    Abstract: Method and apparatus are provided for regulating an antifuse programming current by lightly doping an electrically connected region so that the resistance of the region responds in a non-linear manner to changes in voltage. In this way a variable resistor or a variably resistive transistor may be created which vary their resistance in response to an applied voltage and which may thereby limit a programming current while not limiting a lesser, reading current to a serially connected antifuse.

    Abstract: A low emissions 2-stroke natural gas fueled engine includes at least one cylinder with an exhaust port in communication with a silencer/catalytic converter unit. The unit has first and second volumes in communication with each other. The first volume dampens spurious exhaust pressure excursions and removes particulates in the exhaust. The second volume houses an oxidation catalyst for treating exhaust to reduce exhaust emissions. The engine oil has at most 10 ppm zinc content to reduce metal poisons contained in the exhaust prior to contact with the oxidation catalyst. The engine oil preferably has a very low ash content to minimize sulfur combustion components in the exhaust to reduce masking of the oxidation catalyst. The first volume preferably has a pressure relief valve set to relieve at a pressure greater than the maximum normal operating pressure of the engine to avoid excessive pressure excursions of the engine exhaust from damaging the oxidation catalyst.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for displaying annotations on a digital image such that the viewing area is simplified and maximized. Abbreviated reason codes are employed, thereby increasing the number of annotations that may be displayed concurrently with an image and reducing the obtrusiveness of the annotations. The abbreviated reason codes may provide information to viewers about the significance of the image. Viewers may configure where the annotations are displayed and may associate priorities with the reason codes such that annotations of interest may be displayed more prominently or accessibly. Likewise, text descriptions associated with an annotation may be hidden until requested by a viewer. In instances where the number of annotations exceeds some configurable threshold, the excess annotations may be hidden unless requested.

In one embodiment, the modular system includes a mobile cart and an air conditioning system configured to provide conditioned air to an aircraft. The embodiment also includes a modular power converter for converting input power to a desired output power, which can be input to a supported aircraft. The cart is configured to receive a plurality of different interchangeable power converters, such as a 115 VAC, 400 Hz power converter or a 270 VDC power converter. In some embodiments, a variety of other components are also coupled to the mobile cart, including a local generator and engine. The generator may supply power to the air conditioning system and to the converter.

By disabling the wordline driver on the wordlines directly adjacent to the active wordlines, a path is provided to drive the coupling noise from the active wordline to ground through the strong transistor.

The sensor further includes means for providing access to the memory to allow transmission of the data that defines the at least one sensor boundary to the monitor.

Fluid treatment, such as water treatment regimes may be taken into account in evaluation of fouling. An automated knowledge based analysis algorithm may diagnose possible caused of fouling based upon sensed and observed parameters and conditions. Corrective actions may be suggested and the system controlled to reduce, avoid or correct for detected fouling.

The selection of a clock signal that most closely approximates the original significantly reduces lock time when attempting to synchronize an internal clock with an external clock. Additionally, there is provided a method for comparing three clock signals with an original clock signal and selecting from the three clock signals one that is approximately in phase with the original clock signal.

    Abstract: The present technique is directed toward the fabrication of integrated circuits and provides for the production of a hardened metal layer on the surface of a semiconductor wafer to reduce the amount of material removed during chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) of the metal layer. This hardened layer may be produced, for example, by oxidizing the metal surface and/or coating the metal surface with a polymer. In one implementation, a relatively thick and dense oxide layer is formed on the wafer metal surface prior to CMP, by injecting, for example, an oxidant, such as oxygen or ozone, near the end of an annealing cycle. The hardened metal beneficially protects recessed regions from CMP chemical attack and CMP pad deformation, and thus reduces the thickness-to-planarity, dishing, and waste generation realized during CMP.
