  • Patent number: 7400295
Abstract: The objects are identified on the basis of location and characteristics. The method is performed by a user device and a service product offering a service with which objects are identified. The object to be identified is positioned and the position of the object is informed to the service to which the user device has connected. The user selects a characteristic presented by the service for an object to be identified. A message containing the position of the object to be identified and the selected characteristic are then sent from the user device to the service product. The service fetches information on the basis of the position of the object and the selected characteristic from a database. The user device with a connection to said service and a service has a database with objects classified on the basis of their position and their characteristic.

  • Patent number: 7395943
Abstract: The invention relates to a container, such as a saucepan, pot, coffee pot or similar item, that is intended for keeping a content of the container (2) warm. The arrangement (1) has a container (2) that is enclosed by a heat insulating fabric part (3) that with the help of an adjustable band (18) is wrinkled at an upper part (5) around an area of an upper edge (6) of the container (2). This fixates the position of the fabric part (3) while at the same time providing a protection of the upper edge (6) of the container (2). An upper part (7) of the fabric part (3) is pivotably attachable to a heat insulating fabric part (9) that completely or partially encloses or covers a lid (8).

  • Patent number: 7391771
Abstract: The method is for sending information through a topology. A first and second node each having a first node having a first access port, a second access port and a first uplink connected to a first router and a second router, respectively. A third node is provided that has a first access port and a first uplink, the first uplink of the third node being connected to the second access port of the first node. A first packet is sent via the first access port to the second node. The second node adds a first port number to a tag of the first packet and sends the first packet via the first uplink of the second node to the first access port of the first node. The first node receives the first packet via the first access port of the first node. The first node adds the first port number to the tag and adds a first port number of the first access port of the first node to the tag. The first node sends the first packet via the first uplink of the first node to a first router.

  • Patent number: 7389115
Abstract: The method of the invention handles a request message from a mobile station to a content provider in a network comprising at least said mobile station, said content provider and a radio system with a first component for directing messages sent from and to mobile stations and a second component having routing information. In the method, the mobile station sends a request message to the content provider via said radio system. The request message is received by said first component for directing messages of said radio system, which first component fetches routing information from said second component. Thereafter, or simultaneously with said fetching of the routing information, the radio system forwards the request message to said content provider, which sends a reply message to the mobile station to said request via said radio system.

  • Patent number: 7381302
Abstract: The method and an arrangement are for improved impregnation of chips in association with the manufacture of chemical cellulose pulp. Un-steamed chips are fed into an impregnation vessel (30) in which a fluid level (LIQ_LEV) is established under the highest level (CH_LEV) of the chips. An improved impregnation arrangement for the chips is obtained by the addition of impregnation fluids (BL1/BL2/BL3) with increasing temperatures at different heights (P1, P2, P3), and by the establishment of a counter-flow zone (Z1) in the uppermost part of the impregnation vessel. The requirement for steaming may in this way be dramatically reduced while at the same time the amount of expelled waste gases may be minimized. A major part of the volatile compounds present in the wood are bound to the impregnation fluid (REC) that is withdrawn.

  • Patent number: 7380734
Abstract: A manually driven spreader for particulate material has two rotatable plates. The dispersed material from the spreader has an even dispense pattern without unwanted skewing found in prior art spreaders. The spreader covers greater area compared with single plate spreaders. The spreader has features that allow an operator to adjust the ports of the container during operation and also blocking/unblocking the ports without having to let go of the grip of the handle used to push the spreader.

  • Patent number: 7379941
Abstract: The method is used in a computer and includes the steps of providing a logical theory that has clauses. A rule is generated that is a resolvent of clauses in the logical theory. An example is retrieved. A proof tree is generated from the example using the logical theory. The proof tree is transformed into a database of a coverage check apparatus. The rule is converted into a partial proof tree that has nodes. The partial proof tree is transformed into a database query of the coverage check apparatus. The query is executed to identify tuples in the database that correspond to the nodes of the partial proof tree.

  • Patent number: 7362305
Abstract: The method of entering data into a computer device. A wearable device is attached to a first body part. The device has a lower unit and an upper unit connected to the lower unit. The device has sensors in operative engagement therewith for registering movements. The wearable device has a first accelerometer and a second accelerometer. The lower unit is provided with non-movable parts. A segment of a second body part is moved relative to the device without having physical contact with the sensors. The movement of the segment activates the sensors. The sensors sending sensor signals to a microprocessor unit. The first accelerometer senses an acceleration movement in a first direction. The second accelerometer senses an acceleration movement in a second direction. The first and second accelerometers send acceleration movement signals to a microprocessor unit that stores acceleration movement signals from the accelerometers together with the sensor signals to learn movements of the body part.

  • Patent number: 7351306
Abstract: The method is for cooking of cellulose pulp in which the raw material, preferably in the form of chips, undergoes a successive elevation of temperature towards the cooking temperature while the chips are first impregnated with an impregnation liquor followed by cooking in a cooking liquor that is preferably alkali. Through the addition of pre-evaporated black liquor, either as early as the impregnation stage or during the subsequent cooking stage, an improved delignification process is achieved in which the pulp obtains improved properties, primarily with respect to strength/viscosity for a given degree of delignification, and also with respect to yield. The method can be used both for continuous cooking and for batch cooking of cellulose pulp.

  • Patent number: 7350674
Abstract: The arrangement is for the adjustment of wear of the position of the rotor of a sluice feeder within a feed casing. The rotor has the form of a truncated cone and the play between the rotor and the surrounding casing is adjusted depending on the wear between the rotor and the casing through the rotor being axially displaced a predetermined displacement. A complete driving unit, motor and gear box are suspended on the journal of the rotor. The driving unit receives support from a torque support in the form of a beam fixed in the casing. The complete driving unit accompanies the rotor shaft during adjustment and makes contact with the torque-absorbing beam through sliding bearing supports.

  • Patent number: 7351305
Abstract: The digester and method are for the continuous cooking of pulp. At least two withdrawal positions (11E, 11D) for cooking fluid are arranged at different heights in the digester (10). The cooking fluid in the first and second position is withdrawn after the chips have had a retention time that differs by at least 10 minutes. The differential pressure between the positions is determined and when this exceeds a pre-determined level, a connection (17E) opens between these positions, establishing a flow parallel to a flow of cooking fluid between these positions in the digester. Several withdrawal positions are preferably connected in a common shunt system (17A-17F), with valves (18A-18F), controlled by the differential pressure, that are located between adjacent positions.

  • Patent number: 7346926
Abstract: Messages are sent over secure communication links in networks with a mobile terminal and another terminal. A secure communication link is established between an initial network address of the mobile terminal and the address of the other terminal. When the mobile terminal moves from the initial network address to a new network address, a request message is sent from the mobile terminal to the other terminal to change the secure connection to be used between the new address and the other terminal. The other terminal responds with a reply message with a description about the overcoming methods supported by the other terminal.

  • Patent number: 7321786
Abstract: The method is for a random-based decision making process. A communication device is activated and a menu is displayed. In a selecting step a random generating item is selected from the menu. The variables are then defined and the variables may be provided with different weighing factors. A random generator generates a random result based on the weighed variables. The random result is presented in the communication device. The presentation may be made at a random time, a specific time or right after the generation of the result.
