A useful application of the subject invention includes the case where lime-flavored liquid is contained in a foam artificial lime stored in the neck of a beer bottle, attached to a beer bottle or can, or attached to the 6-pack or 12-pack carton. The artificial lime may be retrieved from the neck or a protective covering and acted upon so it diffuses the lime-flavored liquid into the beer when it is inserted into the beer bottle. Alternately, juice from the artificial lime may be squeezed into the beer, or the artificial lime may be simply retrieved and discarded. Rather than needing to buy a natural lime, cut it up and push a wedge into a beer bottle, an artificial lime, or a packaged natural lime, may be stored directly in or with the beer bottle and placed in functional contact with the beer at time of consumption.

Abstract: The capsule (2002) according to the invention comprises a side wall (2006) extending along a longitudinal axis (X-X), an inlet wall (2008) closing a first rear end of the side wall (2006), and an outlet wall (2010) closing a second front end of the side wall (2006), delimiting a chamber (2014) for receiving a substance for preparing a drink. According to one aspect of the invention, the outlet wall (2010) and the inner surface (2028) of the side wall (2006) comprise complementary raised snapping portions making it possible to snap the outlet wall (2010) in the front end of the side wall (2006). Applicable to capsules for extracting coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc.

Abstract: A candy holder for receiving and securing an elongated candy therein is provided. The candy holder includes a handle portion defining an elongated cavity with a central axis. The handle portion has a plurality of protrusions extending toward the central axis and circumferentially around an inner surface of the handle portion. A top portion of the candy holder has a lip defining an opening. The opening receives the elongated candy that is dimensioned to correspond to a size of the opening. The lip and protrusions apply friction to a surface of the elongated candy when the elongated candy is inserted therein.

Abstract: A beverage capsule is provided having a body defining an opening. A filter is disposed in the opening and secured to the body. The filter is moldable to define an ingredients chamber. The filter is formed of a moldable nonwoven fabric comprising fibers that are undrawn or partially drawn prior to molding. Ingredients are disposed in the ingredients chamber for preparing a desired beverage and a cover is disposed over the opening for sealing the interior space.

Abstract: A system for the preparation of a single serving of an Arabic coffee beverage, which system includes a disposable single serving cartridge and a preparation device. The device includes a holder for accommodating the cartridge, a water feed device configured to provide water, and a boiling reservoir which is arranged to receive therein water and ground roasted coffee that has been discharged from the cartridge. In the boiling reservoir, a boiling process is performed, and the boiled mixture is discharged from the reservoir into a cup. The cartridge is embodied such that the ground roasted coffee therein is entrained with the water that is introduced into the cartridge and is dispensed as a mixture with said water from the cartridge via one or more outlets into the boiling reservoir.
