A camera control unit of the camera body acquires focus-sensitivity-related information (including sensitivity information at an image height of the center and correction information of the sensitivity that changes depending on the image height) from a lens control unit of the interchangeable lens through communication at a suitable timing. The camera control unit corrects a change of the sensitivity caused by the image height using image height information of a focus detection region selected from a plurality of focus detection regions and the acquired focus sensitivity correction information. The camera control unit calculates a driving amount of the focus lens from the focus detection signal using the corrected focus sensitivity, generates a control signal for instructing the driving amount, and transmits the control signal to a lens control unit.

Abstract: A digital camera includes a rear display unit, an imaging optical system, an operation button, a touch panel, a shutter unit, an imaging element, a main control unit, a digital signal processing unit, and a setting information storage unit. After setting information is set in a first setting item and a second setting item of an imaging condition, in a case where the setting information of the first setting item is changed through the touch panel, the main control unit changes the setting information of the second setting item to setting information according to the setting information of the first setting item after the change. When determination is made that a specific setting operation is performed, the main control unit reads the setting information of the first setting item and the second setting item from the setting information storage unit and restores the setting information to the setting information before the change.

Abstract: A media item selection application is provided for use with computing devices. The media item selection application is configured to identify media items that have significant similarities in metadata values, such as location and time period. The media item selection application is further configured to visualize similar media items as a group, depicted as a section within a collection or gallery, in which each group is a suggestion for a natural collection of media items representing an event. Where media items do not fall within a group of a particular size with significant similarities, groups are consolidated to create a second type of collection which covers a time-period between two significant groups. Further, the media item selection application is configured to depict media items that show extraordinary similarity as a virtual stack of all such media items.
