Abstract: A roller system is disclosed that includes a roller axle with a longitudinal axis that houses at least a portion of a latch assembly. The latch assembly includes a latch with an exposed portion that moves substantially orthogonal to the longitudinal axis. The system also has a roller assembly that removably fits around the roller axle and has a latch catch. The system has two configurations: (1) a locked configuration, where the exposed portion of the latch obstructs the latch catch from sliding, thereby locking the roller assembly onto the roller axle; and (2) an unlocked configuration, where the exposed portion of the latch is moved towards the longitudinal axis, thereby allowing the latch catch to slide past, separating the roller assembly from the roller axle.

  • Patent number: 10508471
Abstract: A multiple-latch-locking lock structure includes a casing in which a lock tongue control unit and a lock latch control unit are arranged. The lock tongue control unit includes an operation-linking member, a positioning member, an arresting member, a swinging member, and a slide block. When a lock core is rotated, the rectangular lock tongue and the triangular lock tongue are driven to get pushed out and retracted back for latch-locking and unlocking. The lock latch control unit includes a rotating member, a slide plate, and a slide bar. When a handle is rotated, the lock latch is driven to get pushed out and retracted back, thereby achieving security latch-locking and the slide plate is caused to move up and down to achieve a function of controlling a vertical latch. As such, multiple latch locking can be achieved to provide the lock with better security and better burglary resistance.

Also, the rotor 40 causing a pair of slide pins 10 and 20 to interlock in accordance with drive operation of the operation handle 50 is rotatably installed at the base member 30. The rotor 40 has a pair of drive force transmission engagement parts 43 and 43. A pair of slide pins 10 and 20 have the engaged parts 101 and 201, which are separately engaged with one and the other of the pair of drive force transmission engagement parts 43 and 43, respectively. The rotor 40 is mounted in the base member 30 in a state where the respective drive force transmission parts 43 and 43 are exposed to the rear side of the lid 1.

Abstract: A collapsible plastic storage and transport container has four sidewalls configured to be collapsible inwardly towards a bottom part. Two opposing first sidewalls have recesses and upper corner regions with a spring clip. The spring clip is fixedly connected to a first sidewall and has a free end with a locking projection. The other two opposing second sidewalls have detents disposed on edges of the two second sidewalls. The free end of the spring clip is moveable in a plane of the first sidewall against a spring force of the spring clip, and the locking projection engages behind a corresponding detent to lock the first sidewalls with the second sidewalls. The upper corner regions of the first sidewalls are double-walled, with a closed outer surface and an inner surface with a grip hole. Each spring element can only be actuated from inside the container.

Abstract: A push-push heart cam lock assembly for use in connection with a slidable tray within a vehicle. The push-push heart cam includes a breakaway feature to prevent breakage of the pin if a user pulls the assembly rather than pushes the assembly when attempting to close the assembly. The assembly includes a base, a track formed in the base, and a pin slidable within the track which is formed on the base. The assembly further includes a heart shaped cam having a fixed piece and a movable piece wherein the fixed piece and the movable piece of the heart shaped cam are mounted within the track of the base. In the event that the user pulls the slidable mechanism, the pin moves between the fixed piece and the movable piece of the heart shaped cam.

Abstract: A computer casing may have an opening that requires sealing against water ingress. A system for preventing ingress of liquid into the opening may include a door rotatably connected to the computer casing, a layer of material adhered to the door and having a chamfered edge, a bar movably connected to the door and operable for travel in a first direction or a second direction opposite the first direction and a spring having a first end connected to the bar and a second end connected to the door for biasing the bar in the first direction of travel. Closing the door causes the layer of material to contact a recessed surface of the opening and deflect the chamfered edge to form a seal in the recessed opening. Moving the bar in the first direction retains the door relative to the computer to maintain the seal formed by the layer of material.

  • Patent number: 8215685
Abstract: A double slide arm spring mechanism for biasing a primary mechanism to home position after operation and retaining the primary mechanism in the home position pending further operation. The double slide arm spring mechanism includes a pair of slideably interlocking arms each having a longitudinal frame member and a spring engaging flange at each end. The frame members are a disposed to engage one another while permitting relative sliding of the arms. The slide arms are interlocked such that one flange of each arm is situated between the two flanges of the other arm. Two compression springs are retained between the flanges of the arms such that sliding of either arm toward the other necessarily compresses both springs. Potential energy stored in the springs returns the slide to its neutral position when the operator is released thereby also returning the operator to its neutral position.
