Patent number: 8334005Abstract: A method for the continuous production of sandwich baked goods having a high volume of filler includes conveying a bottom base cake, detecting the position of the base cake, and extruding a filler through a die aperture to form a ribbon in response to the detection of the position of the bottom base cake. In response to detection of the base cake, a signal or timing mechanism may activate a guillotine knife or blade to open the die aperture to allow filler to be deposited on the bottom base cake and to close the die aperture to sever or cut the ribbon to a predetermined dimension. The severing prevents further flow of the filler through the die aperture until the next bottom base cake is detected and the die aperture is again opened to allow filler to be deposited on the next bottom base cake.Type: GrantFiled: November 14, 2008Date of Patent: December 18, 2012Assignee: Kraft Foods Global Brands LLCInventors: Chris E. Patent number: 8335425Abstract: In performing stereoscopic view, a shift information memory (21) stores, as a number of pixel lengths, an offset indicating how far in a right direction or a left direction to move coordinates of pixels to realize stereoscopic view. When realizing stereoscopic view, a plane shift engine (20) moves the coordinates of image data in a graphics plane in the right direction or the left direction by the number of pixel lengths indicated by the offset. When a scale of video data targeted for stereoscopic view is changed by a basic graphics plane (15), a shift distance of pixel coordinates by the plane shift engine (20) is based on a number of pixel lengths obtained by multiplying the offset by a changed scaling factor in the horizontal direction.Type: GrantFiled: November 17, 2009Date of Patent: December 18, 2012Assignee: Panasonic CorporationInventors: Ken Yamashita, Germano Leichsenring

Patent number: 8335097Abstract: A semiconductor device providing a control circuit for controlling a switching power supply apparatus includes: an intermittent-oscillation control circuit which outputs an enable signal providing instructions to execute and suspend switching alternately; a turn-on control circuit which changes between an execution state and a suspension state of the switching according to the enable signal, and outputs, only in the execution state, a turn-on signal which turns on the switching element with a switching period; and an intermittent-oscillation frequency control circuit which causes the turn-on control circuit to delay the changing between the execution state and the suspension state so that an intermittence period including periods during which the turn-on control circuit is in the execution state and the turn-on control circuit is in the suspension state falls outside of a specific time range. Intermittent oscillation is thus operated out of a specific frequency band within an audible frequency range.Type: GrantFiled: June 16, 2010Date of Patent: December 18, 2012Assignee: Panasonic CorporationInventor: Tetsuji Yamashita

Patent number: 8331717Abstract: Block noises at block boundaries are removed, but when a contour line in the original image matches a block boundary, the degree of block noise removal is adjusted and image quality is improved. An adaptive filter has a step of calculating the weight of pixels near the block boundary by a high-pass filter, and a step of determining an adjusted value for the pixels near the block boundary based on the weight. The pixel values near the block boundary are adjusted and block noises are removed. A low-pass filter is applied to pixels near the block boundary to determine a filtered value. The adjusted values of the pixels near the block boundary are determined by obtaining a weighted sum of the original pixel value and the filtered value.Type: GrantFiled: October 2, 2008Date of Patent: December 11, 2012Assignee: Panasonic CorporationInventors: Pei-Lin Hou, Chih-Jung Lin, Satoshi Kondo

Patent number: 8325278Abstract: When a format of a video signal or an audio signal received by a receiver of a video/audio signal input/output device is switched by a channel selecting operation by a user, a format determiner determines an output format. An output format communicator transmits format information indicating the output format to a video/audio reproduction device through a communicator. After a converter switches the output format, the communicator transmits the video signal and the audio signal to the video/audio reproduction device. When a communicator of the video/audio reproduction device receives the format information, a format switcher switches reproduction setting of a display based on the format information. After that, when the communicator receives the video signal and the audio signal, the display reproduces video and audio.Type: GrantFiled: November 27, 2007Date of Patent: December 4, 2012Assignee: Panasonic CorporationInventor: Hirotaka Oku
