Abstract: A dental hygiene apparatus including a mouthpiece formed of a flexible arcuate channel defining and inner space designed for receiving an upper or lower set of human teeth. The channel is provided with longitudinally extending tunnels interconnected by communicating passageways. Each of the tunnels is provided with a longitudinally extending track and a guide slot communicating with the inner space. A carriage assembly includes motor assemblies joined by rigid chassis rods. The carriage assembly is designed such that the motor assemblies may be disposed in the tunnels while the chassis rods are disposed in the passageways. The motor assemblies have a shaft extending through one of the guide slots and carrying a rotatably mounted cleaning head on a distal end. The motor assemblies also include a driven wheel resting on a one of the tracks, for propelling the carriage assembly along the tracks. The cleaning heads rotate to clean the teeth and travel along the tracks to clean each tooth in sequence.
Abstract: An automotive wheel assembly that has a smooth, flush or continuous, transition surface between an outer wheel barrel and an inner wheel barrel, to enhance the aesthetic appearance of the automotive wheel is fabricated by a modification to the wheel design, construction, assembly and/or finishing process to impart a uniform aesthetic appearance throughout the inner and outer barrels of the wheel and a seamless transition, or “endless lip effect,” between the inner and outer barrels of the wheel. Various embodiments of the design incorporate one-piece, two-piece and three-piece automotive wheel assemblies.
Abstract: A combination birdfeeder and fountain for outdoor use in one contained unit. The combination birdfeeder and fountain includes both a feeding station, and a fountain unit with circulating water. The combination birdfeeder and fountain addresses the basic needs of birds by providing a food storing and dispensing area, a fountain for drinking and bathing, and includes a means for illuminating the birdfeeder and fountain at night. The device may be operated by conventional power sources including AC, DC or solar energy, and may also include a heating means to warm the device in cold environments. An ornamental lighted device may be placed on top of the birdfeeder and fountain to further provide ornamental features, and illumination.
Abstract: A pet bowl assembly for traveling in a vehicle includes a container for holding water, a triangular shaped bowl that is in fluid communication with the container, and a lid removably attached to the triangular shaped bowl. The container is shaped and sized to dimensionally correspond to a shape and size of a recess of a cup holder in a console of a vehicle. The container is securely retained within the cup holder, and the triangular shaped bowl extends partially between the front vehicle seats. In another embodiment, a pet bowl assembly is provided for storing both food and water. The pet bowl assembly includes a container for holding pet food where the container is releasably attached to a triangular shaped pet bowl that is filled with water. The embodiments optionally include a splashguard for preventing spilling when a pet is drinking from the bowl and when a vehicle is in motion.
Abstract: The hurricane prevention system and method for use in ocean water is provided including a buoyant platform on which is disposed a wind-driven power source, a water-moving system, and a water-dispersing system. The wind-driven power source is configured to use wind energy to power the water-moving system, which is configured to transport water from somewhat deeper ocean water levels to, or near, the level of the ocean. The water-dispersing system is preferably configured to disperse the water from the water-moving system to an area at or near the sea surface. The buoyant platform preferably is anchored by a mooring system. The hurricane prevention system and method is designed to bring cooler water from deeper in the ocean to or near the ocean surface and to disperse that cooler water in that area to reduce the sea surface temperature, thereby preventing or inhibiting the formation of hurricanes.
Abstract: A privacy-enhancing, glare-reducing display screen shield is provided including a pleated central portion, a first leg and a second leg on the edges of the pleated portion and generally parallel to the pleats, and mounting means on at least one leg to enable the display screen shield to be attached to an electronic device. The legs are movable relative to each other between a closed position and an open position in which the pleats radiate outwardly in a fan configuration, thus enabling the collapsible, transportable, attachable, and removable design of the display screen shield. The mounting means include adhesives, hook and loop fasteners, magnets, complementary mechanical means, or other removable means. Optionally, leg attachment bases that incorporate complementary mounting means and that attach to the electronic device may be provided. One or more display screen shields can be attached to the electronic device to furnish privacy or glare reduction.
Abstract: A weighted exercise vest includes a plurality of pockets for holding small items, and standard free gym weights. Each pocket includes a pocket opening and a pocket flap for securely retaining the items and weights within each corresponding pocket opening. The vest includes shoulder support pads for protecting the shoulders of a user by cushioning the weight of a weight-lifting equipment, such as a barbell, permitting a person to use the vest with alternative exercise regimens. The vest also includes shoulder panels and side panels including adjustable fastening means for adjusting the size of the vest to conform to different users.
Abstract: A temporary vehicle cover includes a transparent cover and means for securing the transparent cover to the motor vehicle. The transparent is shaped to fit over a motor vehicle. The transparent cover includes a transparent cover top surface, a transparent cover bottom surface, a transparent cover first side, a transparent cover second side, a transparent cover rear end and a transparent cover securing end. Lengthwise perforations formed down substantially a middle of the transparent cover and separate the transparent cover first side from the transparent cover second side. The transparent cover first side is separated from the transparent cover second side to remove the temporary vehicle cover from a motor vehicle. A drawstring sewn into a hem of a perimeter of the temporary vehicle cover or an elastic loop may be used for the means for securing the transparent cover to the motor vehicle.

Abstract: A punch apparatus for cutting an opening in a sheet of material is disclosed. The punch apparatus includes a base plate, a measuring stick provided on the base plate and a punch assembly having multiple blades adjustably mounted on the measuring stick for cutting the material. The punch apparatus facilitates the expeditious measurement, marking and cutting of openings for electrical outlet boxes, switch boxes or other utility boxes in sheetrock or other material as well as precise replication of the openings in the sheetrock or other material.
Abstract: A blocking nut ensemble for positional placement on a threaded shaft comprises a first internally threaded nut for threading on a shaft and including a first abutting face having intermediate inner and outer sidewalls depending therefrom and defining an annular groove in the first nut. A second internally threaded nut for threading on the shaft is axially aligned with the first nut. The second nut has a second abutting face and an annular locking flange extending therefrom wherein the annular locking flange is radially positioned in registration with the annular groove in the first nut. The annular flange of the first nut is received in the annular groove of the second nut when the first abutting face abuts the second abutting face thereby locking the first nut to the second nut.
