Abstract: A semiconductor wafer made from silicon which is doped with hydrogen. The hydrogen concentration is less than 5*1016 atcm?3 and greater than 1*1012 atcm?3. A method for producing a semiconductor wafer from silicon includes separating the semiconductor wafer from a silicon single crystal, with the single silicon crystal being pulled from a melt, in the presence of hydrogen, using the Czochralski method. The hydrogen partial pressure during the pulling of the single silicon crystal is less than 3 mbar.

Abstract: With a method or a device for producing 1,2-dichloroethane or ethylene (di)chloride (EDC) with the use of a circulating reaction medium and a catalyst, whereby ethylene and chlorine are supplied to the reaction medium, the goal is to permit the catalytic chlorination of ethylene in a manner that is particularly gentle to the product. This is achieved in terms of the method and by other means in that the ethylene or chlorine gas are introduced into the reaction medium by means of microporous gas diffuser elements for producing gas bubbles with a diameter of 0.3 to 3 mm.

Abstract: The invention describes an apparatus for cooling and calibrating an extruded plastic profile (2) with a cooling tank (4) receiving a cooling liquid, with calibrating elements (5) disposed within the cooling tank (4) for the plastic profile (2) subjected to the cooling liquid, and with a draw-off device (7) which is disposed downstream of the cooling tank (4) in the draw-off direction of the plastic profile (2). Abstract: A silicon single crystal is produced by crucible-free float zone pulling, has a diameter of at least 200 mm over a length of at least 200 mm and is free of dislocations in the region of this length. A silicon wafer is separated from the silicon single crystal by a process for producing the silicon single crystal. The silicon single crystal is produced by crucible-free float zone pulling in a receptacle, in which an atmosphere of inert gas and nitrogen exerts a pressure of 1.5-2.2 bar, the atmosphere being continuously exchanged, with the volume of the receptacle being exchanged at least twice per hour. A flat coil with an external diameter of at least 220 mm is inserted in order to melt a stock ingot. The single crystal is pulled at a rate in a range from 1.4-2.2 mm/min and is periodically rotated through a sequence of rotation angles.

Abstract: An air supply organizer for an aquarium that provides forced air from an air pump outside of the aquarium to decorative accessories in the aquarium. The air supply organizer comprises a vertical tube that runs from the top of the aquarium, along the side of the aquarium to the bottom of the aquarium. There it is coupled to a horizontal tube that runs along the bottom of the aquarium. The vertical tube and horizontal tube are frictionally coupled by an L-shaped joint piece. Flexible plastic tubing runs from the air pump through the vertical tube and the horizontal tube, providing forced air to decorative aquarium accessories. The horizontal tube and L-shaped joint piece are able to be concealed under sand or gravel on the base of the aquarium permitting the flexible plastic tubing to reach the decorative accessories without being visible.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for producing bound written material with representative covers, for marketing texts, magazines, construction plans, collections of drawings, contracts, offers and promotional literature (catalogues) as required in small to medium sizes. A heatable ceramic surface with an integrated heating element has several inductive and thermal sensors on its underside, for detecting covers with a metal inlay and for controlling the heat output. Said inductive sensors are partially also supplemented with sensors with microswitches, optical sensors and additionally, a pressure sensor if the device is to be used for binding covers consisting of non metallic materials at the same time. The very short time for heating up the ceramic heating surface made technically possible by the invention and the use of the stored temperature is made optimal use of through an internal flap system which is motor-operated.
Abstract: A device for mixing two paste like compounds, such as a dental molding compound using a catalyst for the acceleration of polymerization. The housing has a mixing area with at least two inlet openings for the compounds and an outlet opening for the mixed compound. The device also has a mixing element that is disposed in the mixing area and propelled around a longitudinal axis. The housing has a coupling section that is situated in front of the mixing area with two coupling openings for connecting with two dispensing openings of a device for dispensing the two paste like compounds. The first and second ducts connect to the couplings via the coupling openings extending through the coupling section into the inlet openings for the mixing area. The two ducts are formed so that the first duct requires a greater time of entry of the compound into the mixing area than the time required for the second compound flowing through the second duct.

The invention provides for a functional support insert which can be inserted into the support receiving area formed in the lower section of the filter housing and which contains the outlet channel, in order to simplify the production of the liquid filter.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for marking material defects in/on bar-shaped rolled material after it has left the finishing rolling mill. According to this method, the defective points are detected during the rolling process by ultrasound testing and/or inductive testing and this information is supplied to a computer, which identifies and stores the defective points according to their type and position in the rolled product. The computer then uses this data to control a marking device in such a way that the bar-shaped finished material is marked according to the defect type, respectively, at the point determined by the computer.
