Abstract: The invention is a security holster configured for use by left-handed users, with a release tab on the left side of the holster, a locking tab on the right side of the holster, which generally engages the ejection port of a gun, and a linkage between the release tab and the locking tab.
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for heating a viscuous liquid slurry by direct steam injection in small scale installations. A process tube, through which the slurry flows, is surrounded by a pressure vessel. The pressure vessel acts as a high pressure steam boiler tank, heating the process tube. The process tube, having a length to accommodate mixing of the slurry within, act as a reaction chamber, into which steam is injected via a direct steam injection assembly. The integration of the injector, reactor, and boiler avoids the need for an external boiler and associated plumbing.
Abstract: A variety of N-substituted derivatives are based upon the base chemicals of that provide for the induction of cavernosal relaxation in animals. R2 is a derivative based on a hetroaromatic group, an aromatic group or a cyclohexane.
Abstract: An automated fruit harvester which includes sensors and robotic arms which position themselves adjacent to a fruit to be harvested. A fruit transport head secures the fruit, cuts the stem, and transports the fruit within the hollow arm, to deposit the fruit in a collection bin.
Abstract: An energy transfer machine, for example, a positive displacement internal combustion device, has a fixed or rotating outer housing, an internal rotating carrier and one or more inner rotors with rotational axes which are offset from the inner rotor carrier rotational axis. Circumferentially expandable projections from the outer housing and rotor mesh with each other to define variable volume chambers.
Abstract: A pavement cutting tool wherein the pitch of the handles relative to the ground surface is relative to, and interlinked, to the pitch of the connected saw blade, so that as the saw blade is raised and/or lowered into the surface to be cut, the handles remain at a predetermined angle of attack (preferably generally horizontal). The pavement-cutting tool further using a limit switch to limit the depth of the cut.

Abstract: A balance board-training device made up of a training board, a pivoting device permanently connected to the underside of the training board and a rolling device that is configured and positioned so as to be able to roll across the underside of said training board. In use a rider stands on the upper side of the board or deck. As the rider moves, the one portion of the device pivots upon the dome shaped pivoting mechanism and the other end of the device moves and is able to move both side to side, as well as in a rising and falling motion as the rolling device of the present invention moves beneath the board.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for encasing a carrier pipe using PVC sections. Top and bottom carrier pipe encasement shells are provided, with connectors utilized to connect the two shells together thereby encasing the carrier pipe. The connectors generally “number four-shaped” in cross section, having downward flanges for attaching to the bottom shells and a pair of pairs of upward flanges defining a pair of channels there-between for receiving the rims of the top shell there-between.
Abstract: An energy transfer machine, for example, a positive displacement internal combustion device, has a fixed outer housing, an internal rotating carrier and one or more inner rotors with rotational axes which are offset from the inner rotor carrier rotational axis. Projections from the fixed outer housing and rotor mesh with each other to define variable volume chambers. In another energy transfer machine, in which the outer housing may be fixed or rotating, projections of the rotor are expandable within cylinders defined by projections of the outer housing.
Abstract: A charger for ultracapacitors that allows many ultracapacitors, that may be connected in several different configurations, to be charged from a very low voltage to their rated voltage very rapidly without cell damage. The charger also allows for the detection of failed cells.
Abstract: A liquid oral medication dispensing system made up of an ampule configured to hold a pre-measured quantity of the selected medication and to dispense that quantity of oral medication through an opening in the ampule formed by a puncturing device. This dispensing system provides a system for storing and delivering oral medications that can be utilized in a broad variety of circumstances by individuals with little or no medical training and provides safe, effective use of the medication.
Abstract: A system and device for installing and mounting conduit upon a surface such as a roof. The system made up of at least one support block having a base and an upper portion, a support rail and a variety of attachments for holding conduit to the rail. Each of the various blocks in the system configured to nest when oriented in a first direction to stack in an elevated position having a greater height when oriented in a second direction. These pieces are configured to work together to provide a mounting system with significant advantages over other devices that exist in the prior art.
Abstract: A ballast circuit for a gas discharge lamp, having the capability to shift frequency after starting to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI). Embodiments of the circuit contain an oscillator circuit that generates and supplies an oscillating signal and a time delay circuit, which generates a time delay to signal the oscillator to shift frequency. In embodiments of the circuit, the frequency shift is achieved by selecting different passive components used to generate the oscillator frequency.
Abstract: The invention is a precordial pad for positioning EKG electrodes on a patient for anatomically correct and repeatable placement. Data can be transmitted from the EKG pad of the invention by wire or wireless means. The pad includes a sizing aid, and a positioning device. The invention is also a system for obtaining and sending EKG data.
