Abstract: A cosmetic case comprises a body having a hollow portion formed at an upper portion thereof for containing a certain amount of cosmetic material and a brush storage hole formed inwardly at a lower portion thereof for storing a brush; a cover hinged at one side on the upper portion of the body to open and shut the body, the cover having a transparent window located at the center thereof for displaying the inside of the body containing the cosmetic material and a grip insertion groove formed at the other side of the cover opposed to the hinged portion; and a brush having a protective cap for wrapping and protecting a hair part and a grip part, the protective cap moving back and forth wrapping the hair part and the grip part, the brush being stored in the brush storage hole of the body and collapsed at a portion thereof, the collapsed end of the brush being forcedly inserted into the grip insertion groove of the cover to couple the cover and the body.

Abstract: A three-dimensional, decorative sculptured-plant vase having the appearance of a sculptured head and a sculptured torso for receiving in the sculptured head a plant with leaves, wherein the plant leaves appear to be the hair of the sculptured head. The decorative sculptured-plant vase includes a head-vase section having a curved outer wall with a circular perimeter rim edge for forming a plant-receiving opening, a plant interior chamber and a bottom wall having a stabilizing plug member extending therefrom; the plug member having at least one drainage hole opening formed therein; the plant interior chamber for receiving potting soil and a plant(s) therein; and a torso-base section having a curved upper wall with a circular perimeter rim edge for forming a plug-receiving opening, and a curved lower wall having a substantially curved perimeter rim edge for forming a bottom base opening and a torso inner chamber.

Abstract: Underpants having a protective structure are provided with a front piece and a corresponding rear piece which are joined and form underpants. The underpants are further provided with a pocket piece attached to the rear piece so that a pocket space is formed to connect with an opening formed between the front piece and the rear piece. Thus, the wearer's scrotum is received through the opening. A cover piece is attached to the pocket piece by one end and detachably affixed to the front piece by the other end such that the wearer's phallus, passing through the opening, can be held in position between the cover piece and the front piece, thereby preventing discomfort or skin disease due to perspiration from occurring.

Abstract: The multi-stone setting for nine gemstones or diamonds includes a rectangular-shaped setting having a four-sided frame member with first and second parallel lower crossbars extending in a first direction and in the same plane, and first and second parallel upper crossbars extending in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and in a different plane. The first and second lower crossbars and the first and second upper crossbars form nine seats each for receiving one of nine gemstones or diamonds. The multi-stone setting includes four corners with four corner prongs mounted on the four corners, respectively. Each of the four corner prongs have a V-shaped configuration forming a right angle for engaging the four corner gemstones.

The rear wall surface includes a rear mounting plate having a pair of mounting track rails thereon. A plurality of removable compartments are provided each having a rear wall; and each having compartment V-shaped mounting brackets on each of the rear walls for each of the compartments for connecting the compartments to the plurality of front V-shaped mounting brackets on the front wall surface to form a stacked arrangement of compartments. Abstract: A fiber optic lamp includes a lamp housing having a stem section with a passageway therein and a reflector section having a reflective surface. The lamp housing also has first and second circular ledges for receiving and holding in place at least one lens within the lamp housing. A fiber optic cable is provided having a first end for insertion into the passageway of the lamp housing for transmitting light. The second end of the fiber optic cable is connected to a light pump having a light source therein for generating and transmitting light through the fiber optic cable. The fiber optic cable is connected to a socket member of a fixture housing for mounting the stem section of the lamp housing in the fixture housing.

Abstract: A molded construction product, having one or more walls and an inner core section, including a composition matrix having a resin system, a catalytic agent, and filler compounds for forming the walls; a foam core system for forming the inner core section, a curing agent and a drying agent. The resin system is for providing mechanical and physical characteristics of hardness and rigidity to the exterior walls of the molded product. The catalytic agent is for activating the reaction for the polymerization of the resin system. The filler compounds for reinforcing the walls. The foam core system is for producing the inner core section having three-dimensional cross-linking and a core density of 3.5 pounds per cubic foot. The curing agent is for cross-linking of polymers within the resin system for forming the exterior walls to be hard, rigid, and infusible. The drying agent is for drying and binding of excessive moisture within the composition.

Abstract: A lighting fixture for reducing glare and darkspots on ceilings and walls. The lighting fixture includes a louver housing for supporting a plurality of fluorescent or high intensity discharge lamps. The lighting fixture further includes a first set of elongated, parallel, and spaced-apart reflectors; and a second set of elongated, parallel, and spaced-apart reflectors intersecting the first set of reflectors at a 90° degree angle for forming an open reflector grid therein. The open reflector grid includes four outer side walls. The open reflector grid is attached to the louver housing. The open parabolic reflector grid extends at least two inches (2″) below the ceiling level. The lighting fixture also includes a plurality of indirect reflectors connected to the four outer side walls of the open reflector grid for reducing glare and darkspots on ceiling and walls caused by the plurality of fluorescent lamps in the louver housing.

Abstract: This invention relates to a novel and way to use a twelve button telephone keypad for alphanumeric data entry. This invention also relates to a method of alphanumeric data entry using short duration or long duration binary key actuations using a simultaneous coding system and/or sequential coding system for communicating on a standard twelve key push-button telephone keypad. Two binary keys are used for an all capital letter mode or two binary keys for a lower-case letter mode, along with three binary keys for an upper-case letter mode, for producing full alphanumeric text, including punctuation, symbols and control.

Abstract: A collapsible umbrella is provided having ear-like projections as part of its main canopy, and includes an umbrella frame with a central shaft having a handle at one end and a crown member at the other end. The umbrella frame also includes a plurality of radially extending ribs being connected to the crown member and a plurality of strut members being connected to the plurality of ribs. The umbrella frame further includes a first ear-like frame assembly and a second ear-like frame assembly, with the main canopy including first and second ear-like covers that extend over the first and second ear-like frame assemblies, respectively. Each of the first and second ear-like frame assemblies include a first frame wire member attached to a strut and a second frame wire member attached to a rib.

Abstract: A laser apparatus and method for permanently removing a plurality of hair follicles from the skin of a patient. The laser apparatus includes a housing having first and second lasers contained therein for emitting at least first and second pulses of coherent light energy; first and second fiber optic bundles connected to the first and second lasers, respectively, for transmitting the pulses of coherent light energy from the first and second lasers; the first and second fiber optic bundles connected to a common fiber optic bundle for combining and transmitting at least first and second pulses of coherent light energy from each of the first and second lasers through the common fiber optic bundle; and a sequence control device for controlling the first and second lasers to emit at least first and second pulses of coherent light energy either sequentially or simultaneously, with a time delay of less than 20 milliseconds between the sequential pulses from the first and second lasers.

Abstract: A computer headphone extension device for connection to the audio output port on the rear of a personal computer and for connection to a stereo mini-plug of a headphone set. The computer headphone extension device includes an elongated electrical cord having a first end and a second end. The computer headphone extension device further includes a phone jack member connected to the first end of the electrical cord for inserting the stereo mini-plug into the audio output port on the rear of the personal computer; and a receiving box device having a connecting port for connecting to the second end of the electrical cord and having a phone jack for receiving the stereo mini-plug of the headphone set.

Abstract: A hanging package display unit for holding and displaying multiple sets of various clothing articles. The hanging package display unit includes a first hanger having a pair of arm holding members and a central neck member, with the neck member having a hook member and a receiving slot formed therein. The display unit also includes a second hanger having a pair of arm holding members and a central neck member, with the neck member having a hook member. The second hanger is disposed below the first hanger and connected thereto, wherein the hook member of the second hanger is received within the receiving slot of the first hanger. The hanger package display unit further includes a central hole formed in the neck member of the first hanger for receiving therein a securing device for holding together in a secure fashion the interlocked first and second hangers.

Abstract: The invention relates to a nutritional intervention composition that enhances and extends satiety in a calorically efficient manner. In particular, the invention contains protein, long chain fatty acids, calcium, soluble and insoluble fibers to stimulate CCK and prevent its subsequent inactivation and inhibition. By stimulating CCK and extending satiety the method is useful for the treatment of overweight individuals, individuals with Type II diabetes and individuals with bulimia.
