The grate is removable for cool weather. The grate system can cool various surfaces and requires no operating adjustments. It can be applied near most windows (including skylights) on all sides of a building where impinging sunlight causes unwanted heating. • Patent number: 7287356
Abstract: A welded wire lathing material for mounting stucco plaster and the like onto a building frame. This lathing material comprises intersecting transverse and primary longitudinal strands substantially located in a first plane. It also comprises secondary longitudinal strands also substantially placed in first plane and closely spaced with, some of primary longitudinal strands, thus forming longitudinal slots located at predetermined spaced intervals extending across the lathing material. The slots are wider than the shaft, but narrower than the head, of fasteners predetermined for attaching the lath to building frames. The longitudinal and transverse strands are welded together where they intersect to form a rectangular mesh approximately located in the first plane.

  • Patent number: 7251917
Abstract: An arrangement for securing fabric relative to a framework comprising a framework, a groove in the framework, and a locking spline for being received into the groove in the framework whereby a fabric panel can be retained relative to the framework by an insertion of the locking spline into the groove with a portion of the fabric panel disposed between the locking spline and the groove. The framework can have an obverse side, a peripheral edge, and a reverse side and the groove can be disposed to the reverse side of the framework whereby the fabric panel can be applied to the framework with a portion of the fabric panel retained within the groove and with the fabric panel reversing over the peripheral edge of the framework and traversing at least a portion of the framework. A secondary groove can enable a retention of a secondary material.

  • Patent number: 7021017
Abstract: A high strength low density multi-purpose panel. The preferred panel is made of a plurality of boxes, organized into rows and columns, and each preferably including four alternately inverted voids. The voids are preferably triangular in cross-section and rounded at their apex and corners. The box sides are preferably four solid panels. Cross panels, extending between opposite corners and between the faces of each box, intersect at each box center, resulting in an X-shaped cross in each box. Each box is rotated ninety degrees with respect to each adjacent box. Each box shares sides with four adjacent boxes and corners with four cater-corned boxes. The common sides create perpendicular sets of parallel braces running the panel's length and width. The shared corners align and join the X-shaped cross panels with the X-shaped cross panels of their cater-cornered neighbors, creating diagonal braces that run across the entire panel.

Abstract: A grate for a swimming pool structure is constructed by placing a multiple of grate bars in an elevated position above the gutter which is parallel to the pools edge including any curvatures. The grate bars follow the curvatures of the pool's edge. When in the elevated position, the multiple of parallel grate bars are clamped together and a hole is drilled through all of the parallel grate bars. A retaining bolt is placed through all of the grate bars including the curvatures of the pools'edge and the bolts are fastened therein. There after, the assembled unit of grate bars is lowered into the gutter to be even with the surface of the deck and the water surface.
