Abstract: A seating device including a seating unit movably suspended relative to a primary frame so that an individual can grasp at least one handle connected to the primary frame to create desired motion between the seating unit and the primary frame. A lock bar controlled by the individual is selectively operable to engage an element of the seating unit to prevent motion between the seating unit and the primary frame. The primary frame may be supported on wheels to form an exercise wheelchair.
Abstract: A method of forming a tubular workpiece which consists in pre-bending a metal plate along at least two longitudinal lines of bend (12–13) then in bending the plate along at least one of the lines of bend (12–13) using a bending member (103–104) that exerts an external clamping force (F7, F8) along a part (23, 24) of the plate towards the at least one of the lines of bend (12, 13). Thereby preventing any sliding of part (23, 24) of the plate along the bending member (103–104) as the bending member bends the part. The bending member is articulated about a virtual geometrical axis (a, c) located inside a tubular section of the workpiece.
Abstract: A reference device for setting color biasing mechanisms on a camera and achieving a consistent color biasing in different environmental situations, and a method of making the same. The reference device comprises a reflective media having a surface that has had its spectral characteristics analyzed and its surface treated with colored droplets, wherein each of the droplets is less than 5 picoliters in volume, to achieve a degree of desired white neutrality or color bias of different spectral quality than that which was analyzed as aforesaid.
Abstract: A circuit breaker including a control assembly having a driving and a driven splined shafts and a pair of arcing contacts movable by the control assembly. A synchronization assembly is provided for synchronizing the two splined shafts and includes two levers each of which is provided with a splined ring that co-operates with one of the splined shafts. One of the splined rings has a number of meshing elements which is different than a number of meshing elements on the splined shaft with which it co-operates and an adapter is seated between the one of the splined rings and the splined shaft with which it co-operates.
Abstract: The heddle according to the invention is provided at the level of each of its ends with at least two sections for simultaneous bearing on corresponding surfaces formed on a traction bar fast with a crossbeam of a heddle frame. These sections and surfaces allow the transmission of an effort of traction exerted by one of the crossbeams on the heddle. They are offset in a direction substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the heddle and to an axis of the uprights of the frame.
Abstract: A prosthetic element comprising two principal components which are assembled together and immobilized with respect to each other by a screw which may be selectively threaded into at least one tapping in at least one of the principal components. The screw comprises at least one radial element adapted to abut against a stop surface within the first component, and a non-threaded end forming a guide which is adapted to slide in a bore in the second component.
Abstract: A control assembly for controlling reciprocal motion of a stopper used with a tundish dish including a shaft movably guided within a guiding assembly and connected to the stopper and wherein a motor is movable between a first postion wherein output from the motor is disengaged from a motion converting device connected to the shaft and a second position wherein the motor is drivingly engaged with the motion converting device. A linking device is also provided to secure the motor relative to the motion converting device in the second position thereof.

Abstract: An adjustable and collapsible stand for archery bows which includes a pair of vertically adjustable legs carried by a bracket which is mounted to a bow and wherein vibration damping elements are mounted to each leg to thereby reduce vibrational energy created during use of the bow.
Abstract: A drawing mechanism for a weaving loom including a tubular connecting rod with flattened cross-section which is coupled to at least one oscillating connecting lever by at least one connector including two plates disposed on either side of the lever and being articulated thereon and at least one insert part adapted to fit within and be secured to an open end of the connecting rod. The connecting rod end is provided, on its inner surface, with elements in relief adapted to cooperate with bearing surfaces provided on the insert part for securing the insert part in the open end of the connecting rod.
Abstract: A certificate validity verification engine is integrated into the logic of a secure token, in turn, making the use of a private key conditional upon the determination that the certificate for the corresponding public key is valid at that particular instant in time. In this manner, the existence of a digital signature that is verified with a certificate implies that the certificate was valid at the time the signature was created. The verification of the certificate's validity by the relying party is unnecessary, as the signature could not have been created had the certificate been invalid. The validity of a certificate is communicated at the time the signature was created, rather than at the time the signature was verified.
Abstract: An apparatus for pressure tight discharge of refiner material, such as cellulosic material by using a screw which feeds the material between a screw shaft and screw housing whereby a pressure tight material plug is formed at an outlet of the screw housing. The screw is, at the out end, provided with a flange which together with a throttle journalled around the flange forms an adjustable outlet opening through which material is fed out by the screw while the material forms a pressure tight material plug.
Abstract: The dobby according to the invention comprises, at the level of each of its blades, an oscillating piece associated with an actuation element, at least one mobile coupling member borne by the actuation element and two pivoting levers subjected, on the one hand, to the action of a reading device and, on the other hand, to that of elastic means which tend to engage catches of the pivoting levers either with a jamming surface provided on the actuation element, or with the coupling member, while the lever in engagement with the jamming surface is out of range of a selector of the reading device. In addition, mechanical members independent of the reading device are adapted to displace, against the action of the elastic means, a lever whose catch is not in engagement with the jamming surface, with the result that it does not interfere with the angular displacement of the selector.
