    Abstract: This invention is a terminal connector device for electrical wires and comprises a flap member movable under the action of an actuating button, which flap is interposed, in a biased position, between a terminal entry member and a wire receiving support. The withdrawal of said flap from this interposing position, under the action of said button, permits the introduction of the wire whose connecting is obtained automatically by lateral wedging of the wire inserted into said receiving support by the action of said flap, when the button is released. The button is lockable to hold said flap in its retracted position permitting introduction of the wire, which position also enables the disconnection of a previously positioned wire.

    Abstract: There is disclosed a battery hydrometer for providing an analog electrical signal having a magnitude related to the specific gravity of a battery electrolyte. The hydrometer includes a source of radiation for providing a detectable beam of radiation and a piston member arranged to be submerged within the electrolyte and to intercept and modulate the beam of radiation in response to the specific gravity of the electrolyte. The piston member is suspended within the electrolyte by a spring which exerts a compressive force upon the piston member against which the electrolyte must act. The hydrometer further includes a radiation detector aligned with the radiation source for providing an analog electrical signal having a magnitude responsive to the modulated beam of radiation.

The insertion piece of the clip is provided with four flexible wings projecting outwardly from the four positions on the outer boundary of the central piece. With this clip, the object is fixed on a given panel by causing the central portion of the insertion piece to be slid into the groove of the object, then allowing the oblong head piece of the clip to be passed through a matched oblong hole bored in advance in the panel and finally turning the protruding oblong head piece by 90.degree., and the removal of the object from the panel is effected by turning the oblong head piece by another 90.degree..

    Abstract: A fastener with a modified thread form discourages a nut from becoming irremovably frozen on the shank of a bolt. A first normal thread extends from a base reference surface to a height on the fastener shank to permit full thread engagement by a nut. Axially outwardly along the shank from that point, there is provided a second thread of reduced crest diameter but still of sufficient size to engage the threads on the nut. This reduction in thread diameter provides additional clearance to permit the nut to be backed off in spite of marred threads or paint or rust buildups.

    Abstract: There is disclosed a two-way valve which includes a single valve seat for controlling the flow of fluid in opposed directions through the valve responsive to differential fluid pressures across the valve. The valve includes first and second ports and a valve chamber. Across the valve chamber there is disposed a resilient diaphragm having an opening defining the valve seat. A ball valve element is supported in aligned relation to the valve seat and biasing means urge the ball element and valve seat into sealing engagement. When the pressure at the first port is greater than the pressure at the second port by a predetermined amount, the ball element moves away from the valve seat permitting fluid flow from the first port to the second port. When the pressure at the second port is greater than the pressure at the first port by a predetermined amount, the valve seat moves away from the ball element permitting fluid flow from the second port to the first port.

A projection extends inwardly from one of the arms and is dimensioned for being received by the conduit aperture. The projection includes a through aperture for communicating the filter unit with the conduit.
