  • Patent number: 7674404
Abstract: Provided is a high-density gallium oxide/zinc oxide sintered sputtering target containing 20 massppm or greater of each zirconium oxide and aluminum oxide, wherein the total content thereof is less than 250 ppm. This gallium oxide (Ga2O3)/zinc oxide (ZnO) sputtering target (GZO target) improves the conductivity and bulk density of the target by adding trace amounts of specific elements. In other words, it is possible to obtain a target capable of increasing the sintered density, inhibiting the formation of nodules, and preventing the generation of abnormal electrical discharge and particles by improving the component composition. Further, provided are a method of forming a transparent conductive film with the use of the target, and a transparent conductive film formed thereby.

  • Patent number: 7674598
Abstract: Methods for differentially identifying cells in an instrument employ compositions containing a combination of selected antibodies and fluorescent dyes having different cellular distribution patterns and specificities, as well as antibodies and fluorescent dyes characterized by overlapping emission spectra which form non-compensatable spectral patterns. When utilizing the compositions described herein consisting of fluorescent dyes and fluorochrome labeled antibodies with overlapping spectra that cannot be separated or distinguished based upon optical or electronic compensation means, a new fluorescent footprint is established. This new fluorescent footprint is a result of the overlapping spectra and the combined cellular staining patterns of the dyes and fluorochrome labeled antibodies chosen for the composition. The new fluorescent footprint results in histogram patterns that are useful for the identification of additional cell populations or subtypes in hematological disease.

  • Patent number: 7668662
Abstract: A patient-specific optimally effective radiation dose for administration of a radiopharmaceutical to a patient for treatment of a disease may be established by basing the calculation of the appropriate therapeutic dose on factors such as the desired total body dose, the maximum tolerated dose, the typical clearance profile of the radiopharmaceutical, the patient's mass or maximum effective mass, and the patient-specific residence time of the radiopharmaceutical or an analog in the whole body of the patient. The use of the method allows for treatment of a patient with an appropriate dose which is maximally effective against the disease yet minimally toxic. The determination of a patient-specific therapeutic dose may be assisted by the use of a software program set to the particular parameters of the radiopharmaceutical.

  • Patent number: 7666039
Abstract: An outboard motor having a steering control and a rudder reference sensor, both connectible to a computer-operated guidance system. The steering control utilizes a linear actuator connected through a linkage to the motor. The actuator utilizes a rack that moves along the axis about which the motor pivots from its use position to its storage position, thereby enabling the rudder position sensor to remain connected to the motor when the motor is pivoted from its use position to its storage position. The sensor can include a follower disposed in a sloping groove on the rack, a pin on the rack engaged in a helical groove on a cylinder, or an externally mounted sensor connected to the steering linkage through an auxiliary linkage.
