  • Patent number: 5062906
Abstract: The present invention is to produce non-oriented electrical steel sheet by a hot direct rolling. The slab is directly sent to the hot rolling without the brief soaking, whereby others than AlN inevitably precipitated check the precipitation of AlN, a roughing and a finish rolling are performed at determined reduction rates, and a delay time is taken between the roughing and the finish rolling, and besides a finish rolling is performed at not more than Ar.sub.3 so that precipitating nuclei of AlN are effectively introduced into the steel, and uniform and coarse AlN precipitation is formed by a coiling at temperature of more than 700.degree. C., thereby to enable to provide uniform and satisfied ferrite grain growth at the recrystallization annealing.

  • Patent number: 5050188
Abstract: In the transmission of information, particularly long-distance speech signals, between a first and a second station, the information is transmitted from the first to the second station by means of a code alternating current of predetermined frequency and phase-state, and from the second station to the first station by means of a code alternating current which has the predetermined frequency and a phase shifted by 90.degree. with respect to the predetermined phase. The phase of the code alternating current transmitted from the second to the first station can be driven by means of the phase of the code alternating current transmitted from the first to the second station. The code alternating currents may contain code elements in the form of half waves or periods of differentiated amplitudes of the code alternating current, which is essentially sinusoidal. In order to use multiplication, two code-alternating-currents, whose phases are shifted by 90.degree.

  • Patent number: 5013923
Abstract: The invention comprises of four magnet system for dispersing and recombining precisely several isotopes for injection into a tandem accelerator. The precise horizontal focusing of the ions is achieved magnetically using curved boundaries of the magnets which have normal entrance and exit boundaries for the central trajectories. The precise vertical focusing is achieved mainly by the electric slot lenses in the first version, with small adjustments of the focusing of the isotopes, other than the central trajectory isotope, by curved boundaries of the magnet. It is the use of the electric slot lenses, or a similar electric device with one dimensional focusing, which in part decouples the focusing action in the vertical plane from the horizontal plane, that permits the use of four fold magnetic symmetry and boundary curvature to accomplish true recombination of the isotopes in a practical and compact device.
