Abstract: An LED waterproof diffuser has an LED substrate housing, a diffusing portion and an embedded locating portion. The housing is of a 3D holding space formed by an end wall and a periphery. An LED inlet is formed at the other end of the periphery. The hollow diffusing portion is protruded from the center of the end wall of the LED substrate housing in a reducing pattern. The embedded locating portion is formed externally onto the diffusing portion, and can also be embedded securely into the hole of an existing shell plate. The diffuser allows one to assemble a single or several LED units, thus reducing the manufacturing cost and realizing excellent waterproofing effects, while enabling partial replacement or maintenance of LED elements. Moreover, since the outer diameter of the diffusing portion is smaller than that of the LED substrate housing, a smaller hole area for assembly can be obtained.
Abstract: The present invention is a shackle apparatus used for the lifting of subsea objects. The shackle apparatus includes a shackle body having a first leg and a second leg in which each of the legs has an eyelet formed therein. A pin is mounted through the eyelets of the legs of the shackle body. At least one latch extends radially outwardly of the pin and resides adjacent the first leg of the shackle body. A stop surface extends from the pin and is positioned adjacent the second leg of the shackle body. The pin has a generally pointed end so that a remotely operated vehicle can suitably guide the pin through the eyelets of the shackle body. A gripping member extends outwardly from an end of the pin so as to provide a surface whereby an ROV can grip the pin for installation into the shackle body.
Abstract: An apparatus for automatically bypassing tying posts in fruit-bearing hedges has a working head with a pair of vertical drive shafts, each having stacks of toothed cutting disks mounted thereon. Each of the vertical drive shafts having a an opening wheel thereof. The stacks are movable between a position in which the cutting disks mesh with each other and a position in which the stacks of the cutting disks are spaced away from each other. The opening wheels are connected by speed reducers to the shaft such that the open wheels rotate at a speed less than the cutting disks.

Abstract: The present invention is an apparatus and method of orthopedic footwear for post-surgical or diabetic patients or for sanitary use. The footwear has an ambidextrous bottom sole. In a higher part thereof, there is a groove of at least 10 mm, in which an off-loading plantar insoles or medicine or bandages can be inserted. These have been built-in the bottom sole using an ortho-dynamic concept which allows the patient a controlled deambulation. To that end, the present invention prevents sheer force on the plantar part of the bottom sole and the foot and in particular on the metatarsal and/or tarsal part of the foot.
Abstract: An efficient and passive micro fuel cell includes an anode plate, a reaction plate, a cathode plate and a condensation plate. The anode plate draws a dilute solution of methanol from a fuel tank to delivery to a series of upper oxidation reaction room through micro-channels by thermal capillarity. The condensation plate separates carbon dioxide and vapor from each other. Meanwhile, the methanol solution is delivered to a plurality of lower oxidation reaction rooms. Protons pass through the inner walls of the reaction holes and a porous membrane layer and arrive in the lower reduction reaction rooms. The lower reduction reaction rooms and the lower oxidation reaction rooms have reaction holes whose inner walls have carbon nanotubes and catalysts. A plurality of upper reduction reaction rooms delivers oxygen for the reduction reaction and drains the reduced water at the same time.
Abstract: A bump structure includes a first substrate, a plurality of first bond pads, a plurality of dielectric bumps, a plurality of under bump metal layers, and a plurality of metal layers. The plurality of first bond pads are spaced apart on the first substrate. The plurality of dielectric bumps disposed corresponding to the first bond pads electrically isolate the first bond pads from each other. Each under bump metal layer is formed between the respective first bond pad and the dielectric bump, extending through a side surface of the respective dielectric bump, and correspondingly forming an extension portion between two adjacent dielectric bumps, wherein each extension portion has a length along the extending direction thereof shorter than the pitch between two adjacent dielectric bumps. Each metal layer is formed on the side surface of the respective dielectric bump and the respective extension portion.

Abstract: Disclosed is an air intake for a turbocharger for an internal combustion engine, said air intake including a series of variable position guide vanes for directing the air such that it is swirling in a rotational sense on reaching the impeller of the compressor of the turbocharger. The variable position guide vanes are made comprised of sound absorbent material such as to achieve a substantial reduction in turbocharger noise at the air intake.
Abstract: An apparatus for facilitating the removal of moisture from a compressed air tank has a tank with an interior volume, a tubular member positioned in communication with the tank and having an end adjacent the bottom of the tank, an air compressor interconnected to the tubular member for passing compressed air into the interior volume of the tank, a check valve positioned at an opposite end of the tubular member, a head pressure relief valve in communication with the tubular member, and a pressure switch cooperatively connected to the air compressor. The pressure switch opens the head pressure relief valve when an air pressure in the tank reaches a desired level so as to cause air and water in the tank to pass through the tubular member. The check valve serves to stop the passing of air and water after a period of time.

Abstract: Friction device includes at least two members, one of which is mobile, or potentially mobile, in terms of relative displacement with respect to the other under the action of an external stimulus. The relative displacement is liable to cause the relative displacement of two friction surfaces subjected to pressing forces, so as to convert the external stimulus into a friction force and to thus control the displacement of the mobile or potentially mobile member. The pressing forces are produced by pre-stressing mechanisms and the members are able to act on the effects of the pre-stressing mechanisms so as to use the resultant effect of the relative displacement of the mobile or potentially mobile member to reduce the pressing forces.

The invention includes a bending form provided with a clamping system, a device for orienting the tube, and a bending jaw (8). The bending jaw is prismatic and machined to the tube radius on at least one of its surfaces. The kinematics of the displacement of the bending jaw in a peripheral area at the bending form is provided by any combination of at least two, rectilinear or rotating, movements. The bending jaw is steerable in rotation about a median axis perpendicular to the bending plane. The bending jaw is mobile in the vertical direction to provide multiple bending operations.

Abstract: An embedded sliding assembly and positioning structure of a lamp reflector which allows a reflector to be assembled fixedly onto a lamp. The embedded sliding assembly and positioning structure have a positioning framework having a reflector assembly side, an end side and two lateral sides. A through-hole is formed at the center of the positioning framework, and the positioning framework is also provided with an assembly and positioning portion for assembly onto the lamp. An embedded sliding guide is set at an inner edge of the end side and two lateral sides of the positioning framework. The embedded sliding guide is set in a manner to guide the sliding and locking of the flange of the reflector. A positioner enables tight locking of the flange of the reflector to the embedded sliding guide.
Abstract: The present invention provides a connecting piping assembly with limiter, including a first connecting piping and a second connecting piping. The first connecting piping contains a first coupling end, a first assembly portion and a first flow channel. The second connecting piping contains a second coupling end, a second assembly portion and a second flow channel. The first and second assembly portions can be mated and positioned so that the first and second flow channels are interconnected. A locating part is provided with a polygonal through-hole, which can be slidably sleeved on the perimeter of the first and second assembly portions, such that the polygonal through-hole is mated with the perimeter of the first and second assembly portions. The locating part is positioned via a locator.
Abstract: An anchor pile apparatus for placement in subsea soil has a tubular member has an interior passageway, a support structure affixed to the upper end of the tubular member, a shaft rotatably mounted in the support structure and extending downwardly through the interior passageway of the tubular member, and an auger connected to the shaft. A suitable hydraulic torquing tool can be connected to the shaft so as to cause the shaft to rotate for the purpose of rotating the auger. The auger is rotated so as to draw the tubular member into the subsea soil. The tubular member has a plurality of fins extending radially outwardly therefrom.

Abstract: The invention relates to a mounting device for a bar from which to hang kitchen utensils, such as ladles, skimming ladles, film dispensers, etc. The mounting device includes a mounting bracket and a clip. The mounting bracket is formed of a flat plate extended at one of its edges by a 90° bend. The plate has, on the opposite face to the bend, an engaging device and a central hole. The clip has a U-shaped cross section with a front face connected by a bridge of material to a rear face that has a cutout opening into the bottom of the rear face. The cutout engaging device can engage and slide. The invention makes it possible, using a complementary accessory, either spacer piece or leg, to mount the bar on a flat vertical support or under a horizontal support, and to choose the locations of the mountings.
