  • Patent number: 7730621
Abstract: A shaving foil for a dry shaver has a plurality of perforation arranged in an array. The shaving foil is formed in its skin contact surface with a plurality of recesses which define a thin section of reduced thickness at the recesses, while leaving thick sections at the remainder of the foil. Each perforation is configured to have its circumference defined partly by the thin section and partly by the thick section. Both of the thin and thick sections can come into contact with a user's skin for smoothly guiding hairs into the perforations to make close shaving without irritating the skin, while the shaving foil is moved across the skin. Especially, the thin sections act to cut the hairs shorter than the thick section, as wall as to raise flattened hairs into the perforations for successfully cutting the flattened hairs.

  • Patent number: 7723211
Abstract: An arithmetic processing part in a controller detects a position of a defect such as a chip or a crack that occurs at an outer periphery of a semiconductor wafer, and then a memory in the controller stores position information of the defect. The controller reads the position information of the defect through a network in each process. On the basis of this position information, the controller determines a direction of joining a dicing tape to the semiconductor wafer or a direction of separating a protective tape from a front face of the semiconductor wafer.

  • Patent number: 7683952
Abstract: In an image sensor of this invention, each image information detecting unit has one photoelectric converter, eight signal fetch gates for fetching signal charges from the photoelectric converter, and eight store and forward CCD arrays extending parallel to one another and connected to the signal fetch gates, respectively, for storing the signal charges. Only one of the eight signal fetch gates is switched ON in each electronic shuttering cycle synonymous with a photography cycle, to deliver a signal charge to a corresponding one of the store CCD arrays. When signal charges have been stored in all the first cells of the store CCD arrays after eight electronic shuttering cycles, the eight store CCD arrays perform one transfer operation all at once, to forward, in parallel, the eight signal charges to the next cells. This operation is repeated to perform high-speed photography at eight times the transfer speed of the store CCD arrays.
