divided into two portions by a hinge or fold line, with one portion forming an upstanding leg and the other portion being connectable to the bottom of the back panel.

The surfaces form a limit stop, forming part of two legs with an interspace betweem them, into which the locking end of the locking arm projects in the securing position. The legs have at least one stop surface limiting the pivoting movement of the locking arm.

  • Patent number: 4762689
Abstract: A mounting frame for a block-type parallel mounting of catalyst plates is provided. The block mounting has frame members separated by a distance substantially corresponding to the width of the catalyst plates to be mounted. The frame members are provided with a series of guide slots open on top for admission of the catalyst plates. On the bottom edges of the frame members, there are provided base supports for the bottom edges of the catalyst plates. The frame members themselves also form lateral supports for the catalyst plates to prevent movement thereof when mounted in the module. The mounting modules, once loaded with the planar elements, can be combined into a larger frame in a horizontal mode, or they can be vertically stacked, such as in the flue of a combustion furnace itself. The plates are typically pre-coated with a material that is catalytic to further the conversion of the gaseous compounds passing thereby.
