Abstract: An apparatus for original and improvement machining of the active surfaces of steer cams, mainly of brake spanners, in which the kinematic chain connecting together a work piece being rotation-safely clamped and a basic slide comprises a non-reversing free wheel, the external side of which being secured to the milling headstock. A unilateral claw clutch is coupled with the non-fixed inner part of the free wheel, the claw clutch being reversely operated with the non-reversing free wheel. A gear connectd to an intermediate shaft is in connection with one side of the unilateral claw clutch and elements are coupled with the gear, the elements transforming angular displacement to rectilinear displacement.

Abstract: A ladder wherein a plurality of rounds are pivotally and turnably mounted to and between the right stanchion and the left stanchion at proper spaces, and supporting arm levers are detachably fixed from both stanchions to the round by bolts or machine screws.
Abstract: A high frequency ballast circuit for a discharge lamp particularly of the so-called energy saving type adapted to fit into conventional incandescent lamp sockets. The circuit comprises an inductive choke and a transistor switching device connected in series with the lamp and a rectified source of AC supply. The transistor is switched with a high frequency, preferably asymmetrically square, waveform and a diode having a direction of conduction opposite to that of the transistor is connected in shunt across the series-connected choke and lamp. The circuit enables lightweight air core coils to be used for the inductive choke facilitating integral combination of the circuit and discharge lamp into a lamp unit having the same general configuration as a conventional incandescent lamp.
Abstract: A stable, thixotropic aqueous bitumen dispersion containing no emulsifier is prepared. Alkaline earth metal hydroxide and an aluminum salt are brought into contact to form an aqueous aluminum hydroxide gel. Molten bitumen is dispersed in the gel. The dispersion has a good shelf life and is stable with respect to electrolytes and chemically active construction materials.

Abstract: A heating exchanging device comprising a first fluid retaining means; at least two opposed substantially V-shaped support plates, the plates being within the retaining means and having a plurality of holes; a plurality of heating tubes passing through said matrix of holes as to define a spiral path, and an upper support frame in parallel with a lower support frame for supporting said V-shaped support plates. The device may further comprise an I-shaped support plate disposed between said V-shaped support plates and connected centrally thereto, the upper and lower support frames being essentially centrally connected by the I-shaped plate and being connected proximate opposed terminal portions thereof by the V-shaped support plates. The support frame preferably has a steel core covered with an outer tube of fluorocarbon resin, the tube being heated and shrunk to provide intimate contact with the core.
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for the treatment of liquids, in particular for the biological purification of household sewage and/or industrial sewages containing organic contaminations, furtheron for the aeration and/or sedimentation of liquids. In the circular, quadratic or elongated oblong basin receiving the liquid a path recurring in itself is formed by means of one or more partition walls. For moving the liquid in a horizontal and/or horizontal and vertical direction propellers and/or rotors with a horizontal and/or vertical axle are used. For the aeration of the liquid one or more aerators with a horizontal or vertical axle and/or one or more fixed air blowers are applied. In sense of the invention one or more secondary sedimentators in a longitudinal arrangement or with a circular top-view, provided with oblique lamellae, are connected directly to the object or are assembled therewith.

Abstract: Apparatus for scraping off heads of fish and crusts of crustacea, wherein the portions to be scraped off are delivered parallel by means of a feeding device, and then the portions are hitched by a scraping-off pawl plate, the body portions of the fish and crustacea being fixedly pushed against the feeding device. The pawl plate moves in a direction orthogonal to the feeding direction, the portions to be scraped off being removed automatically while the reverse sides of these portions are supported upon the hitching operation by means of a member that moves in the scraping-off direction.
Abstract: Electrical current supply terminal, especially for discharge tubes of light sources having a high pressure gas discharge. The invention is concerned with an electrical feed through, especially for discharge tubes of light sources having high pressure gas discharge, which current supply terminal is passed through a ceramic material, preferably from aluminum oxide and with a binding material is hermetically binded thereto, the heat expansion coefficient of which is appropriately selected and which is preferably vitreous enamel. In order to eliminate the difficulties resulting from the different heat expansion coefficient of ceramics, binding material and the metal material, the feed through is formed from a bundle of metallic threads. The bundle comprises preferably strands or braids and as material preferably molybdenum or tungsten is used.

Abstract: The invention relates to an improved process for reducing the iron content of iron-, silicon- and aluminium-containing raw materials and for producing ferric oxide, optionally along with an alumina concentrate. According to the invention the iron content of mineral raw materials, e.g. bauxites, clay minerals, colliary rocks, red muds, etc. is eliminated by passing through one or more beds prepared from the unground but preferably prebroaken and sized raw material an aqueous hydrochloric acid solution, the concentration of which exceeds 100 g./lit., at a temperature below 90.degree. C., preferably at room temperature, optionally in the presence of a flocculating agent. By pyrolytic decomposition of the ferric chloride prepared ferric oxide can be produced.
