Abstract: A rotary adjusting hook contains a hooking member including a circular first loop fitted on one end thereof, a first vertical segment extending downward from another end thereof, and a hook segment extending outward from the first vertical segment; a first retainer including a circular second loop fitted on one end thereof, a second vertical segment extending downward from another end thereof, a second retainer including a circular third loop fitted on one end thereof, and a third vertical segment extending downward from another end thereof; a positioning set including an axial connecting member and an adjusting member, and the axial connecting member including a first coupling segment to connect with an adjusting member; the adjusting member including a second coupling segment to connect with the first coupling segment of the axial connecting member.

Abstract: Hangers and methods for supporting an item from a structure. In some examples, the hanger includes a body configured to support the item and lines configured to bear tension, the lines supporting the body from corners of the structure. In some examples, the hanger includes an adjustment mechanism mounted to the body and coupled to the lines, wherein the adjustment mechanism is configured to selectively adjust the position of the body relative to the structure. In some examples, the method includes forming a portion of a first line into a first loop, forming a portion of a second line into a second loop, placing the first loop over the first corner of the structure, placing the second loop over the second corner of the structure, securing the item to the first line, and securing the item to the second line.

Abstract: An attachment device useful with suspended ceiling systems is provided. In disclosed embodiments, the device comprises a clip that matingly engages a bulb of a ceiling grid tee. The device may include a reinforcing sleeve and can be used to increase the load carrying capacity of suspended ceiling systems while providing a simple, quick method of attaching the suspended ceiling grid to the true ceiling.

Abstract: A decorative roof light covering system includes a roof overhang that is attached to and extends downwardly from a roof. The roof overhang has a bottom edge, a first side and a second side. A plurality of decorations is attached to the bottom edge of the roof overhang. A cover includes a bottom wall that has a top side, a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge. A first lateral wall is attached to and extends along the first lateral edge. A second lateral wall is attached to and extends along the second lateral edge. Each of the first and second lateral walls extends upwardly from the top side. A coupling assembly is attached to the roof overhang and releasably couples the cover to the roof overhang. The cover is attached to the roof overhang when the decorations are to be hidden from view.

Other embodiments provided include a secondary arm for allowing accommodation of the device onto a vertically oriented wall or other surface.

This invention provides quick and effective attachment of numerous audio/video devices and other paraphernalia onto a wide variety of fixtures. Convenient clamping and mounting mechanisms are disclosed, as well as a kit of such mechanisms.

Abstract: A device for supporting and suspending objects from a balance point on a surface. The device includes a balance contact, a retainer region, a display body, and a display surface. The display surface of the device may be configured into a design representing a particular figure or logo, or may simply be aesthetically pleasing. By using a balance contact on the surface without a counterbalance, the device provides a visually striking, unique way of holding objects.

Abstract: A fence hanger apparatus is generally comprised of two vertical hanging support brackets. The two vertical hanging support brackets each have an upper portion terminating in a U-shaped hook for hanging the apparatus over the top rail of a fence, and a lower portion. A vertical member has an upper end and a lower end and is positioned approximately midway between the two vertical hanging support brackets and is substantially parallel to the upper portions of the two vertical hanging brackets. The upper end of the vertical member extends substantially to the same height as the U-shaped hooks. The vertical member has a front face, a rear face and two side faces. The front face of the vertical member is provided with means for attaching hanging members. A U-shaped latch is pivotally mounted to the lower end of the vertical member for attaching the apparatus to a vertical post of a fence. The lower portions of the two hanging support brackets are secured to the lower end of the vertical member with securing means.

Rotation of the attachment member with respect to the plate is permitted when the plate is in the first position, and rotation of the attachment member with respect to the plate is inhibited when the plate is in the second position.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an adjustable hook with a rotating hook secured to a locking plate within a housing. The rotating hook is adapted to move within the housing allowing the orientation of the hook to be modified into a desired position. Once the desired position is achieved, the hook then locks in place.

Abstract: A combination clip and hook (clip) for use generally in suspending articles, which is rotatably movable about a rotary joint between a first position in which two opposing, rotatably joined portions of the overall clip structure are oriented together to form a continuous, enclosed shape that can be secured around another, and a second position in which the two portions of the structure are rotated out of the enclosed shape, and into, for example, a S shaped hook where one portion of the structure supports the item and the other portion can be applied to another supporting member. The joint between the two portions can define a spring-loaded rotating pivot assembly with at least two indexing positions opposed by 180 degrees. The rotary joint can be constructed with a pair of confronting male and female wedge and detent inserts that are biased toward each other by an embedded spring assembly.

Abstract: A safety hanger system for attachment to horizontal members of stringers or other support members forming a subfloor include a plurality of safety hanger straps each of which is provided with closed loop ends. Rigid retaining members such as D-rings are linked through one of said loop ends at one end of each of the straps. Snap hooks are supported on the retaining members. The safety hangers are attachable in spaced relationship to the stringers with at least one snap-hook positioned to engage a safety net below the adjacent stringers to catch a worker that slips through a subfloor under which the net is placed, whereby workers have freedom of movement above the subfloor without the need to be tethered by lanyards to any given fixed point. A method is disclosed for attaching the safety hanger straps to the stringers and for securing safety net(s) to the snap hooks.

Abstract: A mounting system for providing resilient mounting of a display device at a defined tilt angle. A surface mounting bracket configured to be attached to a mounting surface includes an engagement member and an engagement lip which are in communication with at least one engagement feature disposed on a display device bracket configured to be attached to a display device such as a flat panel television. The engagement feature, engagement lip, and engagement member are configured such that communication among these features results in an assembly that is resilient to inadvertent physical contact with the display device. The display device bracket is tiltable with respect to the surface mounting bracket, providing a defined tilt angle of the display device. Provision of a plurality of engagement features disposed on the display device bracket offers alternative assembly configurations, each capable of having defined tilt angles.

Abstract: A hanger support system that provides for attachment and suspension of materials from an elongated support structure such as an angle iron truss. The system includes a hanger support having a main body with means for attaching items to the hanger support, and an elongated tongue projecting upward from the main body to form a hook for hanging the hanger support upon the support structure. The hanger support further includes gussets projecting upward from the main body to engage the tongue and various bores in the main body for accepting threaded rod, or the shanks of bolts, to attach items to be suspended from the support structure.

Abstract: A hanger and method for hanging is disclosed, the hanger for the purposes of hanging objects on substantially vertical surfaces such as walls, beams and posts. The hanger comprises a single-piece bracket of substantially flat suitable material. One portion of the bracket is attachable to the object to be hung using fasteners or other means and supports the weight of the object on support hardware using a concave support edge. The support edge is a tapered concave edge which may have a slotted center designed to fit typically used vertical support hardware (such as nails, screws of pegs) extending from a substantially vertical support surface such as a wall, beam or post. Another portion of the bracket extends away from the support edge and beyond the outer edge of the object to be hanged and includes a fastener opening for securing the alignment of the object relative to the vertical support using typical fasteners (such as nails or screws).

Abstract: A temporary shaft support system is provided that can be used with an enclosure such as food processing equipment. The system may include a holder for engaging a shaft to be supported, and a lift that is supported from the food processing equipment at a position that is higher than the shaft to allow the shaft to be suspended and supported without occupying floor space of the food processing equipment. The lift may be supported by a top wall of the food processing equipment or may be supported by a drive mount that attaches a shaft-rotating drive to the food processing equipment.

Abstract: The present invention provides a device to restrain an animal when performing routine procedures such as administering eye drops, brushing the animal's teeth or completing other hygiene or medical procedures. Similar in appearance to a duffle bag or comparable tote, the device is manufactured of heavy duty, soft canvas or comparable synthetic material, produced in a range of sizes for various breeds dogs and cats. The device features raised side walls and a semi rigid base. The front and back panel of the unit comprise soft mesh netting, facilitating easy access to the animal. The interior is lined with soft polyester or wool material and features a series of three, adjustable restraining straps boasting self affixing hook and loop fasteners for use in safely and securely restraining the animal placed within. Notably, the base of the unit features a series of reinforced, round shaped openings, through which the animal's legs are fed.

Abstract: A novel device for hanging a stroller on a door or wall particularly in apartments. The invention includes a hanging bracket which fits over a door at its upper end having two hanging tubes mounted thereto extending downwardly along its length. The hanging tubes are mounted within integral cylindrical retainers on the hanging bracket by strategic placement of a pin. The orientation of the hanging tubes is modifiable by adjusting the positioning of the pin on a series of notches in the upper surface of the tube retainer so that the hanging tubes may be swiveled out of the way when not in use.

Abstract: An adjustable hanger device includes an adjustable mounting bracket that may be sized for mounting the hanger to support members of various dimensions. The hanger device has a composite structure including both metallic and polymeric components. The mounting bracket is formed of primarily metallic components to provide adequate hang strength, and a thin profile for use in so-called over-the-door hanger devices supported on the top edge of a door below the lintel or frame member when the door is in the closed position.

The return springs (26a) and (26b) will be pre-tensioned and attached also to the nose (28).

Abstract: A mounting bracket configuration with two lower mounting locations and an optional upper mount and a flexibly resilient securement strap attachable thereto to securely retain a helmet such as those used by firefighters securely in place against a mounting surface such as the interior of the passenger compartment of an emergency vehicle, such as a fire truck. The present apparatus also includes a bumper construction for protecting a user from being injured by the protruding upper hook while also preventing damaging of the helmet itself during mounting or removal. A release lanyard provided for easy release and engagement. The upper hook can attach to a fire helmet directly and/or to the securement strap.

Abstract: A locking automobile mat hanger and display device consists of two hanger housings that cooperate with an interchangeable adapter insert to secure a plurality of automobile floor mats. The device includes housings having a retaining portion and an adapter insert, whereby the adapter insert and the retaining portion of the housing create channels in which automobile floor mats may be inserted and retained. The device also has a cutout section in the housings whereby a user may easily grasp and carry the entire mat hanger assembly. The device further contains a hook section disposed on the housings, which allows for the entire mat hanger assembly to be hung from retail displays, and also allows for efficient storage. The label application section of the hanger aids inventory organization.

Abstract: An adjustable support stand is mounted on a pre-cast concrete wall panel form to facilitate the leveling of the form and the support of the form about the production plant floor. The adjustable support stand includes a frame portion that houses a threaded rod positional fixed for rotation within the frame portion to drive a vertical movement of the leg member in response to rotation of the threaded rod. The adjustable support stand further includes a clamping apparatus that detachably mounts the frame portion to the flanges of a steel beam frame member. The actuator member can be a nut welded to the top of the threaded rod to affect movement of the engaged leg member in response to manipulation with a powered or manually operated hand tool, or a gear set and an orthogonal drive shaft that transfers rotation from a hand tool to the threaded rod.

Abstract: A universal travel hook including first and second hook members and a connector member which pivotally connects the first and second hook members for rotation about an axis such that when in a closed configuration, the first hook member opens generally in the same direction as the second hook member in side-by-side relationship, and when in an open configuration, the first hook member opens generally in the opposite direction as the second hook member. In one embodiment, the connector is a split ring which pivotally connects to the hook members by extending through a through opening in the proximal end portion of each hook member. When in an open configuration, the first hook member is adapted for placement over a door or other object while the second hook projects outwardly therefrom and is adapted to receive and hold an article of clothing, a bag, or other object.

Abstract: A tension-based fastening system for holding an article comprising a forward-facing S-shaped plate and a reverse-facing S-shaped plate. The reverse-facing plate is disposed over and integrally connected to the forward-facing plate, forming a top tensioned holder portion and a bottom tensioned holder portion for removably holding objects. The reverse top arc of the reverse-facing plate and the forward top arc of the forward-facing plate overlap to form a top opening, while the reverse bottom arc of the forward-facing plate and the forward bottom arc of the reverse-facing plate overlap to form a bottom opening. The overlapping arcs provide tension for maintaining each tensioned holder portion in a closed position.

Slides at the top of the platform of a hook below may be received in rails at the bottom of the web of a hook above and the hook below is slid rearwardly along the guidance provided by the slides and the rails to stack the hook below beneath the hook above. No additional fastenings between the hooks are required.

The hanging device may be biased about a pivot area when an object is held by the support element such that the insert edge is urged into the joint between adjacent siding members. The insert edge defines an obtuse angle relative to the upper section and the support element may comprise hook members or mounting holes.

Thus, when an external force exerted on the cantilever is more than the offset limit of the cantilever, the cantilever could be cracked to protect the housing from being damaged.
