Abstract: An anchoring clip system that includes an anchoring clip that has a top flange portion and a base flange that can be connect to a substructure, and a cap member designed to be inserted over a portion of the roof panels so as to secure the roof panels to the anchoring clip. The anchoring clip system can optionally be designed to allow for fluid flow through or on one or more components of the anchoring clip system. The anchoring clip system can optionally include a locking crown that improves the wind uplift resistance of the panels.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods/systems to embed a watermark into a contone image. Specifically, the disclosed methods and systems spatially modulate a contone image substantially adjacent a watermark area according to a first polarization and spatially modulate the contone image substantially within the watermark area according to a second polarization. These spatially modulated images may then be subsequently processed, stored, communicated and/or rendered.

Abstract: A low complexity RACH preamble detector is described herein. The RACH preamble detection algorithm uses the peak detection of the time domain correlation function through frequency domain processing. The frequency domain processing considers the reference signals generated directly from frequency domain CAZAC sequence or time domain CAZAC sequence with DFT conversion. A low-complexity poly-phase LPF along with down sampling is implemented before the FFT to reduce the required length of the long FFT operation N-folded.

Abstract: A merchandising system includes an elongated mounting member selectively securable to an associated shelf. A cooperating member is received on the mounting member, wherein the cooperating member extends rearwardly over the associated shelf. The cooperating member includes an elongated body. An engaging element is mounted to the elongated body and is movable in relation thereto. The engaging element selectively contacts the mounting member in order to selectively secure the cooperating member to the mounting member.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and corresponding device of processing and parsing a to-be-transmitted data packet in a communication network, such as a LTE system. A sub-header that is used for a header portion of a transmitted data packet is generated for each component data packet constituting the transmitted data packet, containing: original data packet ID for indicating an original data packet which the component data packet belongs to; segmentation processing ID for indicating times of segmentation happened to the original data packet in order to the component data packet, and a data segment which said component data packet belongs to after each segmentation; data amount IF for indicating a data amount of a data portion of the data packet. With the technical solution provided by the present invention, the header structure definition of a data packet is optimized, and the transmission resource utilization efficiency is improved.

Abstract: A sunshade for regulating the entry of light into the interior of a vehicle. The sunshade includes a wind-up mechanism engaging a primary sheet. A secondary sheet is secured to the primary sheet. The primary sheet has a first end remote from the wind-up mechanism, the first end having a surface with a light reflecting value (A). The primary sheet has a second end adjacent the wind-up mechanism, the second end having a surface with a light reflecting value (B) which is greater or lesser than the light reflecting value (A). The secondary sheet has a first side facing the first end of the primary sheet, the first side having a surface with a light reflecting value substantially equal to value (A). Abstract: A system and method are provided for refining a user's query. An entity index, generated from a corpus of text documents, is provided. The entity index includes a set of entity structures, each including a plurality of terms. Each of the terms of an entity structure is a feature of the same entity. Entity structures can be retrieved from the entity index which match at least a portion of the user's query. Clusters of the retrieved entity structures are identified which have at least one of their terms in common. A cluster hierarchy is generated from the identified clusters in which nodes of the hierarchy are defined by one or more of the terms of the retrieved entity structures. At least a portion of the cluster hierarchy is presented to the user for facilitating refinement of the user's query through user selection of a node which, when formulated as a search, retrieves one or more responsive documents from the corpus of documents.

Abstract: A computer implemented electronic out-of-office message analysis system and method are disclosed. The method includes, for each of a plurality of users, receiving a user-generated electronic out-of-office message in a natural language in which a time window of absence and at least one alternate named contact are expressed and, based on the out-of-office message, generating a structured representation of the out-of-office message which links the alternate contact to a normalized representation of the time window. The structured representation of the out-of-office message is stored in a database. From the database it can be determined whether a current user's out-of-office message conflicts with another user's out-of-office message. If a conflict is detected, the current user can be notified.

Abstract: A method is provided of identifying which one of a plurality of femtocell base stations neighboring a first femtocell base station is to be the target for handover of a call connection with a user terminal from the first base station. The neighbor femtocell base stations use the same primary scrambling code as each other. The femtocell base stations use code-division multiple access, CDMA. Each of the neighbor femtocell base stations transmits a respective broadcast signal that include timing information such that each neighbor femtocell base station transmits a broadcast signal having different timing information to that of the other neighbor femtocell base stations. The user terminal receives broadcast signals, determines the timing information of at least one of the received broadcast signals and reports the timing information to the first femtocell base station. The first femtocell base station identifies the target femtocell base station for handover from the timing information.

Abstract: Malware detection systems are presented in which a list is constructed of enterprise hosts to or from which each given enterprise network host sends or receives packets within a current measurement period and statistics are accumulated based on two or more measurement period lists, with a count value being derived from the statistics to indicate the number of other hosts to or from which each monitored host sent or received packets, and one or more monitored hosts may be identified as suspected of being infected with slow and/or distributed scanning malware for which the count value exceeds a threshold value.

Abstract: A word spotting system includes a semi-continuous hidden Markov model configured to model a handwritten word of interest. A writing segments extractor is configured to extract writing segments generally comprising images of handwritten character strings from a received document image. A word model adaptation processor is configured to adjust a shared pool of Gaussians of the semi-continuous hidden Markov model respective to the extracted writing segments. A modeler is configured to model extracted writing segments using the semi-continuous hidden Markov model with the adjusted shared pool of Gaussians to identify whether each modeled writing segment matches the handwritten word of interest.

Abstract: A method for allocation of parameters for radio transmission in a wireless communication network using channel feedback compression is provided. At least one channel impulse response in the time domain for at least one connection (CH13-CH24) between an antenna (A1, A2) of a transmitter (BS) and an antenna of a receiver (MS) is determined. Only the at least one complex coefficient related to one or more time intervals of the at least one channel impulse response with a power higher than a predefined threshold is fed back. Parameters for radio transmission are allocated to the at least one connection (CH13-CH24) based on the at least one channel impulse response which is fed back. Network elements and a wireless communication network associated with the method are also provided.

Abstract: This disclosure provides printing methods, systems and apparatus to compensate for distortions by fusing toner applied to a media substrate. According to one exemplary method, image data is processed according to media characterization data for a toner density value associated with the image. The processed image data compensates for media substrate distortions due to fusing of a printed image on the media substrate.

Abstract: An apparatus, method and an image quality guide document are disclosed. The method includes, for at least one image in a set of images undergoing image enhancement, identifying image quality-related features for the image based on enhancements being applied to the image, identifying image content-related features based on content of the image, determining a content-based degradation of the image based on the identified image quality-related features and image content-related features, and generating a thumbnail of the image. The method further includes generating an image quality guide document for the set of images in which at least one of the thumbnails is associated with a respective text description that is based on the determined content-based degradation.

Abstract: A mobile client coupled to a network and a method for the mobile client to interact with nodes, including printer devices, which are coupled to the network, are provided. One or more respective nodes includes a software application executable by a host processor associated with the respective node on a software platform executed by the host processor. The application can interact with one of the printer devices to cause the printer device to perform a function. The mobile client includes an software platform executable by its processor for discovering the applications. The discovering of an application includes ascertaining that the application is available for execution and having the ability to activate the application.

Abstract: An image of a paginated document is zoned to identify text zones. First-pass character recognition is performed on the text zones to generate textual content corresponding to the paginated document. The image of the paginated document is re-zoned based on the textual content to identify one or more new text zones. Second-pass character recognition is performed on at least the new text zones to generate updated textual content corresponding to the paginated document.

Abstract: A system and method for document image acquisition and retrieval which find application in litigation for responding to discovery requests are disclosed. The method includes automatically acquiring image data and associated records for documents being processed by a plurality of image output devices within an organization and archiving the image data and associated records as image logs for the processed documents. When a request for document production is received by the organization, the image logs (and/or information extracted therefrom) are automatically filtered through at least one classifier trained to return documents responsive to the document request, and documents corresponding to the filtered out image logs are output. One of the filters may be configured for filtering privileged from non-privileged documents.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described that facilitate generating a ready-to-print binary dual-plane HLC image for output to an HLC device. A print-ready highlight color (HLC) image can be generated without digital front end (DFE) processing. For example, according to one or more aspects, a color scanner can be employed to produce a two-plane binary TIFF image. One plane contains black (e.g., achromatic) content, while the other contains highlight color content. Black pixels are identified and/or determined using neutral pixel and neutral window detection. Background pixels are mapped to white for both planes. Pixels that are non-neutral and non-background are designated as color pixels. After separation into a neutral plane and an HLC plane, the planes are processed into binary data for printing.
