Abstract: A process for the preparation of amphoglycinates from vegetable oils or butters, which comprises:
a) reacting a source of vegetable triglycerids with aminoethylethanolamine in the presence of bases to give a hydroxyethylimidazoline of formula (II)
wherein R is the residue of the vegetable triglycerid fatty acid;
b) reacting compound (II) with an alkali or alkaline-earth monohaloacetate at pH above 9, followed by acidification.
Abstract: The prevent invention provides a fire prevention automation commanding control system using satellite-location/geography-information, which uses a central processing computer to integrate radio transmission, satellite location, geography information, facility control, image monitoring, underground piping control, piping monitoring, mobile/stationary communication, and a fire detection alarm device into an integrated fire prevention system performing automatic command, control, communication, information processing and on-site evidence collection, i.e., so-called C31 system, so that it is possible to rapidly detect fire and effectively command and control the rescue operation.

Abstract: The invention concerns pyrotechnic mixtures generating non-toxic gases characterised in that they essentially consist of a cross-linkable reducing binder based on epoxy resin or silicone resin, an oxidising filler based on ammonium perchlorate and a chlorine scavenger such as sodium nitrate and energetic additives consisting of a cupric compound such as cupric oxide or basic copper nitrate and of a nitrogenated organic compound such as, for example, nitroguanidin or guanidine nitrate. The filler can also contain potassium perchlorate. Said compositions burn at moderate temperatures generating gases rich in nitrogen and poor in nitrogen oxides and carbon monoxide. They are most suitable as pyrotechnic load for gas generators designed to inflate protective air bags for motor vehicle passengers.

Abstract: A plastic bellow system inserted into the sole of a shoe. The system having a first pair and a second pair of side-by-side plastic bellows in the forward portion and the rear portion of the shoe sole. The bellows placed in hollows formed in a midsole. The first pair of bellows having two convolutions with an opening formed in the lower convolution. The second pair of bellows having three convolutions with an opening formed in the lower convolution. A pneumatic valve associated with each bellows and the exterior of the midsole. The user can modify foot position by operating the valve of each bellows of the first and second pair of plastic bellows to inflate or deflate each bellows to thereby modify the volume of each bellows.

Abstract: Traffic control system for timely signalling an obstruction in the roadway as a result of accidents, traffic jams etc., in order to signal the presence of the obstruction to the arriving vehicles. The control system consists of a plurality of autonomous cooperating detecting units distributed along the road, wherein each detecting unit includes a control plant formed by a sensor of the presence of motor-vehicles, a timer unit receiving the signals provided by the sensor when the vehicles are passing and letting only a signal longer than a pre-established time to pass, in the case in which a vehicle column has been formed, and a central control unit receiving the signals from the sensor and the timer unit and adapted to control an alarm when the column is formed, and radio-transmitter units and radio-receiver units. The system is housed inside an envelope shaped preferably as a curbstone.
Abstract: On the-inside of heated molds hollow bodies are formed by vulcanization, the bodies are formed of elements from natural or synthetic rubber and/or treated elastomers, possibly associated with different materials such as leather, skin, cotton, metals, expanded rubbers and others, combined with each other. A pressurized fluid, such as hot or cold air, vapor or compatible gas, is injected between the hollow bodies being formed. During vulcanization, the components, airtight-coupled with each other along at least a contact and sealing common line, are pushed and kept in forming adhesion against the mold surfaces by the pressurized fluid.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a two-output voltage test system, wherein the system includes a plurality of D/A converters, buffers, sinusoidal wave generators, power amplifiers, and a micro-processing controller. The two-output voltage test system provides for a number of processes including one group of the plurality of D/A converters, buffers, sinusoidal wave generators, and power amplifiers to perform the measurement of AC voltage durability (WAC), DC voltage durability (WDC), insulation resistance (IR), and leakage current (LK). The other group of the plurality of D/A converters, buffers, sinusoidal wave generators, and power amplifiers performs the measurement of ground resistance (GR). The micro-processing controller outputs the measurements simultaneously or with slight time delay in order to obtain the results measured at the same time.
Abstract: A throwaway dog's dung bag and adjustable tie-belt combination unit includes a throwaway bag and tie-belts for fixing the bag on dog's buttocks, wherein the bag is a soft sack with hard frame on its mouth. Hook rabbets are provided on the two flanks of the frame. A vertical tie-belt is fixed to surround dog's abdomen or legs. Two horizontal tie-belts, one end of which is separately connected to the two flanks of the vertical tie-belt, while the free end of which has hooks for hooking into the rabbets in bag frames. Thus, the bag can be fixed to the dog's buttocks. The opening of the frame is placed against dog's anus to receive excreta. Such unit can enhance environment protection and sanitation conditions.

The tube is disposed between the low-pressure side of the air conditioning equipment and the compressor, for the purpose of reducing the temperature of the heat transfer medium and thus reducing the temperature of the high temperature superheated refrigerant vapor within the submersible heat dissipated tube.

The invention also concerns a method of preparing this polyurethane elastomer which can be melt-spun to form fibres or melt-extruded to form foils. The fibres or foils can be exposed to energy-rich radiation such that crosslinking of the polyurethane occurs. Fibres according to the invention display superior properties in terms of textile-mechanical properties, in particular good tensile strength, elongation at tear, residual elongation and heat distortion temperature.
