Abstract: An adhesive cord cover for enveloping a cord, such as an electrical cord or chandelier chain. The adhesive cord cover is formed from a lengthwise strip of fabric. A pressure sensitive adhesive is attached to the fabric strip, preferably along a first lengthwise edge. The pressure sensitive adhesive is positioned and configured to allow a fastening side of the pressure sensitive adhesive to be selectively adhered to the lengthwise strip of fabric to thereby form a tubular configuration for enveloping a cord. The pressure sensitive adhesive is preferably an adhesive transfer tape. The transfer tape preferably has a removable liner on the fastening side. The removable liner assists in preserving the adhesive properties of the pressure sensitive adhesive prior to use. The pressure sensitive adhesive transfer tape is preferably a continuous strip that extends substantially along the entire length of the piece of fabric.
Abstract: A system for dispensing, reading and verifying RFID tags. The system includes a label dispenser that dispenses labels that contain RFID tags from a bulk label storage device, an RFID Reader/Writer device that is operatively connected to the label dispenser. The RFID Reader/Writer device reads and codes tags which are embedded within these labels. The RFID Reader/Writer is configured to function in close range and thus provide adequate fidelity of coding and transfer of individual program tags. The invention also includes an RFID reader/writer that is powered by its communications means.
Abstract: A downhole tool for generating a fluid pressure pulse, and to a method of generating a fluid pressure pulse downhole. One example being, an improved downhole tool and method for transmitting data signals from a downhole environment to surface, the downhole tool comprising a fluid actuated flow restrictor; a first fluid flow path for flow of actuating fluid to actuate the flow restrictor; a second fluid flow path for flow of actuating fluid to actuate the flow restrictor; and a control member movable between a first closed position where the first fluid flow path is closed and the second fluid flow path is open, and a discrete second closed position where the first fluid flow path is open and the second fluid flow path is closed, for controlling actuation of the flow restrictor to generate a fluid pressure pulse.

Abstract: A patient gown such as the type utilized in a hospital setting made up of a single one piece front panel section and a single one piece back panel section releaseably connected along a shoulder seam by a plurality of releasable fasteners. The front and back panel sections defining a generally V-shaped neck portion configured to allow passage of a person's head therethrough, and further containing a closure device configured to connect the patient gown around in front of a wearer. These sections connected along a shoulder seam formed by the uniting of the top portions of the front panel section and the back panel section by at least one selectively releasable fastener. The gown has a connection device that is configured to allow opposing portions of the back panel to be connected together in a location in front of the person wearing the device.
Abstract: A protective screen for use with a pitching machine. The pitching machine for pitching balls. The protective screen having a passageway defined there-through for permitting a ball to be pitched by the pitching machine there-through. The protective screen having a door configured for opening and closing in concert with the pitching of balls so as to open to permit a ball to be pitched there-through but automatically closed right there-behind to protect the operator of the pitching machine from injury due to a batted ball.
Abstract: A disposable child safety seat pad is formed of a liquid permeable outer layer, an absorbent core and a liquid impervious base layer. The pad is configured to cover the exposed child contact areas of a safety seat and is releasably secured to the seat by adhesive strips positioned on the base layer. Perforation lines are provided on a seat back portion of the pad and on a seat bottom portion of the pad. The perforations are opened to provide apertures for connecting safety harness webbing to safety seat anchor points.
Abstract: A device for selectively inserting or removing cup liners having a generally elongated cylindrical body, a front cup and a rear lip from a milking cup apparatus. The device having a frame, a force-applying device pivotally connected to the frame and a liner holding device, connected in sliding engagement to the frame. The liner holding device is configured to connect with the liner and to pull the liner through the hard milk shell cup when activated by a user.
Abstract: A method and device for applying germicide solutions to a cattle teat or other item in a way that reduces the amount of waste that typically accompanies this process. The present invention provides a method for cleaning a teat which comprises the steps of dipping a teat into a quantity of a preselected germicidal solution so as to coat that teat, wiping excess material from that teat and collecting the removed excess material from the teat. The present invention also provides an improved germicide applicator for use in the invented method.
Abstract: There is disclosed an electrically insulating device in the form of a sleeve (12) for a downhole tool, for electrically insulating a first threaded electrically conductive member in the form of an anchor sub (16) from a second threaded electrically conductive member in the form of an insulated sub (18). An assembly (10) including the sleeve (12) has particular use in measurement while drilling (MWD)/logging while drilling (LWD) procedures. In one embodiment, a third member in the form of a threaded electrically conductive sleeve sub (20) is coupled to the insulated sub by a second sleeve (14), to create an insulated gap between the anchor and sleeve subs (16, 20).

Abstract: The device is a tube for placement around a living, human nerve fiber to protect the nerve from external damage. The device includes two concentric tubes, each of which are semi-circular in cross section. The lining tube rotates within the outer tube. Each of the lining tubes has a channel that extends the length of the tube. When the channels of the two tubes are aligned, the spine-protecting device can be slipped over a nerve without injuring the nerve. Once the nerve is safely inside the lining tube, the two tubes can be rotated relative to each other and locked into place, thus forming a protective tube that extends 360 degrees around a section of nerve. This device can be inserted into the opening between the vertebrae through which the nerve extends. Other runs of nerve in the human body can also be protected.
Abstract: A combination birdhouse and bird feeder configured for rotation from a bird feeding mode to a bird housing/nesting mode. The device having the ability to be locked in the bird feeding position as well as being locked in the bird housing position.
Abstract: An easily operated castrating tool that allows placement of an improved continuous elastic band for ligation and removal of an appendage. The present invention includes a tool that allows such bands to be placed in a manner that is significantly more easy to use, and less fatiguing to the parties that utilize the device. The instant invention is also an improved elastic band which allows for better compressive ligation about a body part as well as a simple, but effective, spreading tool that allows for quicker and easier placement of the improved elastic band about a body part to be ligated.
Abstract: The present invention is an improved construction toy set having a number of different structural elements which are configured for snapping together. These elements having key connectors configured for mating together, where integral locking indentations in the key connectors are configured for locking onto locking ridges provided on the adjacent structural element.
