Abstract: A heater system is provided that includes a plurality of carrier members, each carrier member defining an inner periphery surface, an outer receiving portion, and connecting portions. A plurality of resistive heating elements are disposed within the outer receiving portions of the carrier members, and end fittings are disposed proximate the carrier members and the resistive heating elements. A cover is disposed around the carrier members and the resistive heating elements, and the inner periphery surfaces of the carrier members are adapted to transfer heat to a target and the connecting portions are adapted to be secured to at least one of an adjacent carrier member and a heating target. In one form, at least one set of a carrier member and a resistive heating element are resiliently movable such that the heater system provides tactile feedback to an installer that the heater system is properly installed around a target.

A conference control system includes an AS and an MRS, where the AS is adapted to set a digit collection template for the conference session and send the set digit collection template information to the MRS, and adapted to receive the digit collection result from the MRS and control a conference according to the received digit collection result; the MRS is adapted to detect and collect dialing operations of participants on the conference session according to the digit collection template set by the AS, and send the digit collection result to the AS.

The method for producing an antibacterial composition involves adsorbing an aqueous solution of one or more bacteriophages, or one or more phage components, onto a matrix to produce a composition, and drying the composition to produce the antibacterial composition. An antibacterial composition comprising one or more strain of bacteriophage, or one or more phage component, adsorbed onto a matrix is also provided. The antibacterial composition, or the antibacterial composition embedded in a solid support, may be used within a cream, lotion or gel, be admixed with a pharmaceutical carrier and administered topically, orally, nasally, used as a powdered inhalant, or the antibacterial composition or encapsulated antibacterial composition, may be added to a feed for animal, aquatic or avian uses.

Abstract: A grinder includes a generally vertical, rotatable shaft having at least one set of cutter blades driven thereby and a fan assembly mounted on the shaft below the cutter blades in position to receive output therefrom. The fan assembly includes a fan disc secured to the shaft and rotatable therewith. Fan blades are secured to the fan disc in a generally radial orientation. Each fan blade includes a bottom flange secured to a top surface of the fan disc, a web extending upwardly from the bottom flange and a top flange extending outwardly from the web in a direction of rotation of the fan disc. The fan blades are preferably moveably mounted to the fan disc such that the angle of the fan blades relative to a true radial orientation can be adjusted.

Abstract: A controlled differential actuator particularly adapted for differential applications for motor vehicle powertrains. The differential operator incorporates an electromagnetically applied first or primary clutch coupled to a second multi-disc clutch pack through a ball ramp operator. Energization of the solenoid coil selectively applies the main clutch pack which is coupled to a differential carrier and one of the axle half shafts connected with the differential assembly. Modulation of current applied to the solenoid coil allows a selective frictional coupling between the differential axle half shafts which provides desirable traction features for the associated motor vehicle.

Abstract: A charging method for group main line, GML, service is disclosed. For an outgoing call from an extension of the GML, the initiated call is identified by adding a prefix for group service before the called number. When an intelligent network, IN, finds that there is the prefix for group service before the called number, the call is processed as collectively paid by the GML. A service control point, SCP, generates a call record for the call and places a special identification code in the call record. An incoming call redirected through the GML is also processed as collectively paid by the GML. The SCP generates a call record for the call and places a special identification code in the call record. The present invention also discloses a service control device.

Abstract: A system and methods are provided for extending the frequency bandwidth of a harmonic signal. Harmonic content of a band-limited signal is extended to frequencies outside the signal's passband by performing a non-linear transformation on the complex spectrum of the band-limited signal in the frequency domain. The non-linear transformation may be accomplishes by a linear convolution of the complex spectrum with itself. A system for extending the frequency bandwidth of a harmonic signal includes a signal processor with a forward transform module for transforming a time domain signal into the frequency domain, a non-linear transform module for performing the non-linear transformation on the complex spectrum of the harmonic signal, and a reverse transform module for transforming the extended spectrum of the harmonic signal back into the time domain.

Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention disclose a method for fast forward/backward play of video data includes: obtaining fast forward/backward index information that meets a fast forward/backward play request from a pre-generated fast forward/backward sequence index file according to the fast forward/backward play request from a client; and obtaining video data that meets the fast forward/backward play request from a pre-generated fast forward/backward sequence file according to the index information and transmitting the video data to the client via a network. An embodiment of the present invention also discloses a streaming server. With the method and streaming server provided by the present invention, the fast forward/backward video data reading efficiency of the streaming server may be improved.

Abstract: An advertisement impression distribution system includes a data processing system operable to generate an allocation plan for serving advertisement impressions. The allocation plan allocates a first portion of advertisement impressions to satisfy guaranteed demand and a second portion of advertisement impressions to satisfy non-guaranteed demand. The data processing system includes an optimizer to establish a relationship between the first portion and the second portion. The relationship defines a range of possible proportions of allocation of the first portion and the second portion. The optimizer generates indicia in accordance with maximizing guaranteed demand fairness or representativeness, maximizing non-guaranteed revenue, and minimizing under-delivery penalties, where the indicia indentifies a determined proportion of the first portion to serve and a determined proportion of the second portion to serve.

The PS multiplexer produces a PS by multiplexing ORG_PACK and NV_PACK received from the navigation manager, V_PACK received from a video transcoder, and A_PACK and SP_PACK received from the PS demultiplexer, and the PS multiplexer transmits the resultant PS to each sink device via an in-vehicle LAN interface.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the manufacture of a glass frit for the containment by vitrification of a material comprising at least one oxidizable or reducible chemical species, and also to a process for the containment of said material by vitrification. The process for the manufacture of the glass frit comprises a step of incorporating into a raw glass frit at least one redox couple, the nature and the amount of which make it possible to maintain said at least one chemical species in its oxidized or reduced state. The containment process comprises mixing and hot melting the resulting glass frit and the material to be contained. The present invention makes it possible to optimize the containment of pollutants such as radionucleides, metals and metalloids. The material may be nuclear waste or a material derived from the incineration of household refuse.

This hybrid power output system is compact in structure, can increase the power efficiency and reduce the fuel consumption, and can realize multiple drive modes.
