  • Patent number: 7409921
Abstract: A sea perch apparatus includes a platform configured to be located between a pair of spaced-apart sea perch support members located along a side or end of a boat. The platform is designed to be elevated so as to be in an upright position between the sea perch support members and lowered so as to be in a horizontal lower position near a waterline in which the boat is flowing when in the water. The platform serves as a guardrail between the sea perch support members, and when the platform is in the lower position, it serves as a swimming dock, tanning deck and further serves to facilitate easier embarking and disembarking to and from another boat. The platform is transformable into a seat when upright with arm rest. When upright, it is locked in place on either side of the upper side of the platform.

  • Patent number: 7398805
Abstract: A self-propelled stump cutting apparatus which also functions as a tow-behind type, resultant of a telescoping tongue hitch. The apparatus is narrowed in width, while in work mode with tow wheels suspended above ground by removing the detachable tow wheel assemblies. Self-propulsion is accomplished by the employment of a unique, retractable, hydraulically motivated tractor axle assembly. This assembly is located on a hinged sub-frame attached to the apparatus main frame. The tractor axle assembly is forcibly positioned and locked by way of a mechanical assembly which is motivated by the vertical movement of the hydraulically maneuvered cutting wheel boom. A major additional feature is the novel direct coupling of the cutting wheel driving hydraulic motor to the cutting wheel axle shaft. This is accomplished by the employment of a compact, self-aligning internal shaft coupling which eliminates commonly used costly and inefficient belt drive systems.

  • Patent number: 7396474
Abstract: A process to improve the polymeric filtration aid performance used in removal of gypsum from phosphoric acid/gypsum slurry. A synergistic effect has been observed by using a Dual Injection method. This method more specifically involves using two polymers (A & B) of different chemistry and injecting into slurry at a different time. The polymer chemistry of filtration aid A is selected from the group consisting of non-ionic, anionic, and cationic polymers and the polymer chemistry of filtration aid B is selected from the group consisting of sulfonated polymers. The polymer (A & B) usage is reduced by around 50% and performance improved.

  • Patent number: 7361375
Abstract: A blended fish chum system using dry fish food modified for buoyancy to either provide for a desired floating characteristic or a desired sinking characteristic. Fish oil is added to the fish food used for floating characteristics and fish oil is added to the fish food used for sinking characteristics. A starter fish chum comprising sinking fish food to which crustacean oil is added, is mixed with the combination of sinking fish food and fish oil. The floating fish food mixture, which has been dried, is blended with the sinking fish food mixture, which has also been dried, to form the blended fish chum. The mixture ratio is varied to achieve desired floating or sinking characteristics of the resultant blend. The resultant blended fish chum is added to a self regulating mesh bag with its clip/draw string, which is vacuum sealed to ensure freshness and long term dry, non-refrigerated storage.

  • Patent number: 7360226
Abstract: A drive gear (30) is rotated by a motor (28). Drive force from a loading transmission gear (36), which constantly engages the drive gear (30), is constantly transmitted to a loading mechanism (20). In a pick-up moving mechanism (24), an idler gear (33), which constantly engages the drive gear (30), engages a pick-up transmission gear (82) to transmit drive force. The movement of a first slider (101) engages and disengages the idler gear (33) and the pick-up transmission gear (82). The first slider (101) is located at a first position when a disc (D) is not loaded, and is located at a second position when the disc (D) is loaded. A loading mechanism (20) ends a loading operation by moving the first slider (101) to a second position. The transmission and switching of drive force from a single motor to the loading mechanism (20) and the pick-up moving mechanism (24) is ensured.

  • Patent number: 7216483
Abstract: A generating set formed so that a generator 70 connected to a rotary shaft 32 turning and supporting a conveyor 30 by utilizing the power by which a gas supplied by a supply means 60 into a bucket 50 positioned on a lower portion of the side of the conveyor 30 which is turned upward in the interior of a tower 10 is moved up with the bucket 50 in a liquid 20 stored in the interior of the tower 10 as the gas receives the buoyancy of the liquid. In this generating set, the supply means 60 is formed so as to turn compressed air into a plurality of bubbles of a very small diameter, send out these bubbles into the liquid 20 in the interior of the tower, and hold down to a low level the resistance occurring when the compressed air is sent out into the liquid 20 in the interior of the tower. An electric power energy value obtained from the generator 70 is increased with respect to a value of the energy consumed by the supply means 60.
