Abstract: A device authenticates a request to user. The device accesses a face image that depicts a face of the person and includes a characteristic noise pattern inserted by a camera of the device. The device also accesses a geolocation which the device captured the face image and puts the face image and the geolocation into an artificial intelligence engine that outputs a face score, device score, and a location score. The device next submits the request with the scores to a server machine and obtains an authentication score from the server machine. The device then presents an indication that the request to verify the person is authentic based on a comparison of the obtained authentication score to a threshold authentication score.

Abstract: The present invention proposes a method for providing a visitor controlled access into a building. Initially, entrance identification information is provided to a mobile device of the visitor when the mobile device is in close proximity of an entrance of the building. The mobile device then sends the entrance identification information to a remote server. In response the server sends back a list of residents of the building to the mobile device based on the entrance identification information, and the mobile device presents the list of residents to the visitor. The visitor then selects a resident from the list, and subsequently a link is established between the mobile device and a remote device associated with the selected resident. Finally, access grant information is provided to an access control means adapted to control access of the visitor into the building via the entrance.
Abstract: In a room occupant monitoring system, if any ID information stored in a personal data storage section matches ID information on an entry applicant acquired from an ID storage medium by an information acquisition section and a number of room occupants detected based on results of permission for room entry and exit has reached a maximum number of persons detectable from a monitoring camera's video, a control unit of a server compares degrees of priority, which are stored in a storage section of the server, between the entry applicant and all the room occupants and (i) refuses permission for the entry applicant having a lower degree of priority than all the room occupants to enter the room or, (ii) if there is any room occupant having a lower degree of priority than the entry applicant, performs room exit request processing for requesting the lower-degree-of-priority room occupant to leave the room.

An exemplary method may include tracking, by a processor, a position and orientation of a remote control device based on sensor data. The sensors may be one or more of a gyroscope, accelerometer, and a magnetometer. Based on the tracking, a ray extending from the remote control device in a direction the remote control device is pointing is determined. The determined ray is compared to a predefined map, the predefined map including a spatial location associated with each of one or more network controllable devices. The method may include, based on the comparing, selecting a network controllable device of the one or more network controllable devices corresponding to the determined ray. Abstract: A customer engages in a transaction at a Point-Of-Sale (POS) terminal, which necessitates obtaining a signature from the customer to complete the transaction. A device integrated or interfaced to the POS terminal electronically captures one or more gestures made by the customer in the air representing a signature of the customer. The device processes one or more images or video representing the gestures into the signature and records the signature to complete the transaction.
