Abstract: Connectors capable of connecting socket and/or ratchet elements in a wrench assembly in such a manner that a nut- or bolt-engaging member at one end of the assembly is disposed at a selected position or orientation with respect to a handle at the opposite end of the assembly. The connectors include ninety-degree connectors characterized by male and female connector elements disposed in generally perpendicular relationship to each other. The connectors further include parallel offset connectors in which male and female connector elements are disposed in offset, parallel relationship to each other. The male and female connector elements are capable of removably engaging companion female and male connector elements, respectively, of various socket and/or ratchet elements to assemble the wrench assembly and facilitate positioning of a wrench handle at one end of the wrench assembly at a selected orientation with respect to a nut- or bolt-engaging element at the opposite end of the assembly.

Abstract: A fender hook for a boating vessel is provided. The fender hook includes a rigid core form having a leather outer covering and a sheep's wool interior lining. The fender hook is particularly designed for use with yachts having a relatively steep-pitched exterior hull wall. In further aspects, the fender hook may have a fishing rod holder or a mooring whip holder fixedly attached thereto.

Abstract: A bingo game pattern indicator and game display preferably includes a display surface and a plurality of magnetic pieces. The display surface is fabricated from a magnetic material or magnetic material is applied to the display surface. A pattern indicator is applied to one end of the display surface. The pattern indicator includes a plurality of spaces. A game display is applied to the other end of the display surface. The game display includes several rows of sequential numbers. A number at the beginning of each new row continues sequentially from a number ending the previous row. Magnetic pattern pieces are placed over the spaces in the pattern indicator to form some pattern for a game of bingo. A magnetic numeric piece is placed over each number that has been called during a game of bingo. The display surface is preferably attached to a wall with at least two fasteners.

Abstract: A display apparatus for use by a worker in a workplace environment to visually communicate to coworkers, among other things, the current location or whereabouts of the worker and the worker's expected time of return to an office or other workspace. Cards carried by a spiral member of the apparatus include alphanumeric and/or pictorial information to quickly indicate a location within the workplace. A clock face having manually adjustable hands indicates an expected return time. One embodiment incorporates a triangular geometry geared for support on a desktop. Additional embodiments are configured for positioning over an office partition wall, as well as against an office door panel, window and the like.

Abstract: A modular storage system which is suitable for storing various items such as screws, nuts, bolts, washers and paper clips in a space-efficient and accessible manner is disclosed. The modular storage system includes a storage shelf and multiple containers removably engaging the storage shelf. A tray assembly having multiple trays may be provided in at least one of the containers for storing additional items.

Abstract: Apparatus for simultaneously flushing multiple outboard boat motors, or for simultaneously flushing a boat motor and hosing down a boat, includes a water flow manifold having a single input conduit, which receives water from a single water source, and communicates the water to at least two output conduits of the manifold. A water flow control means interposed between the input conduit and the output conduits controls the relative flow of water to the output conduits. Flexible tubing attached to and extending from the output conduits communicates the relative water flow to a pair of tubing adapters, each having one end attached to the flexible tubing and an opposite end either attached to a motor flush port or, alternatively, to a conventional water hose nozzle.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for converting electromagnetic radiation directly into electricity. The method aligns a plurality of ferromagnetic nanocrystals to produce an aggregate magnetic field; utilizes an electrical coil in the aggregate magnetic field; and alternately directs and removes radiant energy from the ferromagnetic nanocrystals such that the aggregate magnetic field decays and regenerates to produce a current in the electrical coil. The apparatus includes either a distribution or a stackup of ferro-magnetic nanocrystals and an electrical coil, the combination of the nanocrystals and the electrical coil operating with energy derived from the source of radiant energy.

Abstract: A convertible boat top which is mounted on a bass or flats type boat and can be selectively deployed in an extended, functional position to cover occupants of the boat and a stowed, storage position on the side of the boat to prevent interference of the boat top with occupants engaged in fishing or other boating activities. The convertible boat top includes a pair of support stanchions for engaging the boat and a pair of attachment stanchions for engaging the boat in spaced-apart relationship to the support stanchions. A retractable boat top is selectively extendable from the support stanchions and removably engages the attachment stanchions to cover and shield occupants in the boat from adverse weather conditions.

Abstract: A dietary supplement which is formulated for medical patients, particularly renal dialysis patients undergoing a peritoneal renal dialysis treatment regimen. The supplement includes a powdered mixture of calcium caseinate, whey protein, L-carnitine and arginine. The ingredients are typically formulated in a powdered form which can be easily added to and ingested with various foods. The supplement provides various nutritional benefits to renal dialysis patients, including the elevation of blood carnitine and albumin levels and the reduction of blood pressure in renal transplant patients.

Abstract: A computer network system within a virtual environment, includes several computers which are networked to each other to function as a single unit, including at least one parent computer synchronizing and delegating tasks among the several computers; so that the unit scans and gathers data from the virtual environment, and processes and organizes the data into an implementable representation of the data. The unit preferably additionally includes at least one dedicated computer for performing a specific task, and at least one processing computer for providing processing power to the unit. The unit alternatively delivers the implementable representation of the data in the form of a report to a user computer terminal and awaits a decision from a human user.
