Abstract: A pedal propulsion system for a transportation conveyance comprises a pedal drive assembly having a teethed synchronous drive belt engaged between a drive sprocket and a transfer sprocket. The rotational axes of the transfer sprocket and the drive sprocket are oriented at an angle of up to 90 degrees from one another. The rotation of the transfer sprocket is conveyed to a propeller drive assembly mounted at the rear of a water craft by an elongated rotary shaft and a flexible transmission drive cable to facilitate removable of the propulsion system from the transportation conveyance.

Abstract: The high efficiency welding device has two pairs of clamps mounted in two pairs of sliders movable in a reciprocating movement relative to one another. One pair of sliders is mounted at 0 and 180 degree positions around the circumferential surface of a support block and the other pair of sliders is mounted at 90 and 270 degree positions. Each pair of clamps is in the close condition while moving forward in the reciprocating movement to clamp onto selected air gaps of the welding electrode to advance the electrode towards the work piece as well as delivering the welding current to the welding operation, and it is in the open condition releasing the grasp of the welding electrode while moving backward.

Abstract: Oil sands ore containing bitumen is treated in a reactor chamber by ultrasonic oscillations impact such that cavitation of ore molecules occurs. The disintegration of the pulsating bubbles in the cavitation results in the separation of the oil, water, sand and air fractions of the oil sands. The oil fraction may be continuously extracted for subsequent refining processes.

Abstract: A merchandise display support stand is formed by a single configuration stamped from a single cardboard. All component parts are formed from the configuration. The stand in the erected condition is formed by folding the configuration along various horizontal and vertical fold lines and it is foldable to a collapsed folded condition. The stand is self-erectable from the folded condition to the erected condition.

Abstract: A ventilation system is provided in an automobile by forming an intake opening in the top of the seats in the automobile. A telescopic pipe is located in the cushion of the seat with its top end mounted to the intake opening and its lower end mounted to an outlet port at the underside of the seat. An ammonia sensor and a air drawing fan is mounted in the telescopic pipe. The air drawing fan is actuated by the ammonia sensor with the control of a seat fan module when the ammonia sensor detects body waste odor air expelled by a passenger sitting in the seat. Exhaust ducts are provided for conducting the odor air out of the automobile.

Abstract: A TENS currents application device has a composite laminated construction consisting of an electrical current conductive layer made of a carbon material sandwiched between a flexible outer layer and a body contact layer. The outer layer may be made of plastic or metal and has a plurality of magnet elements imbedded therein. A heating means may be additionally provided in the device. The device may be in the form of a disc or round ball which can be held in the palm of a patient or in the form of a sole insert which can be placed in the sole of a foot ware. Protruding points are additionally formed on the outer surface of the round ball and on the outer surface of the sole insert. A vibrating device is located in the handheld device for providing additional massaging function to enhance the TENS treatment.

Openings in the enclosure may be accurately formed and markings can be neatly and precisely formed by on a paper label printed by using the computer. The stand has two triangular side panel foldable inwardly along two vertical middle fold lines. A horizontal fold line formed at the middle position of the stand so that the stand may be folded into a collapsed condition. A single large rectangular merchandise display shelving or two separate merchandise display shelving may be mounted to the front panel with S-shaped hooks mounted to open mounting slots formed at the top edge and at the horizontal fold line of the front panel. A plurality of separate merchandise display trays with upper L-shaped tabs may also be mounted to the front panel with a plurality of vertical mounting slots formed along its side edges. The display stand is self-erectable with the provision of an elastic cord mounted between a brace panel and the rear panel within the stand.

A plurality of transverse grooves formed on the round surface of the drum. A top portion the round surface of the drum is exposed through a rectangular access opening of the cover. A long ear dog may drink the water by standing at the narrower front end of the device with its ears falling on the outside of two forward converging sides of the trapezoidal shape water container and licking the water carried to the exposed round surface of the drum by the transverse grooves without water splashing on its face and floor area around the device or to its ears to cause potential ear infection.

Abstract: An electrical generator is driven by gravitational force provided by a plurality of pairs of water tanks. Each pair of water tanks is suspended by an elongated chain supported by a series of pulleys. The water tanks in each pair of water tanks move between an upper position and a lower position alternately by filling selected ones of the water tanks with water and draining from the other selected ones of the water tanks. The vertical movement of the water tanks alternately filled with water is translated by ratchet wheels and bevel gear wheels to rotate the electrical generator in the same direction for generating the electrical power.

Abstract: The decorative light device has a stylized shape of a Christmas tree, or a snow flake. It comprises a transparent or translucent solid plastic member having an elongated solid plastic main body and a plurality of side branches extending outward therefrom at an angle at a plurality of junctions. A light refraction opening is formed at the main body and located adjacent to each one of those junctions. Abstract: A portable roll up window blind has an adjustable length and is removably mountable within the frame of a window. The blind has shell housing of an adjustable length and a telescopic winding core mounted between two end plates of the shell housing. One of the end plate is slidable and adjustable by a wedging means for pressing against the adjacent side wall of the window frame so that the two end plates cooperate with one another to secure the blind at a selected position in the window frame. The window blind panels are wound on the winding core in an overlapping manner. The winding core has one end engage with a round support pin located on the inner surface of the one end plate, and the other end engaged with a rotary shaft having a multi-sided cross sectional shape. The rotary shaft is rotatable by a pull chain for raising or lowering the window blind panels.

Abstract: An odor air cleaning seat is provided with an opening for receiving body waste odor air expelled by a person sitting thereon. A odor air sensor is mounted in the opening for detecting the presence of odor air expelled by the person. An odor filter is mounted in a conducting compartment located below the seat. At least one air blower is provided in the conducting compartment for drawing the odor air to flow through the conducting compartment for cleaning and removing the offensive odor of the odor air.

Abstract: The RFID system is for automatic recognition of one or all of a plurality of objects or articles located in an interrogation zone and having RFID tags mounted thereon. The tags have transponders carrying RFID information codes are sequentially and individually scanned with interrogation signals and activated to emit the information codes signals readable with a reader. The interrogation signals are based on the reader antennas and the configurations and locations of the tags. Signals returned from the transponders of the tags are processed to determine their electronic product code and location. The operation is repeated until the recognition and location of all tags in the entire interrogation zone are completed.

Abstract: A unique window blind system has two triangular panels. Each panel has a plurality of foldable sections bundled together at one fixed end and the remainder portion are unfoldable to cover a diagonally opposite triangular half portion of the window opening. The panels are mounted in the window frame in an inverted manner relative to one another with the fixed end adjacent to diagonally opposite corners of the window frame. Pull cords are provided for folding the sections in a fanfold manner to obtain selectively an opening covering partially or completely the window opening. Additional pull cords are provided for unfolding the sections of the two panels to cover selectively the window opening partially or completely from the opened state.

Abstract: A universal window blind trimmer is provided with an interchangeable die assembly. Each die assembly has a window blind head rail receiving opening and window blind bottom rail receiving opening of a different size and shape such that it may be used for trimming a wide variety of window blinds. A double action cam pivotable by a handle is operative for trimming the head rail and bottom rail when the handle is pivoted in one direction and cutting a bundled of window blind slats when the handle is pivoted in another direction.

Abstract: A composite support for fabricating a prototype electrical circuit has a rectangular planar board with a plurality of rows and columns of double sided annular toroidal connection eyelets. The planar board is mounted on a rectangular support tray having a well. The connection eyelets of the planar board have a diameter of from 1.30 mm to 1.80 mm. A high temperature sheet material adhered to the entire undersurface of the planar board, which is pierced by leads of electrical components inserted into the connection eyelets. A spongy retainer block or a breadboard may also be located in the support tray well.

Abstract: A foldable and self-erecting display stand has an easel mounted at the rear surface of a large planar board. The planar board and the easel are together foldable along a plurality of horizontal fold lines to a compact collapsed state. The easel has a U-shaped horizontal cross section and two mutually parallel triangular side walls. A plurality of pivotable cross braces extend in a canti-lever manner from a body board of the easel. A plurality of elastic cords are mounted between the cross braces and the side walls of the easel. The side walls of the easel are foldable to a collapsed position juxtaposed to the planar board against the elastic force of the elastic cords for folding the display stand to the collapsed state. The elastic cords are in a stretched condition when the display stand in the collapsed state, and the cross braces cooperate with the stretched elastic cords to self-erecting the display stand from the collapsed state to the erected state.

Abstract: The apparatus is for securely fetching and positioning an SMD chip on a printed circuit board and soldering the same to the board. Two spring plates form the clasping fingers which are wedged apart to a width larger than the width of the SMD chip by an expander formed on an elongated rod slidably mounted within a vertical tubular housing. An SMD chip may be safely fetched by pressing the rod on the top of the SMD with a continuous depressing motion until the fingers clasp the SMD chip safely therebetween. A soldering unit with a bifurcate soldering head located juxtaposed to the fingers is operative to solder the SMD chip to the printed circuit board while the SMD chip is safely held in place.
