Abstract: A flow regulated quick-connect fitting has a polymeric first connector and a polymeric second connector, the first connector being either a male fitting or a female fitting, and the other of the male fitting or the female fitting being the second connector. The female fitting has a longitudinal cylindrical cavity therein, and the male fitting has a generally cylindrical body having an end opening. The cylindrical body of the male fitting is positionable within the cylindrical cavity of the female fitting forming the connection. A clip is pivotably connected to the second connector moving between a first position connecting the female fitting to the male fitting when the male fitting is positioned within the female fitting and a second position in which the male fitting is removable from the female fitting. A replaceable flow regulator in the male fitting end opening regulates flow through the quick-connect fitting.

Abstract: A leakage-proof pipe fitting of quick connection for Reverse Osmosis Membrane (RO) water treatment unit of household comprises a pipe fitting of elbow type, a sealing O-ring, an annular cooperative bushing collar, an accessory latching clip and an adapted cylindrical elastic sleeving collet with an elongated annular delimiting flange, whose longitudinal thickness is lengthened into at least double length for the original longitudinal thickness of the conventional annular delimiting flange to extend the embracing distance from the top surface of the adapted cylindrical elastic sleeving collet to the bottom surface of the cylindrical retainer in the pipe fitting of elbow type so that the curvature for the bent water pipe/tube covered by the embracing distance is reduced. Thereby, the sealing O-ring is free from uneven stress of the bent water pipe/tube. Consequently, it has effect in preventing RO water treatment unit from the leakage of compressed water therein.

Abstract: A connector assembly may be formed by the combination of a latch member and a connector member. The latch member has an annular collar and an arcuate latch wall extending from a circumferential edge of the annular collar. A latch recess and a latch arm are defined within the latch wall. A grip wing extends from an exterior surface of the latch wall adjacent the latch recess and is configured to reinforce the latch arm by countering a tendency of the latch arm to flex radially outward when the connector assembly is subject to a tension load along a longitudinal axis of the connector assembly. A plurality of snap arms are arranged about a circumference of the interior surface of the annular collar to engage the connector member. The connector member receives and retains the latch member directly about an outer male insertion surface thereof rather than passing a barbed end of the connector member through the latch member.

Abstract: An inlet hole capable of inserting a pipe thereinto is formed in a pipe joint body along an axis. Retainer attaching holes for attaching with a retainer that prevents detachment of the pipe are formed in a side surface of the pipe joint body to extend therethrough. These retainer attaching holes are configured symmetrically with respect to an X axis passing through a center of the inlet hole as a symmetrical axis. Thus, a circumference of the inlet hole opens symmetrically, so that the heat shrinkage condition after molding is equalized in the circumferential direction. Accordingly, it is not necessary to process a molding pin for the inlet hole with imbalance of heat shrinkage amount in mind, so that the molding pin becomes easy to process. In addition, the retainer can selectively utilize the retainer attaching holes at two positions, so that selective use depending on installation environment can be achieved.
