And Coil Spring Patents (Class 267/231)
  • Patent number: 9533863
Abstract: An industrial truck has a drive part and a load part. The drive part has at least one steerable drive wheel and at least one supporting wheel. The drive part has a full-floating axle which has two arms which are in each case mounted in a rotational joint and of which one bears the supporting wheel and one bears the drive wheel. Each arm is coupled to the drive part via a spring damping element.

  • Patent number: 6672606
Abstract: An improved suspension system is disclosed for a personal mobility vehicle comprising an arm assembly pivotably mounted to a fame section. A wheel assembly is connected to the arm assembly. A spring is interposed between the arm assembly and the second frame section for resiliently suspending the wheel assembly relative to the frame section. In one example of the invention, the frame section comprises a rigid frame section of the personal mobility vehicle. In another example of the invention, the frame section comprises a resilient leaf spring resiliently suspending the assembly of the personal mobility vehicle. In another example of the invention, a resilient coil spring interposed between the arm assembly the resilient leaf spring for providing a multiple resilient suspension for the wheel assembly.

  • Patent number: 5507516
Abstract: A vehicle suspension system, comprising suspension means, anti-roll means capable of rotational movement due to deflection of the suspension means during straight axle static bounce motion thereof, and counteracting means arranged to act between said anti-roll means and the vehicle frame or chassis during straight axle static bounce motion of the suspension means, to at least partially counteract any consequential rotational movement of the anti-roll means, thereby applying a couple or moment to, and as a result, altering the deflection and rate of said suspension means.
