Abstract: A clip strip is formed as a unitary member which includes an elongated panel and an array of clips mounted on flexible resilient supports which project from the panel. Pressing on a first end of one of the clips moves the opposite end of the chip away from the elongated panel allowing merchandise to be inserted between the opposite end of the clip and the elongated panel. The resilient action of the support returning toward its unstressed condition holds the merchandise to the elongated panel. Alternatively merchandise having apertures may be hung on the first end of the clips.

Abstract: A hand wheel device is to be secured to a motor driven bolt for selectively actuating the motor driven bolt. The hand wheel device includes a barrel secured to the bolt, a disc and a plate secured on the barrel and having a number of teeth. A wheel is rotatably and slidably engaged on the barrel and has a number of teeth extended toward the plate for engaging with the teeth of the plate. A spring may bias the teeth of the wheel away from the teeth of the plate. A spacer device may selectively space the teeth of the wheel away from the teeth of the plate such that the wheel may be disengaged from the bolt when it is not required to use the wheel to rotate the bolt.

Abstract: Jaw members for a pair of pliers includes a first jaw member connected to the first handle and a second jaw member connected to a second handle which is pivotally connected to the first handle. An inner side of the first jaw member includes a first and a second function surface, wherein the second function surface extends inclinedly corresponding to a longitudinal axis of the first handle and toward the second jaw member. A function member is pivotally mounted to an inner side of the second jaw member with a spring biasedly connected therebetween.

Abstract: A hair holder includes two symmetric holder members made of flexible material. Each holder member includes a first portion for holding hair, a second portion for retaining hair, and a transition portion interconnecting the first portion and the second portion in an acute angle to thereby define a hair holding space therebetween. The first portion of each holder member includes a number of first slits spaced along a width thereof to thereby define a number of first teeth spaced along the width. The second portion of each holder member includes a number of second slits spaced along a width thereof to thereby define a number of second teeth spaced along the width. The width of each second tooth increases from a distal end of the second portion to the transition portion, thereby defining an engaging portion adjacent to the transition portion.

Abstract: A driving mechanism for a sewing machine includes a rotatable shaft coupled to one or more needles for moving the needles upward and downward in a reciprocating action. A rotary looper is rotatably secured to the sewing machine at a vertical axle and is coupled to the shaft for allowing the shaft to actuate the needles and the rotary looper simultaneously. A rod is vertically secured in the sewing machine and coupled to the rotary looper for rotating the rotary looper. Two bevel gears are secured to the rod and the shaft for allowing the shaft to rotate the vertical rod.

Abstract: A pair of swimming goggles includes two lenses, two pads, a bridge, and a strap. The lenses are made of transparent material and each includes a recessed section for receiving an eye portion of a user. Each lens further includes an inner end, a streamlined outer end, and a flange formed on an inner side thereof. The bridge interconnects the inner ends of the lenses. The pads are substantially ring-like and made of plastic material. Each pad includes a receiving section for receiving an associated flange and a contact section for providing a close, comfortable contact with the user's eye socket. Each pad further includes an outer end with an opening through which one of the ends of the strap is wound. The strap connection is thus improved to provide a larger visual angle, increase safety, and provide a comfortable and reliable contact with the user's head.

Abstract: A ratchet wrench includes a head having a slot for receiving a pawl. A driving member and an actuator are rotatably engaged in the head. A spring is engaged in the actuator and includes an arm engaged in an oblong hole of the pawl for allowing the actuator to rotate and to move the pawl to either of the narrower ends of the slot. The driving member may be rotated by the head in one direction when the pawl is engaged in one of the narrower ends of the slot and may be rotated in a reverse direction when the pawl is engaged in the other narrower end.

Abstract: A work bench includes a table secured on top of a base and having a pair of parallel grooves. Two pairs of sprockets are rotatably secured to the table and extended inward of the grooves. Two endless chains are engaged with the sprockets and each has a portion slidably engaged in the grooves. A guide is secured to the chains and moveable in concert with the chains. Two couplers are secured between the guide and the chains. One of the couplers includes a downward dependent ear for slidably engaging with the table. A quick release device is secured to the other coupler for engaging with the table and for locking the guide to the table. The guide may be quickly adjusted relative to the table when the quick release device is released.

Abstract: A bicycle carrier includes two frames between which a connecting device and an engaging device are respectively disposed. One of the frames has a tongue member extending laterally from a lower end thereof. The engaging device includes a retaining member having an open bottom and a second recess is defined in a peripheral wall of the retaining member and communicates with the open bottom so that a connecting sphere of a car is received in the retaining member via the open bottom and limited by the tongue member.

Abstract: A hair holding device includes a number of first plates and a corresponding number of second plates arranged in an annular manner. Each first plate is engaged with three second plates, and each second plate engages with three first plates. Each second plate includes a fastening member formed on a first lateral side thereof and an engaging member formed on a second lateral side thereof such that the engaging member of each second plate may releasably receive the fastening member of an adjacent second plate. The engaging member includes two flexible pieces projected from the second side of the second plate and having a receiving compartment therebetween. Each flexible piece has an engaging tooth formed on a side thereof that faces the other flexible piece. In addition, the fastening member includes a number of teeth on each of two sides thereof so as to be selectively engaged with the engaging teeth of the flexible pieces.

Abstract: A ceiling fan housing includes a cylindrical member having a number of openings and includes a bottom portion having a number of punctures. A number of panels are secured to the cylindrical member and the bottom portion and engaged in the openings 8 the cylindrical member and in the of the bottom portion punctures. The panels each include a plate engaged in the openings of the cylindrical member or the bottom portion flush with its associated outer peripheral surface of the ceiling fan housing. The panels include beautiful colors and are directly secured to the ceiling fan housing for reducing the cost and for simplifying and accelerating the manufacturing processes.

Abstract: A cargo positioning device includes an outer tube having a base fixed to an end thereof, a rack-like inner tube having an end slidably received in the outer tube, a gear rotatably supported by the base and meshed with the rack-like inner tube, a handle having an end pivotally connected to the base, and a catch member releasably engaged with a ratchet wheel that is formed on a side of the gear. The handle can be retained in either a first retaining position to prevent from rotation of the gear or a second retaining position to allow rapid outstretching or retraction of the inner tube away from or into the outer tube. The handle is also operable to allow outstretching of the inner tube.

Abstract: A motor housing is made of glass material and includes an inner middle peripheral portion having three or more curved and convex reinforcing swellings. The reinforcing swellings each includes a larger thickness than the other portions of the motor housing so as to increase the strength of the motor housing. The reinforcing swellings of the motor housing each includes one or more stepped holes for engaging with bolts and the heads of the bolts and for preventing the motor housing from being easily broken while drilling the stepped holes.

Abstract: A ceiling fan housing includes a cylindrical member of transparent material and a cover engaged on top of the cylindrical member. A frame is received in the cylindrical member and disposed between the bottom plate and the cover and includes one or more panels. A number of fasteners may secure the cylindrical member and the cover and the frame together. The frame includes a ring. The panels are extended radially outward from the ring for allowing the frame to be easily assembled to the cylindrical member and the cover by the fasteners.

Abstract: A hair holder includes an arcuate main body having two engaging ends each having a slot defined by two lateral sides. A connecting rod is extended between the lateral sides. Two side members are releasably connected to the engaging ends of the main body, respectively. Each side member includes a first end having an engaging stub projected therefrom and a second end. The engaging stub includes a root end connected to the side member and a distal end. The root end includes a recessed section with a retaining edge. The distal end includes an engaging notch defined therein and an abutting section. Each engaging stub is releasably and pivotally engaged with an associated engaging end. The engaging notch receives the connecting rod and allows pivotal movement of the engaging stub between an extended position and a folded position relative to the connecting rod.
