Abstract: RFID method and system are provided. A reader transmits a reader signal to beacon tags and a listening tag. The beacon tags transmit beacon signals including a beacon identification and a beacon distance to the reader. The listening tag receives the beacon signals. Neighbor distances are calculated for the beacon tags based on when the beacon signals are received, when the listening tag receives the reader signal, and a constant processing time. The neighbor distances are the individual distances from the listening tag to the beacon tags. A list is stored including the beacon identification for the beacon tags, the beacon distance, and the neighbor distances. The listening tag transmits the list and a listening tag identification to the reader. A geographical position of the listening tag is calculated based on the beacon distance, beacon coordinates, and a listening tag distance which is from the reader to the listening tag.

Abstract: Techniques for writing to memory using adaptive write techniques. An adaptive write technique includes receiving at a computer a message including a plurality of symbols. The message is written to a memory. The writing to memory includes performing for each symbol in the message: writing a data value to a memory location in the memory and reading contents of the memory location after the data value has been written. The data value is determined at the computer in response to the symbol and to the contents of any memory locations previously read as part of writing the message to the memory. It is determined at the computer if the contents of the memory locations reflect the message. The writing is restarted at the computer in response to determining that the contents of the memory locations do not reflect the message.

Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention may incorporate a physics based approach (hereinafter “model”) to determine the level of the liquid. The model may incorporate the physical properties of the fluids within the container, and measurements of the fluid under consideration. The model may also incorporate data from measuring devices, such as, but not limiting of, a delta-pressure (DP) transmitter. The model may then calculate, within a reasonable level of accuracy, the level of the fluid within the container.

Abstract: A system and method for detecting hold path faults in an integrated circuit is provided in exemplary embodiments. These exemplary embodiments introduce a method of identifying data paths within an integrated circuit with statistically the highest timing slack among the data paths within the integrated circuit that cover the entire process space of the circuit. By identifying these paths (i.e., shortest data paths), a robust test pattern can be generated that directly tests for hold path faults on short data paths within the integrated circuit using one functional clock pulse.

Abstract: A parallax calculator sets a plurality of target points in each standard image and calculates parallaxes of the individual target points. An optical flow calculator calculates two-dimensional optical flows of the individual target points by searching for points corresponding to the target points set in the standard image captured in a frame immediately preceding a current frame. A movement calculation block calculates a forward moving speed of the moving body and angular velocities thereof in both a pitch direction and a pan direction.
Abstract: Gum manufacturing machinery and method of manufacturing gum is illustrated in which a gum loafing machine generates loaves of finished gum that are then subsequently run through a gum conditioner to more uniformly set the temperature and viscosity of the gum material prior to further processing. Upon achieving the appropriate conditioning level, a further forming extruder may be used to generate a continuous gum ribbon for subsequent rolling and scoring operations. The gum conditioner may include vertically stacked conveyors that have different operational modes including a first mode that provides a serpentine path for a long residence time and a second mode that provides a cascading path that avoids or bypasses much of the length of some of the conveyors to provide a shorter residence time. The gum manufacturing machinery may be used in an adjustable manner so as to accommodate difference gum recipes for different batches of gum product.
