    Abstract: The invention is directed to a piston pump for a hydraulic vehicle brake system. For simple and inexpensive manufacturability, the piston pump embodies an outlet conduit as a groove in a sleeve bottom and a sealing part. As a result, the sleeve and the sealing part can be manufactured in a non-cutting manner by means of forming. Another advantage of letting the outflow conduit into the sleeve bottom is that the outlet conduit is disposed a small distance in the axial direction from a valve seat of an outlet valve, which counteracts noise production.

    Abstract: An apparatus for sterilizing, filling and sealing containers has a sterilization chamber, a cooling chamber, and a filling and sealing chamber, through which the containers are conveyed by means of an endless conveyor device. For presterilizing the chambers before the apparatus is put into operation, these chambers are acted upon by a gaseous sterilizing agent flowing through them, which is fed through an inlet or an outlet for the containers. In order that regions less affected by the flowing sterilizing agent as it flows, because they are in the lee, will also be disinfected well, the flow direction of the sterilizing agent is changed multiple times. A blower with a reversible flow direction is used for this purpose.

    Abstract: The invention provides a refuse and recyclable materials collection system which includes a self-dumping bin, a hauling unit with a tailgate and an opening top, side or both, a compacting ram that empties the hopper into the body, compacts and ejects the collected materials. The collection vehicle is placed into a loading position, which can be on either side of the vehicle. For collection of two different types of recyclable materials the collection vehicle can be equipped with two receiving doors, hoppers, rams, compacting chambers and tailgates. The self-dumping bin receives power by connecting hydraulic lines from the collection vehicle. The self-dumping bin is then raised to the dumping position by a lifting mechanism. The receiving door opens to form a chute for receiving the materials from the self-dumping bin. A baffle on each of the receiving doors forms a trap to prevent spillage. The bin has a tapered “lip” that funnels the material into the hopper of the hauling unit.

    Abstract: When a commutator is slipped onto a rotor shaft that is provided with viscous epoxy, a bead of epoxy forms on the connecting end face of the commutator core and can hinder the process of winding the rotor. The novel commutator therefore has a receiving bore (25), which begins at the connecting end face (23) of the commutator and extends coaxially to the longitudinal axis (1) as far as a shoulder (26) and is adjoined by a conical bore (29) tapering toward a through bore (24). The bead (22) of epoxy that forms when the commutator is slipped onto the rotor shaft is completely covered by the receiving bore (25). The commutator is especially suitable for rotors of electrical machines.

    Abstract: A common rail system having a regulated prefeed pump, which pumps a fuel flow from a fuel tank to a high-pressure pump. The fuel flow is split with the aid of a valve assembly into a lubricant flow and a high-pressure feed flow that is pumped into a high-pressure reservoir, and acted upon by high pressure. The prefeed pump has a substantially linear characteristic feed curve with a certain slope. To improve the regulating performance, the valve assembly for the lubricant flow includes a valve whose characteristic feed curve initially rises in a first portion (I) with the rpm of the prefeed pump with the same slope as the characteristic feed curve of the prefeed pump. Then in a second portion (II) rises substantially linearly, with a lesser slope than the characteristic feed curve of the prefeed pump, and in a third portion (III) finally drops again.

    Abstract: A fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines is supplied from a high-pressure fuel reservoir with high-pressure fuel that at the same time also serves to actuate the injection valve needle of the fuel injection valve. The injection valve needle is actuated via a tappet, which defines a control pressure chamber that is supplied with high-pressure fuel via a Z-throttle and can be relieved via an outlet throttle which is controlled by a magnet valve. The control pressure chamber is enclosed in an insert by the tappet guided in a cylindrical bore, and this insert receives not only the cylindrical bore but also a flat armature, a tappet of the flat armature, and a valve member of the magnet valve. The insert is braced on the housing on the injection valve by the magnet valve housing.

The bead is produced by axially compressing the piston. The bead constitutes an axial support for a guide ring and sealing ring placed onto the piston. A disk-shaped, abrasion resistant striking piece is press-fitted into an open end of the tubular piston, and is used by the piston for resting against a circumference of a cam element used for the stroke drive.

In order to facilitate mounting, the upper partial bearing or securing shells are designed so that they can be mounted from above, and thereby essentially radially with respect to the rubber elastic elements.

A spring/stop system with a first compression spring for a control valve for a control chamber, whose pressure determined the position of the valve shaft of an injection valve member. When a valve opens, the spring/stop system allows its valve tappet a first axial stroke, which is limited by a primary stop on an axially movable adapter. The axial mobility of the adapter allows the valve tappet, counter to the compressive force of a first compression spring, an additional, second axial stroke, which is limited by an end stop structurally connected to the housing. The valve tappet is urged in the closing direction of the control valve by a second compression spring braced against the housing of the injection valve, and in the closed state of the control valve the spring force of the second compression spring is less than that of the first compression spring.
