Abstract: In implementations of augmented reality systems for comparing physical objects, a computing device implements a comparison system to detect physical objects and physical markers depicted in frames of a digital video captured using an image capture device and displayed in a user interface. The comparison system associates a physical object of the physical objects with a physical marker of the physical markers based on an association distance estimated using two-dimensional coordinates of the user interface corresponding to a center of the physical object and a distance from the image capture device to the physical marker. Characteristics of the physical object are determined that are not displayed in the user interface based on an identifier of the physical marker. The comparison system generates a virtual object for display in the user interface that includes indications of a subset of the characteristics of the physical object.

The set of tools include (1) a feature for enabling the graders to assess the medical image and manually delineate one or more specific regions-of-interest (ROI) in the medical image, (2) a feature for assessing the ROI(s) delineated by other graders, including display of the ROI delineated by other graders; (3) dialog features for explaining and discussing the assessments, including a text feature for discussing the assessments. The dialog features and the ROIs delineated by all the graders are visible to all the graders on the workstation display as they collectively adjudicate the medical image in a round-robin manner. The set of tools further include (4) a feature for manually verifying grader agreement with the other graders' assessments.

Abstract: Systems and methods for using an information wallet system to deliver a gift and receive, redeem, or re-gift the gift are disclosed. The information wallet system's storage is securely maintained by a financial institution computing system (i.e. a bank) and receives and holds purchase transaction information. Purchase information transaction may be received from a user computing device or an entity computing system, such as a merchant computing system. In one embodiment, a user may purchase a gift through an online website or at a brick and mortar location and direct the gift to be deposited into the information wallet storage of a recipient. A recipient may then continue to hold the gift, redeem the gift, or re-gift the gift to another party.

Abstract: A method for authenticating a wearable device is disclosed. The method includes: receiving, from a tokenization service provider (TSP), a signal representing a first code derived by the TSP from decrypting a security token previously provisioned in the computing device, wherein the security token was received at a terminal from the computing device and transmitted to the TSP; obtaining, based on the received signal representing the first code, a device identifier of the computing device and an identifier of an account; querying a device database to verify that the computing device is associated with a first status; verifying that the account is enabled for an operation initiated using the computing device; and transmitting an authorization message to the terminal, the authorization message authorizing the operation.

Abstract: A scalable encoding architecture is able to support multiple encoder versions without requiring new versions of the architecture to be generated and supported for each encoder version. An encoding profile template can be generated that includes the available settings for an encoder. A versioned schema can be generated that defines the settings for a particular encoder version. The schema can be persisted such that when a new channel or media stream is to be generated, the schema can be loaded and its values validated in order to cause the encoder to encode the media content using the appropriate values. An interface presented to the user to generate the template or channel can be dynamically generated such that only the applicable and/or relevant settings for a particular encoder version are displayed.

Abstract: The present technology provides for facilitating efficient identification of relevant metrics. In one embodiment, a set of candidate metrics for which to determine relevance to a user is identified. For each candidate metric, a set of distribution parameters is determined, including a first distribution parameter based on implicit positive feedback associated with the metric and usage data associated with the metric and a second distribution parameter based on the usage data associated with the metric. Such usage data can efficiently facilitate identifying relevance even with an absence of negative feedback. Using the set of distribution parameters, a corresponding distribution is generated. Each distribution can then be sampled to identify a relevance score for each candidate metric indicating an extent of relevance of the corresponding metric. Based on the relevance scores for each candidate metric, a candidate metric is designated as relevant to the user.

Abstract: A risk analysis system configures the decision engine to detect anomalous online activities by analyzing usage patterns associated with one or more user accounts across multiple frequencies. The risk analysis system obtains transaction log data representing transactions associated with one or more accounts, and extracts data from the transaction log data to generate time-series data along a time dimension. The time-series data may represent usage characteristics of one or more user accounts over a period of time. These speech characteristics are identified in the input media and synthetically incorporated into the translated outputs to mirror the characteristics in the input media. Abstract: An EMV enabled terminal may communicate transaction related information to a user via a standard user interface of the terminal, for example, within a user interface displayed on a display screen of the terminal. The transaction related information may be spoken out loud to the user by the terminal. However, users with visual, audio, or other physical impairments may be unable to access the display of the terminal, view the displayed information, or hear the spoken information. Systems and methods disclosed herein communicate transaction related information via an alternate user interface. Instead of relying on the standard user interface related communications, information about the status of a transaction or transaction related information may be determined based on monitoring and evaluating the communications between an EMV secure element of a dynamic transaction card and the terminal via a contact connection.

A shipping status query engine of embodiments implements various rules for intelligently querying one or more shipping service provider systems for information regarding the status of shipped items. Using the intelligent determinations of a rules base shipping status query engine, embodiments enable large scale, automated status queries for a very large number of shipped items. Having such automated access to updated status information for the shipped items, additional functionality may also be supported, such as to provide alerts, reminders, notifications, etc., upon detecting certain events and/or failure to detect certain events. The point of sale terminal requests payment from the third party payment provider for a transaction with the consumer using the transaction amount and authentication information. The third party provider display area allows new payment modalities to be used at the point of sale terminal without requiring modification of the instructions for the point of sale terminal.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention generally relate to mobile payments. For example, an application running on a phone can verify a passcode of a consumer. A user may wish to purchase an item that they view on a merchant marketplace using a computer of mobile phone. The merchant for the merchant marketplace may register the user's intent to purchase the item by receiving the user's actions while browsing the marketplace. The user may further provide user information with the merchant, such as a biometric reading, identifier, or other information. When the user then arrives at a merchant location to purchase the item and complete a transaction using a payment instrument, the merchant may process the user's intent and information to determine how confident the merchant is that the user is entitled to utilize the payment method. Such confidence rating may correspond to whether the merchant believes the transaction is fraudulent or if the user is misrepresenting their identity.
