Abstract: Described herein are techniques for improving the signal-to-noise ratio of a wireless sensor platform. The device that interrogates a wireless sensor node (an interrogator) may be configured to determine the quantity to be measured by extracting information from multiple echoes produced in response to multiple interrogation pulses or produced due to multi-path propagation. Although different echoes may have been transformed to different extents, the echoes may share unique characteristics that are specific to the wireless sensor node that produced them. Accordingly, the SNR may be improved by keeping only portions of the received signal that exhibit such characteristics. The SNR may be further improved by summing the echoes together. In some embodiments, the echoes may be summed together in a coherent fashion, thereby producing an echo having an amplitude greater than the amplitude of each of the received echoes.

  • Patent number: 11756393
Abstract: A security device is provided that includes an electronic article surveillance tag that may be configured to resonate to provide a wireless response signal to a deactivator to trigger generation of a deactivation field. Further, the security device may include tamper detection circuitry which may include a tamper sensor configured to generate a tamper signal in response to detecting a tamper event, a deactivation sensor configured to generate a deactivation signal in response to detecting the deactivation field, and a sounder. In this regard, the tamper detection circuitry may be configured to deactivate the tamper detection circuitry in response to receiving the deactivation signal from the deactivation sensor such that receipt of the tamper signal after deactivation of the tamper detection circuitry does not trigger the sounder to emit the alarm.

Abstract: Systems and methods for theft reduction of grain are disclosed. A grain cart includes a theft detection system that monitors grain onboarded into the grain cart from a harvesting machine, and grain offloaded from the grain cart to a trailer. The theft detection system measures a weight value of the grain received from the harvesting machine, and transmits the weight value to a tracking system. Additionally, the theft detection system can receive an expected grain weight value from the harvesting machine and compare the measured weight value with the received weight value, and provide a notification (e.g., alarm) of the difference is greater than a predetermined threshold. The theft detection system can provide similar functions between weight values of grain in the grain cart and a trailer. Also, the theft detection system can encrypt transmit the weight values prior to transmitting to the tracking system.

Abstract: A light emitting diode (LED) lamp includes at least one LED and an LED driver. The LED driver includes at least two terminals, a burning processor, and an address memory. The at least two terminals have a power input terminal and a power output terminal. The power input terminal and the power output terminal are externally coupled to a power line. The burning processor receives a burning activation data of a burning signal through the power input terminal or the power output terminal, and directly and externally receives a burning address data of the burning signal without from the power line. When a burning function of the burning processor is activated by the burning activation data, the burning processor converts the burning address data into a local address data and burns the local address data into the address memory.

Abstract: Techniques are described, as implemented by computing devices, to control access to transactions through use of tokenized reputation scores. This is performed by leveraging a blockchain such that a tokenized reputation score is generated or calculated based on an amount of reputation tokens associated with a blockchain account address associated with a service provider account, and by making transactional functionality available to the service provider account based on a comparison of a tokenized reputation score affiliated with the service provider account with a threshold score associated with a transaction.

  • Patent number: 11748703
Abstract: An RFID loss-prevention system (LPS) may monitor RFID-tagged items in a facility. An RFID reader transmits a first inventory command configured to cause tags in a first state to respond, receive a reply from a first tag, determine that the first tag has a low transition risk, and cause the first tag to switch to a second state. The reader may also receive a reply from a second tag, determine that the second tag has a high transition risk, and cause the second tag to remain in the first state. The reader may then transmit a second inventory command configured to cause tags in the first state to respond, receive a reply from the second tag in response to the second inventory command, determine that the second tag has inappropriately exited the facility, and issue an alert.
