Abstract: An airtight recycling barrel for bulk chemicals includes upper barrel and lower barrel fitted respectively with connecting circles by welding on their peripheries. An O-shaped seal ring is placed at the butt-joint of two barrels. For the lower barrel, an O-ring seal groove is turned out on the connecting circle, an eyelet bolt junction piece is welded to the outer wall of the connecting circle, and the junction piece is fitted with wrist and linchpin. For the upper barrel, a junction piece is also welded to the reinforced plate on the periphery. When these two barrels are butted mouth to mouth for use, they are fixed firmly with eyelet bolt that goes through press plate, and sealed with O-ring. Thus this invention possesses advantages of recycling use, saving of much steel material, convenience of loading and unloading. It is especially suitable for packing and transportation of bulk chemicals.

Abstract: A sanitary glove container assembly and a method for its use that permits the storage of sanitary gloves. The assembly comprises two rounded, hollow members with threaded openings, and the members are joined by a securing mechanism. The area of the openings is smaller than the cross sectional area of the hollow members such that gloves will not fall out inadvertently. The user may individually encapsulate one glove in each hollow member in a manner in order to allow for easy access to the gloves, allow for easy loading of the device, prevent tangling of the gloves, and ensure cleanliness of the glove before use.

Abstract: An actuating drive (1) has a housing (4) which also affords protection from splashed water and which comprises two housing portions (5; 6), wherein the two housing portions (5; 6) each have an edge (20; 40) with a respective end face (21; 41) which are disposed in opposite relationship when the housing portions are assembled. When the two housing portions (5; 6) are assembled zones which act in different ways are formed between the two end faces (21; 41). A first zone (Z1) in which the two housing portions (5; 6) are in contact with each other is provided on the housing (4) towards the exterior. A second zone (Z2) having a passage (55) is provided beside the first zone (Z1), towards the interior. The passage (55) of the second zone (Z2) is closed towards an internal space (33) of the housing by a third zone (Z3) in which the two housing portions (5; 6) are not in contact with each other.

The article dispensing container includes a dispensing container for dispensing articles, the receptacle comprises a lower portion which has a cavity and an upper opening, and an upper lid portion which is pivotally coupled to the lower portion adjacent to the upper opening of the receptacle.

Abstract: A plastic container comprising two half-shells which are produced by means of injection molding and have parts of the components integrally formed on them during the injection molding. This does away with the need for fastening said components in the plastic container, with the result that the installation process is simplified to a considerable extent. At the same time, installation errors are largely ruled out. The plastic container is suitable for use in motor vehicles, preferably as a fuel tank.

Abstract: A fluid tank assembly comprises a first tank half having an upper edge flange with an expanded section or ledge extending outwards. A second mating tank half similarly has a lower edge flange and extending ledge. Both ledges have apertures, with lower ledge aperture having a smaller diameter than the upper ledge aperture. The second aperture has a raised edge or lip, so that an annular groove is formed between the lip and the inner edge of the upper aperture when the surfaces of the mating flanges and ledges are in contact and the apertures are coaxial. The two flange and ledge surfaces are normally welded or otherwise secured together. A binding material is added to the annular groove to substantially fill its volume so that a sealing connection is created. This sealing connection near the bolt aperture overcomes the sealing problem that is normally present in this region, and therefore extends the service life of the tank.

Abstract: A slider opens or closes an elongate, rigid reclosable fastener sealing a lid to the flange of a container where the fastener lies in a plane defining mutually orthogonal directions. The slider is slidably movable and attachable to a track disposed along the fastener defining a travel path having vector components in each of the orthogonal directions. The slider biases interlocking elements of the reclosable fastener operatively associated therewith into engagement with one another as the slider moves in a first direction and separates interlocking elements as the slider moves in a second direction opposite the first.

Abstract: A container for storage of items during watersports is described, having a base (10) affixed to the watersports equipment such as a surfboard or diver's gas tank and a body forming a waterproof enclosure detachably secured to the base. The top cover (14) of the body has tabs (44) which are retained under projections (22) of the base such that the bottom tray (12) and top cover of the body cannot be unsealed without disengaging the body from the base. The top surface (40) of the cover forms a ramp engageable by the foot of the surf rider and may have grip material attached thereto.

Abstract: A shock-resistant and environmentally sealed container with pressure equalization is provided. A latch is pivotally coupled to the container and has an open position and a closed position. An air passageway is provided that permits air to pass between the interior of the container and the surrounding atmosphere. Several different elements are disclosed that are positioned in the air passageway. These elements are designed to cooperate with the latch so that when the latch is in the closed position, the element seals the air passageway and when the latch is in the open position, air is allowed to pass through the air passageway and equalize any air pressure differentials.

Abstract: In a clamshell housing, such as is used for portable devices, engaging elements other than screws or hooks are employed to prevent the two halves of a clamshell housing from having significant slippage between them along the interface at which they meet when the clamshell is subjected to bending and/or torsional moments. Such engaging elements may include slip preventing elements at the clamshell halves interface, e.g., various forms of interlocking teeth, elements that increase friction, or the like, which are added to, or molded into, each half of the housing. Abstract: The invention relates to a housing for electronic units having printed circuit boards and heat sinks attached to said printed circuit boards. The housing comprises side walls formed by a first and a second u-shaped-section each having a central portion and a first and a second side cheek extending perpendicularly to the central portion. The u-shaped-sections extend into each other with clearance along longitudinal edges of the side cheeks. The central portions of the u-shaped-sections are connected to opposite end faces of the heat sinks. This results in an inexpensive construction with stability in dimensions. The heat transmission between the heat sinks and the housing is good.

Abstract: An enclosure for containment of chemical distribution lines and methods for installation and modification of devices installed along such chemical distribution lines are provided. The enclosure contains two or more separable portions. Openings within the enclosure through which the chemical distribution lines or conduits extend are formed along a boundary between two separable portions. Devices, such as valves, regulators, gauges and filters may be installed along a conduit before the enclosure is formed around the portion of the conduit containing the installed devices. The enclosure may therefore be made smaller, because excess working room within the enclosure is not needed. Installed devices may be modified by removing portions of the enclosure to expose the relevant devices. The conduit portion containing the devices may be removed for device modification, before re-assembly of the enclosure around the conduit portion.

Abstract: A holder for use in disposable feeding systems includes a body which is made from two straight pieces or sections capable of being arranged in an abutting, end-to-end relationship in which they assume a non-coaxial arrangement that results in an angular body shape designed, for instance, to promote infant feeding in a semi-upright position. From this feeding position, the body sections of a transformable embodiment can be moved to a filling position, in which they are arranged coaxially to form a straight body shape that facilitates the insertion and/or filling of a disposable liner, preferably via movement of a friction fit mechanism. The body sections of both the transformable and non-transformable embodiments may also be provided with finger guides, which promote the proper gripping of the holder by a user, and finger holes, which facilitate the expulsion of air from a liquid-filled liner receivable in an interior of the holder.

Abstract: The invention concerns a packaging case, comprising a closed crown (5) provided with at least two opposite transverse windows (6), a thermoformed base (1) and a thermoformed lid (2) mounted removable on the base (1). The base (1) or the lid (2) has a peripheral opening provided with an extremity (3) projecting outwards with which the lid (2) or base (1) peripheral edge co-operates respectively for closing the packaging case, the crown (5) is arranged along the outer wall of the part, base (1) or lid (2) provided with said extremity (3), the crown (5) being locked in position by means of locking members (7, 8) co-operating with said windows (6). The invention is applicable to packaging cases for food products.

The lid comprises a convex portion facing inside the box and cooperating with the opening of the bottom and at least two flaps articulating on opposite edges of the lid. Each overlapping at least partly a side face of the bottom. The flaps each comprise at least locking elements cooperating with complementary locking elements provided in one side face of the bottom or with complementary locking elements born by the other flap auxiliary flaps articulated on the other edges of the lid. The invention is applicable to the packaging of food products.

Abstract: A container for a rail vehicle for the installation of electric and electronic equipment is proposed. The container (1) is formed from an extruded section (2, 3) bent in the edge regions (10) and provided with lid (22) and rear panel (21). The extruded section used for forming the wall has a special structure adopted exactly to the requirements of the container (1) and having at least one coolant duct (13) of closed cross section. A cooling circuit within the equipment is formed by means of the cooling ducts, in which case the coolant may be pressurized. The thermal energy produced and radiated in components installed individually in the interior space of the container (1) is absorbed by the cooling circuit within the equipment and is dissipated via the surface of the container to the outside atmosphere.

Abstract: A packaging case set, used for packing swimming goggles with a mono frame, including two pieces of packaging cases that have the same style case shell, and in which each of the packaging cases consists of a first and second enclosure, bonding unit etc. Therein, the first and second enclosures are inward arching and are then assembled to form a sealed space. Furthermore, each enclosure is equipped with a bonding unit, whereby the bonding unit contains the first and second fasteners, which further become fastened together accordingly. Owing to the above structure, and also by means of the fastening function in-between the first and second fasteners on the first enclosure, it can hence be reassembled into two different-styled packaging cases at the time of opening. Thus, it is ready for the packing of small personal items or complete set of swimming goods, such as swimming goggles, earplugs, nosepieces, etc.

Abstract: The present invention is a container for food. The container has a lid and a base which form a series of three self-reinforcing seals when mated. A protrusion on the lid reinforces the triple seal formed between the lid and base. The protrusion applies a force to the base, locking the lid and base together. The third seal has the largest surface area and acts as a first line of defense against food leakage out of the container and a last line of defense against the entry of contaminants into the container.

Abstract: Disclosed is a container having top, bottom, and side walls that comprises first and second substantially identical halves, each of which has a major surface that has a polygonal shape defined by at least six sides and at least one substantially vertical side wall, substantially orthogonal to the major surface, that forms a portion of the side walls of the container when the halves are assembled, an at least double wall construction, the two substantially identical halves matingly engage when the halves are assembled to form the container, and means integral to each half for securing the two halves together. In another aspect, the container of the invention comprises a major surface having a curved periphery and is otherwise as summarized above.

A connector clamps and holds the first cup and the second cup together. The diameter of the connector is the same the diameter of the flange of the first cup.

Abstract: A serviceable sealed fuel tank includes a tank shell having a first half shell and a second half shell connected to the first half shell. The serviceable sealed fuel tank also includes at least one internal component disposed inside the tank shell between the first half shell and the second half shell. The serviceable sealed fuel tank further includes an inspection tower extending outwardly from the second half shell and being sealed. A portion of the inspection tower is removed to allow access to the at least one component after the first half shell and the second half shell are connected together.
