Abstract: A method for the production of aliphatic fluoroformates, wherein carbonyl fluoride is made to react with aliphatic alcohol in the presence of sodium fluoride in ether at a temperature of ?20° to 50° C. The method is carried out using carbonyl fluoride obtained by reacting phosgene with surplus powdered sodium fluoride, whereby the grains thereof have a specific surface of 0.1 m2/g or more and/or an average diameter of 20 ?m or less, at a temperature ranging from 25° to 120° C. The method enables unstable fluoroformates such as tertiobutyl to be obtained with excellent yields.

Abstract: There is disclosed a method for manufacturing products through the use of waste materials of various kind, such as heterogeneous plastic materials, wood, minerals, etc., derived from recycling processes, differentiated waste collection systems, solid urban wastes, industrial processing scraps or by-products, and the like, such products being adapted to be used in a wide range of most varied applications, particularly though not exclusively for manufacturing structural parts and decorative finishes for office furniture as well as furniture for cinematography theaters, communities, concert halls and the like.
Abstract: An automatic regulator of the air intake in a tank installed in a circuit for the production of compressed air wherein the regulator provides that the intake orifice (7) which aspires external air is operated in opening/closing by means of a disk shutter. The disk shutter is provided with a tang which idly slides on a central hub. The disk shutter is subjected to the biasing action of a spring which sits in the hub and to the balancing action of a flux of air removed from the separator tank.
Abstract: Informative data identifying device for spectacles, adapted to permit informative data of any kind concerning the spectacles to be identified by utilizing a device associated with a display. A device comprising a circuital element (6, 8; 25) is arranged on the spectacles and interconnected with a receiver-transmitter device (11, 29) and the display (12), the circuital element (6, 8; 25) being adapted to receive, store and manage the informative data of the spectacles, as coded informations, which have been set on the receiver-transmitter device (11, 29) and displayed on the display (12), and an additional circuital device (8, 30) interacting with the circuital device (6, 8; 25) and being adapted to detect the informative data of the spectacles which have been stored and managed on the circuital device (6, 8; 25), by transferring them toward the receiver-transmitter device (11, 29) for recognizing and managing such informative data with the aid of the display (12).
Abstract: The invention relates to an integrated method for manufacturing a combined solid immersion lens (SIL) and submicron aperture, and device thereof, comprising depositing a sacrificial layer on a substrate, coating a photoresist on the sacrificial layer and using photo-lithography to form an aperture on the photoresist, applying reflow and etching process to remove the sacrificial layer below the aperture, depositing a conductive material on the photoresist and performing electroplating to reduce the aperture size, then coating another photoresist and using photo-lithography to form a cylindrical phtoresist above the aperture, applying a high temperature thermal reflow to form a microlens, and finally removing the substrate to obtain an optical read/write apparatus with a combined solid immersion lens (SIL) and submicron aperture.

Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the synthesis of aryl alkyl monoethers by reaction of a phenol compound, comprising one or more hydroxyl groups attached to the aromatic system, and of a dialkyl carbonate. It is a solvent-free process carried out at a pressure of between 0.93×105 Pa and 1.07×105 Pa, at a temperature of between 100° C. and 200° C., and in the presence of a catalyst chosen from the group consisting of alkaline carbonates and alkaline hydroxides. The dialkyl carbonate is added gradually to the reaction mixture.

Abstract: A spinning top rotor generator system comprises: a stator including a plurality of windings provided on an armature iron core; a rotor supported at the center of the stator by means of a rotary structure, a pole iron core having a plurality of windings provided thereon for generating a magnetic flux, by an external direct current power source applied therefor, to generate a revolving magnetic field and then induce an electromotive force on the stator armature correspondingly, by which an alternating current is outputted through a plurality of leads connected to the armature windings when the rotor rotates; wherein the stator and the rotor are held by flexible frames to be normal to each other, a downward end of the rotor shaft having a tapered tip supporting a majority of weight by the end thereof on a bearing base; a auxiliary motor, held flexibly on the top of the generator rotor, driving another end of the rotor shaft to turn the rotor turning around the tapered tip, functioned as the rotation center.
Abstract: Apparatus for displaying objects having a lower part fixed to an underframe and an upper part pivotally attached to the lower part. The upper part includes front, rear, right, left and upper side parts, of which at least the upper side part consists of a glass pane and wherein the upper part can be moved by an electric motor.
Abstract: A method is described for preparing mixtures of salts and/or other substances in general, including calcium and magnesium salts with carbon dioxide in pressurized containers, for the purpose of producing systems for the delivery of said mixtures in soluble form and at a predetermined and constant saline concentration, for a wide variety of applications. The mixtures containing the substances are prepared in a stirred reactor under a pressure of carbon dioxide, and from there are brought into use after they have been transferred into containers that are suitable for maintaining the internal pressure generated by the carbon dioxide in the form of vapor, in the form of a liquid/vapor mixture or under supercritical conditions.
Abstract: A radiator for a centralized heating system includes a plurality of tubular elements (1) and (2), reciprocally connected. The radiator is inserted in a hydraulic circuit in which flows a liquid heated by a boiler and circulated in a natural or forced manner. The liquid gives heat to the exterior through the lateral surfaces of the tubular elements. The tubular elements (1) and (2) are fixed one to the other by screw elements (3) which are provided with hydraulic sealing means whereby the discharge of the liquid from the tubular elements is prevented.
Abstract: There is provided an improved lever device for clamps of a garment-hanger, wherein the interior section, which press on the fabric the hung cloth, is coated by a strip of soft material, which is joined to the undersurface by means of a peripheral welding cord which is placed substantially along the external profile of the welded strip.
Abstract: An air/oil separation tank for installation in a circuit for the production of compressed air, the circuit including an intake regulator (1) which intercepts external air and sends the air to an oil bath spin compressor (2) which is activated by an electric motor (3). The pressurized air/oil mixture produced by the compressor, passes through conduit (4) to enter separation tank (5) in which the separation of the oil from the air occurs. The air under pressure passes through radiator (6) and fills accumulation tank (7) waiting to be used, while the oil (8) deposited at the bottom of the separator, is picked up by conduit (9) and passes through radiator (10) to be brought again to compressor (2). This separation tank is characterized by the fact that the entry port of the air/oil mixture is placed on the upper wall or cover of the vessel.
