Abstract: An acceleration detection gyro apparatus is of the electrostatic supporting type. This gyro apparatus can be made inexpensive, long in life, excellent in durability and can be applied to a wide variety of fields. A gyro rotor (20) is supported relative to a gyro case (21) by an electrostatic supporting force in a non-contact fashion and rotated about the spin axis along the Z axis by a rotor driving system. The gyro rotor (20) is disk-shaped and constructed by forming metal thin film electrodes on both surfaces of a plate member made of preferably an insulating material. The gyro apparatus includes a slave control system for slaving a displacement of the gyro rotor (20) relative to the gyro case (21) in the Z-axis direction (spin axis direction) and a central position control system for slaving a displacement of the gyro rotor (20) in the X-axis and Y-axis directions.

Abstract: The mouthwash dispensing device includes a frame having first and second reservoirs secured thereto, the first reservoir having a first port and the second reservoir having a second port, the first and second reservoirs adapted to contain mouthwash therein. A valve assembly is associated with the first and second reservoirs for selectively gating the first and second ports. An actuating assembly is associated with the valve for opening and closing the ports to release mouthwash from the reservoirs in response to user manipulation. The frame is adapted to store both drinking cups and a bottle of mouthwash therein. A locking cover is provided to restrict access to the stored cups and mouthwash.
Abstract: An elongated hanging rail assembly (10) of the type including a rail (12) having spaced front and rear downwardly converging substantially rigid walls (15,16) defining a longitudinal recess (14) with an open mouth (18) at the bottom, and a plurality of wedging pieces (25) arranged in a longitudinal series and disposed in said recess between said walls so as to grip sheet material (11) inserted into the mouth (18) of the recess, characterized in that the wedging pieces (25) are interconnected loosely in series as a wedging assembly (13) by means of longitudinal restraining means (26) adapted to confine the wedging assembly to a predetermined maximum overall length, while the wedging piece ends which face one another, of any two adjacent wedging pieces (25) in the series, are permitted relative movement in the releasing or disengaging direction whereby a wedging piece may be disengaged when so desired without causing other wedging pieces to be disengaged.

Abstract: A selected endothermic agent having a heat of reaction is embedded within an absorbent supporting open cell network matrix. The matrix is capable of being shaped into a form retaining body for the controlled transfer of heat by radiation, convection, and conduction.
Abstract: A boring mechanism bores an aperture through a stack of papers and a binding mechanism inserts a bonding tape having adhesive on one side through the aperture and partially about the stack of papers.
Abstract: An electrostatic supporting type acceleration detecting gyro apparatus is formed as an active type so as to be able to positively cancel a displacement of a gyro rotor. Control DC voltages for generating electrostatic supporting forces and displacement detection AC voltages for detecting a displacement of gyro rotor are applied to electrostatic supporting electrodes, and mechanism control circuits detect displacement indicating voltage signals (P.sub.1A) through (P.sub.4B). A displacement of the gyro rotor and the control DC voltages applied to the electrostatic supporting electrodes are computed based on the displacement detection voltages (P.sub.1A) through (P.sub.4B) outputted from the mechanism control circuits.
Abstract: Apparatus for inspecting the surface of objects such as band-like running material, which may be metal, paper, or textile, without stopping or reducing the speed of the inspection line, to determine the occurrence of defects. The inspected object surface image and defect data are recorded so that at a desirable later time, the defect data may be reviewed to make a judgement of acceptance or rejection of the object. The apparatus provides an effective control on production.
Abstract: The binding machine (1) using the tape employs the binding tape (6) having the bonding tape (7) coated on its rear surface with the adhesive and consists of the boring mechanism (2) for boring the aperture (h) through the papers (P) to be bound and the binding mechanism (3) which winds the bonding tape (7) around or halfway around the portion between the bored aperture (h) and the end surface (p.sub.1) of the papers (P) and so on to be bound and bonds the bonding tape (7) thereto.
Abstract: An auxiliary sun visor formed of a transparent polarized shield is removably attached to conventional vehicle sun visor in a manner allowing it to be pivoted without simultaneous movement of the conventional sun visor.
Abstract: An elongated operating shaft supporting a tool at one end, a drive motor at its other end, and transmission means extending through said shaft to drive said tool is provided with a control handle for adjusting the holding and guiding the position and orientation of said tool. The control handle is formed of a unitary body having a handgrip section and an attachment section, which is provided with a hole into which the supporting shaft is inserted and which is formed with sufficient clearance to permit said handle body to be rocked to and fro along the longitudinal axis of the shaft. Spring means is mounted for biasing said handle body along an axis having an inclined position with respect to the longitudinal axis of the shaft so that said surface of the shaft is contacted by the surface of the hole at at least two opposed points, thereby to normally lock the handle body in said inclined position.
Abstract: The paint mask comprises a first layer having an adhesive disposed on one surface thereof and a second layer removably affixed to the adhesive. A first die-cut penetrates the first layer and the adhesive layer, but not the second layer, for defining a predetermined design configuration. A second die-cut penetrates the second layer, but not the first layer and the adhesive, defining a preselected area of the second layer which is removable to expose a corresponding area of the adhesive for allowing the predetermined design configuration to be adhesively secured to a work surface to define the predetermined design configuration on the work surface.
Abstract: A plurality of supports are arranged about the periphery of the mouth of a fabric mail bag. The supports are formed of an elongate first part and an apertured second part. The supports have their first parts permanently secured to the fabric of the bag so that then second parts extend orthogonally therefrom. The supports serve to attach the bag to external supports and to normally bias the mouth open.

Abstract: A flower pot is provided having an upper pot section and a base reservoir section. The upper pot section is formed with an open top, a closed side wall and a slotted or perforated bottom wall. A concave depression is formed on the lower edge of the side wall and outer edge of the bottom wall tapering off upward and inward. Downwardly protruding from the slotted bottom wall of the upper pot section is a shaped footing section adapted to hold both soil and a substantial portion of the flower root system that has its own closed side walls and a bottom wall. A footing section extends down below the side wall of the base section. The downward protruding footing is perforated to allow water deposited in the base section to enter up into the roots.
Abstract: Apparatus is disclosed systematically to extract data from operating machines of the type used in gaming establishments. Various data is required by management to maximize the operation and the profit potential of a given machine is compiled in the machine itself. The compiled data is serially transferred to a memory device via a one-wire protocol. The memory device writes the data according a defined software routine. The contents of the memory device can be transferred to a computer for subsequent manipulation and display.

The bar is pivoted at its lower end to the chassis as to be conjointly tiltable with the seat back. Fixedly mounted about midway of the side edge of the seat back is a hasp through which the bar passes. The hasp and the bar are provided with cooperating locking devices so that the assembly can be fixed in a selected tilted position.
Abstract: A drill to cut hardly machinable materials has major flanks extending in a backward direction of rotation from major cutting edges with an ascending slope and ultra-hard cutting grains adhered to said major flanks, at least. When the rotating drill contacts the work-piece, the ultra-hard cutting grains adhered to the most backward part of the major flanks to the direction of rotation cut the work-piece at first. As the ultra-hard cutting grains of the major flanks drop off by the cutting, actual cutting parts move to adjacent part forward of the rotation of the major flanks. Finally, major cutting edges take over the cutting of the work-piece.
