Abstract: A hand-held, portable, electronic calculator assembly including a body with a gripping and covering member for making the calculator fully operable by the user with one hand and for covering the keyboard of the calculator to prevent damage to the keyboard or depression of the keys when not in use. The hand-held electronic calculator assembly includes a calculator body member having a front surface, the front surface containing means for receiving a covering and gripping member and containing keyboard means, a back surface opposite the front surface containing means for receiving and gripping the covering member, and a gripping and covering member adapted for placement on the back surface of the calculator to enable operation and holding of the calculator by one hand and for placement on the top surface of the electronic calculator for covering the keyboard.
Abstract: A drying oven for drying materials which give off noxious fumes is disclosed. The drying oven comprises a drying chamber having a circular top wall and a downwardly depending sidewall which is closed off at its bottom by a bottom wall. The circular top wall has an exhaust port which is eccentric therewith. The sidewall has means for introducing dry gas into the drying chamber through an intake port which is located directly beneath the exhaust port. A doorway is also provided for allowing the introduction of the material to be dried into the exhaust chamber. There is no requirement that the doorway have elaborate pressure seals as the pressures within the chamber do not rise appreciably above ambient pressures due to the unique location of the exhaust port with reference to the location of the introduction of the dry air.
Abstract: A rotatable perforated molding element for embossing and/or perforating thermoplastic sheet or film, the molding element including a series of perforated strips having two parallel sides and two parallel ends, the strips being wrapped about a supporting drum in a manner such that the ends of the molding strips lie in a plane generally perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the molding element and the sides of the adjacent strips contact each other, and a method for connecting the rotatable perforated molding element to a supporting drum including wrapping a series of perforated strips having two parallel sides and two parallel ends about the supporting drum in a manner such that the ends of the molding element lie in a plane generally perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the molding element and the sides of the adjacent strips contact each other, and securing the ends of the strips to the drum.

Abstract: A manually actuated trigger pump is adapted to be fitted on the neck of a container for dispensing a liquid therefrom. The pump includes a main housing with a trigger connected thereto, a flexible bladder which fits in the housing and is engagable by the trigger, and a nozzle which is attached to the housing. The trigger engages the bladder to pump fluid from the bladder outwardly through the nozzle.
Abstract: An apparatus for adapting a conventional, mechanical cigarette vending machine to dispense cigarette packages of increased length. The apparatus is an elongated, substantially rectangular sleeve for holding a series of longer cigarette packs in a vertically stacked position. The sleeve is suspended in the space left between two adjacent dividers of a conventional cigarette machine magazine after removing the divider therebetween. Two lips are provided at the top of the apparatus and one toward the bottom of the apparatus to support the apparatus between the two adjacent dividers and to connect the apparatus to the rear of the machine.
Abstract: A trailer light assembly for use on boat trailers, which assembly is capable of maintaining a light fixture component of the assembly at such a height that the light fixture is not brought into contact with the water when the trailer is being used to launch or retrieve a boat. Maintenance of the desirable height is achieved by having the light fixture move upward or away from the water in response to a flotation device which is attached to the light fixture. The trailer light assembly may also feature a double-acting pivot point which will allow the flotation device to survive lateral forces thereon.

The tip includes a body having interconnecting channels and an integral actuator post defining an annular recess. An insert having arcuate shaped bosses defining radial feed channels and a swirl chamber on the rear face is received in the annular recess and abuts the post. The tip and insert assembly provides a substantially uniform aerosol spray pattern and droplet size for carbon dioxide, fluorocarbon, and other pressurized spray formulations over a broad range of pressures.
Abstract: An actuator assembly for a dispensing device including a cap body piece for engagement with a threaded container neck having a series of tabs therein, an operable dispensing button with a discharge orifice, the button having a series of flat sides and one rounded side for receipt within the series of tabs, a cover piece enclosing the button which exposes a portion of the button for finger engagement, and a guide slot in the cover piece to prevent relative movement between the button and the cover.
