Abstract: A method of forming a backpack with an integral gun scabbard has been devised whereby the user has a convenient place for the storage and carriage of a rifle, shotgun, or other long gun type of firearm, and simultaneously can store and carry a variety of other sundry cargo while moving about. The backpack is devised in such a way as to permit easy and rapid access to and retrieval of said firearm from the storage. It is equipped with dual padded shoulder straps. In an ideal embodiment, a waist belt is included to facilitate the stabilization of the scabbard when the firearm is being withdrawn, as well as to contribute to the load bearing functions of the backpack.

Abstract: An innovative one-piece videolaryngostroboscope that provides slow motion visualization and detailed analysis of the vocal cords movements, which are imperceptible to the naked eye due, by means of a video camera with stroboscopic; said apparatus is used to perform examinations in patients, aiming to assess the incidence of larynx cancer. The invention including a processor base; an optics tube with a built-in light sources, a built-in video camera; a microphone, an auxiliary pedal and software.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a water proof case for a digital camera. The water proof case for a digital camera according to the present invention comprises a housing having an inner space to accommodate the digital camera, an upper and a lower transparent films formed, respectively, on an upper and a lower sides of the housing, a first attaching member formed on an upper surface of the housing at a side of the upper transparent film, a corrugated header extended from the housing at a side of the first attaching member, a cover connected to the housing at the side of the first attaching member and positioned at a back of the corrugated header, a second attaching member formed on an upper surface of the cover, and a light tube unit heat-fused to the upper transparent film.

Abstract: A cleaning brush with a dispenser for cleaning product. The cleaning product is stored in a cavity, and is dispensed by pressing on a flexible membrane on one side of the cavity. When thus depressed, the cleaning product is extruded through holes in the head into the region of the bases of bristles on the front side of the brush. The toothbrush is ergonomically shaped in a concave spoon like shape to fit a user's hand more comfortably. The brush may include a cover which has a general appearance of a fountain pen to facilitate an in obtrusive carrying of the brush.

Abstract: A device for marking a location. The device coming in two separate pieces, namely a ground stake and a marking post. The ground stake configured for insertion into a ground surface. The marking post configured for attachment to the ground stake. The post is preferably removable from the stake so that when livestock are present, if they uproot or displace the marking post portion of the device, the ground stake remains in the ground still marking the location. If a survey crew or other individual is at the marking location after the post has been removed, they can replace the post (or insert a replacement post) to return the device to its full functionality.

Abstract: A bandage incorporates sensor arrays. The sensor arrays may measure temperature and are fixed to a person's temple in use, or other suitable body part. An estimate of core body temperature may be made using the arrays. The bandage may carry processing electronics and a transmitter. Processing may be done on the bandage or remotely from the bandage. Other physiological parameters may be measured depending on the type of sensor used.

Abstract: A mono-crutch for assisting the ambulation of individuals having injured or otherwise debilitated lower extremities. The mono-crutch having upper leg support with inner and outer support pads, a lower leg support for cradling a wearer's lower leg, and a ground contact member. The inner and outer support pads are configured so as to be able to be swapped or raised/lowered relative to one another, thereby allowing both right legged and left legged configurations to be created using the same mono-crutch.

Abstract: A self-contained lift truck capable of loading a cargo container by engaging an end of the container, lifting the end of the container, moving the truck toward the container until it contacts the container, pulling the container forward until it is level on the truck, and then locking the container on the truck. During loading, the container never slides along the ground, avoiding damage to the ground.

Abstract: A self propelled trailer for boats or other loads in which the trailer includes two tracked propulsion units. The propulsion units raise to a position adjacent the frame to allow the trailer to be towed by a towing vehicle, and lower to a position in contact with a road surface to allow the operator to move the trailer and its load without being attached to the towing vehicle. In the case of a load that is a boat, the self propelled trailer and the boat could be driven without an attached vehicle, down a boat loading ramp to launch the boat, and be driven with the boat up the boat loading ramp to rendezvous with a towing vehicle in a parking lot. The propulsion units would then be raised into a position adjacent to the trailer frame and the trailer would be towed on the highway.

Abstract: A security holster for handguns which utilizes a U-shaped rod as part of the locking and releasing mechanism. The user presses a handgun against a portion of the U-shaped rod, which pushed the U-shaped rod forward, and causes the locking tab to seat against the ejection port or another feature of the handgun.

Abstract: A sorter for sorting pieces of various diameters and lengths made up of a pair of shafts spatially disposed in parallel within a horizontal plane, each of these shafts having a tapered core to which is connected to a pair of flights. When the shafts are rotated, items placed upon the flights of the shafts are aligned and moved toward the second end of the shaft. When a piece reaches a location where it can tip upon one of the flights and the end of the piece no longer contacts a part of the adjoining flight, the piece will tip. When this piece now traveling between the flights reaches a location where the space between the tapered portions of the cones is sufficiently large so as to allow the potato to fall between the cones, the piece will fall and has thus been sorted for diameter. Larger items thus are sorted to a location further from the first end of the device and smaller items are sorted to a position closer to the first end of the device.

Abstract: A system and device for storing, transporting and cooking meals in circumstances where open flame is restricted. The system and device provides a container with a removable lid that allows for the storage and use of cooking vessels and heating elements in a closed environment. This situation allows heat to be created and transferred to a cooking vessel while containing the heat and related items in a closed container. Preferably the system and device is utilized with Dutch ovens and charcoal briquettes.
