Abstract: In a method and a device for discharging poorly pourable bulk materials from a receptacle, the material is first rendered free-flowing via a helically shaped agitating element (worm conveyer) and secondly discharged from the receptacle via a spiral shaped agitation element (spiral conveyer). Both elements are mechanically coupled at their respective lose ends. The respective other ends of the agitating elements are attached to a common shaft. The shaft connects to a gear drive at its upper end which provides for the rotational movement of the two agitating agents. The rotation of the worm conveyor transports the material situated between the turns of the worm conveyer upward to the bulk material surface. This breaks up the bulk material. Material that has been brought up by the worm conveyer flows downward again due to the gravitational force. Some of the material flows back along the outer space around the worm conveyer while the other portion moves down through the center of the worm conveyer.

Abstract: A method and device for producing subsurface markings in a transparent material body by focusing a pulsed laser beam in the interior of the material body so that the laser beam exceeds the destruction threshold of the material body to produce a permanent marking. Individual markings form a freely selectable internal engraving as a result of a relative movement between the laser beam and the material body. The laser pulse is varied with respect to its pulse energy (P) by means of a discharge pulse (E) that has an adjustable time delay from an excitation pulse (A). Markings that have varying optical properties depending on the pulse energy (P) are produced in this fashion.
Abstract: An oxygen cart comprises a post connected to a handle and a bracket, a plurality of wheels connected to an underside of the bracket, at least one tank holder connected to an upper side of the bracket for holding portable gas tanks, and a tank support wall connected to and extending up from the tank holder said tank support wall keeping a gas tank in the holder when the cart is moving. There is a cart support surface connected to a lower end of the tank support wall for stabilizing the cart in an upright position when the cart is not moving. In order to accommodate several sizes of tanks, the tank holder has an upper section and a lower section, the upper section having diameter larger than the lower section, such that the upper section accommodates one size gas tank, and the lower section accommodates a different, smaller size gas tank. To accommodate an even smaller tank, a ring having an inner circumference that is smaller than a circumference of the lower section is used.

Abstract: A tube-like reflector insert for a sensor is located in a rigid, light-absorbing sleeve that is closed on one side, and forms a two-part reflector body with the sleeve. A nut is glued onto the open side of the sleeve to enclose the reflector insert. The intravasal part of the sensor is guided in a protective tube having connector threads glued on on both sides. This protective tube is screwed onto the Y connector piece and the reflector sleeve with the nuts. The tip of the sensor is inserted with slight play into the sensor cavity of the reflector insert. The play ensures that sterilization gas can reach all of the intravasal surfaces. The reflector is attached to the sensor via a screw connection outside of the intravasal region, which ensures that the intravasal sensor part is not exposed to clamping stress. Free access for sterilization gas is possible at all intravasal surfaces of the sensor.
