  • Patent number: 5941392
Abstract: A slidable bagging rack system. The rack has a slanted back portion which slants downwardly from an upper portion to a lower portion, and has a pair spaced apart support arms with risers which extend above the upper portion of the rack. Spaced midway between the support arms is a hook member. A pack of bags, such as T-shirt bags, is loaded on the rack by pushing the risers through apertures formed in the handles and by pushing the hook member through a mouth tab aperture formed in a mouth tab of the bags. Pulling a front wall of the bag tears the handles free of their handle aperture from the risers and tears the mouth tab of the front wall free, thereby readying the bag for loading with merchandise. The slanted back not only supports the bags, but effectively lowers the level of the open mouth of the bag.

Abstract: A mounting clip for trash bags used in automobiles comprises an elongated channel having a continuous rear wall and two upwardly projecting hooks spaced apart by a distance sufficient so that the flexible hook-type handles on a disposable plastic carrying bag commonly available in stores can be held by the corresponding hooks of the clip. A pair of elongated bendable mounting strips are spaced apart and permanently secured to the rear wall of the channel. Each strip is bendable into any desired configuration and capable of being reconfigured if desired. The strips are preferably made from metal to provide self-supporting properties and the ability to be bent and reconfigured. The clip is removably connected to any part of an automobile dashboard, such as the upper edge of a glove compartment door or an ashtray, followed by closing the door or ashtray over the strips to hold the clip in its fixed position for connection to the flexible handles of the disposable plastic carrying bag.

  • Patent number: 5228654
Abstract: A bag holder for holding bags such as trash bags used for gardening. It comprises a rod having two side arms integrally projecting therefrom and extending forwardly. A sleeve with large rounded heads are set at the ends of each arm. The upper edge of the bag is set around the rod and the sleeves in order to be held and kept open. The large heads of the sleeves apply a pressure to tighten the upper edge around the rod without puncturing the bag. The bend angle of the arms could be change in combination with the moving of the sleeves along the arms to accommodate bags of different sizes, shapes or purposes. The rod is vertically supported by a vertical rod or by an handle.

  • Patent number: 5222702
Abstract: A strip is provided for horizontal mounting on a vertical planar surface for holding the straps or handles of a plastic bag in upper edge notches of the strip located respectively near either end. Standoff pads are normally employed on the back of the strip toward the center from the respective notches to permit the bag straps or handles to easily slip into the notches. The notches are sized to wedge the straps so that they can be held near the back edge of the opening of the bag, which causes the bag to tilt forward in an open condition.

  • Patent number: 5213145
Abstract: A semi-automatic T-shirt bag bagging rack and bags for use therewith. The bagging rack has a stationary rear wall with two spaced apart hooks and a tab receiving member. A support base is attached to the stationary rear wall. A movable front frame member moves between a first position distant from the stationary wall and a second position adjacent thereto. The movable front frame member has an upper planar member which is substantially parallel to the stationary rear wall and has a tacky rubber sheet member affixed thereto facing the stationary rear wall. A stack of T-shirt bags having a central tab with a central tab slit and a tab tearing slit cut therethrough and "C"-shaped cuts located near the inside edges of the handles are first loaded on the bagging rack by slipping the central tab slit of the stack of bags over the tab engaging member and by looping the "C"-shaped cuts on the handles onto the hooks on the rear wall.

  • Patent number: 5160062
Abstract: A receptacle is provided that has a multiplicity of projections that may be positioned at any of many locations along the upper end of the receptacle. Plastic bags for receiving trash are held by the projections. In view of the fact that the projections are movable to any desired location, one large bag or several small plastic bags can be selectively held by the projections in the receptacle. By selecting the locations of the projections the receptacle may be arranged to have one or more bags of different sizes that will fit the needs of the user of the receptacle. The projections may be placed in their desired positions in either of two ways. One way is to have a series of cavities around the top of the receptacle. The projections can be selectively placed in the various cavities to hold the desired number and sizes of bags. Another way is to have a continuous groove around the top of the receptacle to allow the projections to be positioned in any desired arrangement.
