Abstract: The present invention concerns a hinge for the hinging of spectacle temples, which allows the automatic closing of the temples on the same front of spectacle which has been removed from the head or which features one or both temples in open or wide-open position. A hinging element is provided attached to the endpiece of the front, which is cam-shaped with an eccentric profile progressively increasing from its internal position to its external position and on which a follower runs. The follower is guided in an axial hole 23 in the temple 20 to be hinged and together with an elastic medium which acts axially with the hinge pin while the follower works on an inclined plane produced by the shape of the cam to help the automatic return of the temple 20 in the closing phase.

Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the preparation of N,N′-carbonylbislactams by reaction of phosgene with at least one lactam which is characterized in that the tertiary amine is chosen from the group consisting of non-nucleophilic aliphatic tertiary amines. N,N′-Carbonylbislactams of high purity are thus obtained with good yields, both in the laboratory and on the industrial scale.

Abstract: The invention disclosed a method for digital image interpolation and sharpness enhancement, said method includes the following steps: 1) Inputting an image signal Xij to a first interpolation low pass filter FIR 1, said FIR 1 is a cubic interpolation filter having filter coefficient hi(n); 2) inputting an image signal Xij to at least one of second interpolation low pass filters FIR 2, said FIR 2 is an interpolation filter having filter coefficient hi′(n), wherein said FIR 2 has a cut-off frequency lower than that of said FIR 1; 3) making FIR 1 outputted via a band pass filter to obtain an image signal tij; 4) making FIR 2 outputted via a delay buffer to obtain an image signal tij′; 5) inputting said image signal tij and tij′ to a subtractor to get a differential signal tij−tij′; and 6) obtaining an output of image signal Yij by means of the following equation: Yij=tij+S·(tij−tij′), where S is a sharpness level control coefficient.

Abstract: The invention disclosed a method and system for multi-port synchronous high voltage testing, which mainly uses two or more sets of testing circuit with variable output condition and a high voltage generator with zero intermediate voltage for synchronous high voltage testing. Therefore it is not only possible to prevent operators from electric shock but also to provide correct multi-port testing voltages so as not to cause object under test damage. The testing circuit uses a plurality sets of individual high voltage generator and a current detector for providing functions for reading and determining individual voltage and current, so that it is possible to perform several high voltage tests during a single test period and complete tests on electric products. It is therefore possible to achieve both reduction of test-time and safety of operators.

Abstract: A forceps is described which is self-locking and is used for raising slabs. It is of the type which has two jaws in hard steel which are reciprocally hinged so that they may be closed or opened with automatic locking when they come in contact with the product to be moved. The forceps is characterized by the fact that it is composed of three elements, precisely a fixed body (2), a cam (3) and a movable carriage which holds the cam, and in which the fixed jaw comes in contact in a gripping manner with the pushing force generated by the counterposed cam thus achieving in this manner the closure of the product being raised.

Abstract: An ecological carriage for drums is described which is constituted by a metallic structure and a basin. The drum is disposed with an horizontal axis and rests on the metallic structure. The basin is below the drum and functions as a bowl to collect fluids, mineral oils and similar fluids which are lost or spilled during the decanting or due to rupture of the drum. This assembly is mounted on a base provided with wheels. The carriage is characterized by the fact that the structure supporting the drum is capable of rotating from a position essentially horizontal to a position essentially vertical and vice versa.

Abstract: The invention relates to an improved process for the preparation of N-carboxyanhydrides by reaction of the corresponding amino acid or one of its salts with phosgene, diphosgene and/or triphosgene in a solvent medium, characterized in that at least a portion of the reaction is carried out under a pressure of less than 1000 mbar.
